With a Florida history dating back into the 1800s, Dr. George Edwards and Dr. David Edwards believe in the traditional value of paying close attention to the total health of each patient. You can be sure youre receiving the best care since they stay abreast of the most recent research, advanced techniques and sophisticated equipment.

In 1988; research began to indicate that the health of dental patients was being adversely affected by common, and frequently used, dental materials which later were proven to be toxic. This started our journey to provide dental care which safely removes these toxic materials and replaces with only the most non-toxic and compatible materials available.

We continually stay on top of the latest research because we want to provide you with the very best care. Each year we log countless hours and miles because our promise to you is that the treatment you receive today will be based on the very latest research.

As you probably know, research has shown that the health of your teeth is a precursor to your overall health. This is the reason we chose Holistic Dental Health to identify who we are. We work hand in hand with your Physician because we are committed to ensuring that everything possible is done to maintain the healthiest you possible.

I have no idea how this practice keeps patients honestly. The office manager is beyond rude. Told me they could not get me in for 6 months, even though I was having a health crisis & needed treatment. So, while I "waited" for them to FIT me in, I went to another holistic dentist & had a root canal extraction performed with PRF etc. Once Dr. Edwards found out about it he kicked me out of his practice. I was "no-longer-welcome"! Seriously, that's what I was told. Didn't matter that I had a crisis, didn't matter that it was HIS fault I couldn't be seen, and the manager had the audacity to say I was "accusing" them bc they said they couldn't see me for 6 months! All I actually said was, "You told me you didn't have an opening for 6 months. My ND wanted this taken care of ASAP." She started talking over me & bullying me! It felt like an argument with a crazy person! I've heard from a few other people who went here that they had similar issues.

Don't settle for this kind of sloppy care. Also very disappointed. Unhappy. I saw Dr Edwards for cavitation surgery. I was practiced on by a new inexperienced staff member who attempted twice to draw blood, I finally requested she get someone who knew how to do it. Then I had another young staff member doing the dental block. Seriously I felt like the other patient, like I was in a highschool training program. Then during the surgery his young tech had something holding my mouth open to the side & even though I was numb I could feel it cutting the corner of my mouth. I mentioned it 3 separate times & she went right back to doing it again. Yes my mouth had a huge cut right smack in the corner. Took 3 weeks to heal. During the procedure he would explain things to his "girls" but not check on me. I don't know what is going on there. Training school? I most certainly did not appreciate it. I don't know if he is just incapable of keeping mature staff or if he enjoys having this young entourage. I won't be back. I don't recommend you go either. A lot of dentists are employing PRF these days. They may not yet use ozone or identify as "holistic" but they're coming up to speed. Check around, you might be pleasantly surprised that this office no longer holds a corner on the market! Get the kind of compassionate care that you deserve! Don't settle for this kind of sloppy care.

I received a stage 4 cancer diagnosis, but was told I could not begin chemo until I had all dental work done. I needed a root canal removed. Dr. Edwards squeezed me in at the end of the day the same day I called - even though he needed to be on a flight to a conference, to ensure I had it done as soon as possible so I could begin treatment. He really cares, goes above and beyond, and does excellent work. I couldn't recommend this office more. They are all kind, courteous, caring, and helpful.

I LOVE THIS OFFICE! Dr. Edwards is so kind and compassionate and explained everything to me so well. I love the approach of this office. They are great at educating patients on the reasons for each procedure and are very conservative with their interventions, meaning they won't make you get fillings or caps unless you really truly need them. I appreciate this. Thank you to the whole team for caring for me and my teeth so wonderfully! Also, you can't beat the view from the dental chair!!!

I was referred to Dr. Edwards by my Lyme doctor. He is by far the best dentist I have been to. His knowledge and expertise about detailed procedures needed for Lyme and chronic disease patients exceeds other dentists. I had a very thorough teeth cleaning done by a great hygienist. Heather and the other office staff were extremely professional and efficient. They were most helpful in accommodating my schedule. Dr. Edwards is now my new dentist. You cannot get this type of superb treatment at your average dentist - I know, I've tried!

I moved from Europe to FL in 2016 and it took me a year to find a good dentist. Dr. Edwards practice met all my expectations - thorough first visit where they got all of my information, x-rays, gum condition, complete health assessment and evaluation. Every cleaning visit, every appointment I have had last 3 years has been wonderful experience, service is great, doctor and dental hygienists are knowledgeable and have been able to answer any questions, help with suggestions on better dental hygene products. Staff is friendly and all my interactions both in person and on phone have felt like I'm a good, well liked friend, always welcoming and caring attitude.

