Dr. Michael T. Smith is our dentist. He was born in Ogden and was raised in Roy, Utah. Growing up, he enjoyed training and competing in power tumbling where he placed first in Utah, second nationally and in the world competition in Auckland, New Zealand he placed third. He graduated from Roy High School where his tumbling skills aided him in becoming the schools spirit leader/mascot. Most of Dr. Smiths life has been centered around the dental field. His father is a newly retired orthodontist and Dr. Smith worked in his fathers practice most of his life as a chair-side assistant, fabricating retainers/study models, in sterilization, and as a schedule coordinator.
Dr. Smith broke from his studies to dedicate two years of his life in church service to the people of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He was offered a scholarship to Weber State University where he studied his predental curriculum. He later attended dental school at the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis. He and his family thoroughly enjoyed Indiana for their wonderful childrens museum and amazing zoo (but didnt care for the tornados).
Dr. Smith finds his greatest happiness being with his wife and four wonderful children. He also enjoys snowboarding, wakeboarding, golfing and traveling with his family. Dr. Smiths greatest joy in his work is to see how peoples smiles are changed for the better and promoting greater self-esteem while he focuses on patient comfort throughout the entire process.

Holladay Smiles is incredible. Dr. Smith is an artist. He completely transformed my smile in under an hour! My front teeth had been damaged in a bicycle accident when I was in 6th grade, and I've always had confidence issues with it - not to mention the idea of how much it would cost to have a normal smile was always something that haunted me. I'm 32 now, and today was the day I finally got my teeth fixed and for a fraction of what I thought it would cost! Dr. Smith made sure I was comfortable and relaxed during the process from beginning to end. And the way he went about shaping my existing teeth to the point where I couldn't recognize them as my original teeth was just amazing. I couldn't be happier! I will still get new teeth/veneers in a few years or so, mainly because Holladay Smiles is affordable enough to definitely fulfill your dreams of having a perfect smile. This place is the best, truly.

I have been a client for many years and have always been impressed. Dr. Smith is the first dentist I've seen that does great work and I have minimal pain with major things like multiple cavities, root canal, implants, etc. Now my husband and 3 year old daughter go too and have also had nothing but great experiences. All of the staff is amazing... My toddler felt right at home which is really saying something! They offered for her to watch a show but she was more interested in all the tools. They showed her everything, explained it thoroughly--what everything does and why. They even let her help clean my teeth. She thought she was big stuff. Then she got to pick a prize afterward and was very proud of herself. Thank you so much!

Dr. Smith is Knowledgeable, detail oriented, and above all he is kind. He will take the time to understand what is happening for you and then work with you to create a plan to solve the issue. Dr. Smith and his staff make the experience enjoyable from start to finish. Yes! i said enjoyable! if you are looking for the best dentist office in that valley, Holladay Smiles is the place. Kristie has gone above and beyond for me before every appointment. I have canceled appointments the day of a few times because of work meetings popping up and she is always happy to re-schedule me. She personally called my dental insurance company to verify my coverage on multiple occasions even waiting patiently on hold with the insurance company to get me answers. She is incredible. The entire team makes you feel super welcome. Dr. Smith is definitely the most talented dentist I have ever seen and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. Love them!

I needed to establish new care after moving. This office was spectacular. Their kindness, quality of care, friendliness, honestly, were amazing. Christie was phenomenal! Super helpful, and a welcoming smile. My hygienist did a great job of explaining and paying attention to me throughout my cleaning. Dr. Smith was kind, efficient, and direct with his approach. He doesn't replace silver fillings unless they need to be. If I could rate this office greater than 5 stars I would.

Dr. Smith and his staff is so amazing anytime I am in the office. He is affordable and genuinely cares about his patients which is so important! I fell and knocked my tooth out on a Sunday morning and I went to an emergency dentist who was absolutely awful and wanting to upcharge me hundreds more for the procedure. I called Dr. Smith's office, left them a message and got a response back 2 hrs later and he came in to do the root canal and crown right after church. It is so nice knowing that their are dentists that genuinely care about their patients!

I have always been very nervous with my teeth and when I get work done I am always tense and nervous, especially when it came to getting teeth pulled. I was supposed to get 4 teeth pulled and I went to a different dentist and they could only pull one because it hurt too much. I ended going here and Dr. Smith flawlessly pulled the three other teeth and I felt no pain. This is the only place where I feel calm and comfortable while getting work on my teeth done. Dr. Smith is calm and a delight to talk to. I highly recommend to anyone and any negative reviews must have some grudge against the staff or owner. Best place to get any dental work done.

I got 2 fillings put in one here and one somewhere else. The one I got at the other place fell out I came back to Holladay smiles and had the filling fixed. Two years later now and they still look great

I can not Thank Dr.Smith enough and his staff enough for all they do, they make everything so easy and it was definitely exciting to watch Dr. Smith design my new teeth right in front of me and include me in all the decision making, Today is the first I can honestly ever remember feeling confident when I smile!! Dr.Smith is a Miracle worker so talented! I'm so excited for my new smile and can't wait to show everyone even if we still have a long ways to go until it's all the finished!!

Friendly staff. Very punctual, too. Doctor Smith was very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge. He did great work. Plus, I like that they let you watch Netflix while they work on you. :)

They were able to get me in quickly and are extremely professional & kind! Dr Smith can give a shot without hurting you and has a TV and head phones provided for distraction. I have had No issues with them billing my insurance correctly. The office staff are quick to greet you and to get you checked in for your appt. **I Highly recommended this dental office! You will be taken care of well!

I highly recommend Holliday Smiles to everyone. Dr. Smith and the rest of their Staff are awesome. They are accommodating and efficient. I always have a great experience when I come to their clinic. Had my crown and root canal by Dr. Smith done perfectly . Their new office is really nice and high tech .

Our Daughter (8yr) Fell and broke her front teeth! It was bad!! I called the Office explained the situation. It happened to be a day off for Dr Smith. The sweet lady had me send picture texts and reassured me that if it was needed he would come in. I sent off those pictures and received a call back within five minutes from Dr. Smith telling me I'll be there in 45 minutes. As a mom that was the most reassuring thing I had heard. I knew right then he could and would fix her teeth. Not to mention my little lady was in so much pain but when she was in the chair she was all smiles. Dr Smith and his staff fixed her teeth and made a horrible situation turn out so good! I would give Holladay smiles a million stars if I could!!! Thank you
