Dr. Green graduated from IU Dental School in 1972. He enlisted in the US Army Dental Corps while in school and was stationed in Okinawa for 3 years just missing Vietnam War by one month. Dr. Green taught at IU Dental school from 1975 to 1980 while also practicing evenings in Brownsburg. In 1980 he started his practice full time in Frankfort and performed traditional dentistry until 1993 when a patient, Wayne Cox, showed him the dangers of mercury. Thus he began his present day mercury free-mercury safe practice, which has evolved into today's biological/holistic care with alternative and biocompatible services as a replacement for contemporary dental care.
Dr. Green is trained andcertified by the IAOMTin proper removal techniques of amalgam fillings. He is opposed to water fluoridation and routine treatment of children with topical fluoride. Dr. Green also believes root canals can have far-reaching health effects upon the body and must be monitored closely if you have one; if you have a choice, don't get a root canal. Periodontal care is observed closely for this same reason. His approach has always been biological with an emphasis on how the mouth relates to the whole body. Dr. Green is also a licensed acupuncturist so he understands the body's 'chi' pathways and effects that toxic materials can have on whole body health.
Dr. Green has been treating temporomandibular joint problems since 1990.Dr. Green and Dr. Lauhave developed a highly successful system for those who suffer from different kinds of craniomandibular disorders.Theirpatients often tellthem how life altering it is to finally be pain free. Treatment for TMJ problems are nowperformed at Dr. Laus Pendleton office.
In the first 2 years I have worked with Dr. Green, I have acquired my dental radiology license, learned to assist, and many things about how our teeth act as circuit breakers for the energy flowing through our body, and thus they can lead to chronic disease in other organ systems. I enjoy my job very much and look forward to learning more each day.
Our practice has a chemical free environment. Not only are your cleanings fluoride free but we also have other great procedures I routinely use for periodontal therapy: such as ozone, categorizing bacteria with a microscope, and waterpiking with povidone-iodine. X-rays are taken as safely as possible and kept at a minimum. Everything I use is safe to ingest. We consider the whole body, not just the teeth.

Wouldn't go anywhere else. I pray Dr. Green never retires--I don't know what I'll do without him. He is a wealth of information on the health of the human body (not just your teeth) and knows it's all connected!

Dr Green replaced all 17 of my mercury fillings. The impact on my health was dramatic and immediate. Overnight, I felt my persistent brain fog and debilitating fatigue lifted. Withing a few weeks, I noticed that I no longer had my non-specific fibromyalgia pain. This was probably the BEST health decision I have ever made. Have a fear of dentists, like many, and usually end up leaving a visit with intense jaw pain from mouth being propped open for the time it takes to get the dental work done; however!!!!, I left a two hour appointment due to some mercury fillings that needed replaced, with not only no jaw pain, but had an amazing experience and recommend them to EVERYONE!!!! Thank you, Dr Green and amazing staff!!!!!!

Dr. Wiley Green and staff are wonderful. I began driving to Frankfort in 2007 to have all the amalgams ( mercury fillings) removed from my teeth. This was the best office for that service. The price was reasonable and the office provided every safety precaution possible. I've continued to have my dental work done there (even though it's a 40 min drive for me) because the work is good and the people are caring and attentive. Besides the regular cleanings and x-rays, I've had a tooth implant, fillings and crown work in the last 8 years.