I have been very impressed with this practice for the more than 13 years I've been going there. They do everything right!! Whenever I've had an issue, they've gotten me in right away. Dr. Edwards and his staff are kind and caring. I love my conversations with them each visit. I've learned as much about supplements for my health as I have about my teeth. LOL. I've read a couple of negative reviews and obviously those people were not kind in their approach because they are not describing the office accurately! I wouldn't go or trust anyone else! Thank you Dr. Edwards and staff!!

Honestly this place is incredible! As a very holistic family, it is very challenging to find dental places that are aligned with our beliefs + knowledge around avoiding unnecessary treatments + chemicals but when we found Dr Edwards office this all changed! From the first time we went, everyone in the office is so friendly and comforting and KNOWLEDGEABLE and it was a breath of fresh air! Dr Edwards is truly caring and listens to you and your concerns + also only recommends treatments that are necessary. Having kids myself and going here for our 3rd opinion for my daughter since the other practitioners wanted to put her under anesthesia which I was NOT ok with, not only was his approach comforting, but he offered alternatives that were the least invasive, most comforting + truly the best solution for her overall health+ wellness (the way healthcare should be). My daughter has been here 2 times already and literally told me she loves this dentist so much- talk about an amazing team here! THANK YOU ALL for everything you do- we appreciate you and now the whole family will be going here even if we have to drive over 2 hours each time- it's worth it!! :-)

I was impressed with my first visit and evaluation. The write up was to do the right side of my mouth for $2700 (first day) and the left for $3300 (second day) There were some follow up visits and the total was about $9000. I arrived for the first day of work. The lake is incredible from the office and I was ready for a good experience. I was given two injections, which were mildly uncomfortable. There was little conversation. The girl was fairly new and it was apparent in the way she handled the equipment, etc. About 20 minutes later, Dr. Edwards began to work. He spoke with the assistant primarily and very little explanation to me. He did not ever check that I was doing ok. The girl hung over my chair, with her hands near my face. I was a high school teacher and she came across as a high school student watching him work, forgetting about me being there. After a lot of drilling, etc. the pain became intense. I was very nervous and up tight. I did not want another shot and I kept feeling that he would finish soon...or I'd have no tooth left. I went to pay and the bill was $3300....He had switched the day to begin with the more expensive work and did not tell me. I can only figure that money drove that decision. I went home and my left upper lip / mouth was swollen like someone hit me. I broke out in massive hives. I did not want to return, but knew I needed to finish up and get the crown. I anticipated that visit to be ok. I returned apprehensively....hoping to have a better experience. Again, the shots and longer wait time. I was worried the numbing was going away, but thought less work needed to be done. He got the temporary cap off and began to drill again! He drilled and drilled and drilled. There has to be very little tooth left there. Maybe it was necessary or maybe it wasnt. It was extremely painful again! Finally, he put the permenant cap on. He did spend time to ensure that the bite was ok. All seems to be ok, though there is a little sensitivity on one side when I floss ...but I pray all is fine. I have NEVER been through such a painful and expensive dental experience. I have never been around such unprofessional dental assistant. I understand that she was new, but her social skills were lacking to begin with; absolutely nothing to do do with what she learned in dental school. Totally disappointed with this experience. Glad it is behind me and I go on to look for a knowlegable, sensitive, healthy dentist.

A piece of amalgam fell out of my molar. I wanted to replace it with something less lethal. Despite several emails, I was never given even a ballpark of what it would cost! $450 just to say hello, and a mandatory $300 cleaning for any procedure. Disgusting money grabbing practices. Your removal methods may be "holistic", but your business practices are allopathic all the way. Shame on you.

Very disappointed. They came on recommendation from someone I respect who is a client. Website bills themselves as compassionate care. When the new patient coordinator ended up on the phone with me to answer questions I found her to be arrogant, anything but compassionate, in her responses. I have a medical/personal condition that affects any dental treatment I seek. I requested to meet with or speak by phone to one of the dentists prior to an actual appointment - to share the personal medical issue and vet whether they would be the right fit for me. I was told they are too busy to get on the phone and I would need to tell her and she would relate it to the dentist. When I said i was not comfortable with that (and how other dentists have been obliging of my request) she gave her curt response about how that was my choice. She was neither kind nor compassionate. They want close to $500 for a new patient exam but can't be bothered to speak to one of us by phone to be vetted.
