Dr. Richard H. Chanin is a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry. Upon graduation, he served our country as a Captain in the US Air Force Dental Corps. After returning to civilian life he opened his Holbrook dental practice in 1976, serving the community of Suffolk County since.
Dr. Chanin is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Suffolk County Dental Association and the Academy of Sports Medicine. He is proud to be listed in the GUIDE TO AMERICA'S TOP DENTISTS. Dr. Chanin continues to keep up to date with the latest advances in dental research byattending continuing education courses. This year Dr. Chanin was presented with the prestigious award for completing 500 hours of continuing education.
Dr. Greg B. Cinski is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he was awarded membership in the Matthew Cryer Honor Society and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Society. After graduation he completed a general practice residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown, PA. He now provides dental care to the community of Suffolk County including Patchogue, Lake Ronkonkoma, and the surrounding areas as a dentist at Holbrook Smiles.
Dr. Cinski is a member of the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the Suffolk County Dental Society. He also serves as a regional interviewer for the Admissions Department of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Cinski maintains a strong commitment to continuing education in order to insure that his patients are offered all that modern dentistry has to offer.

I have been here 3 times already, and the staff it always polite and competent. Dr. Cinski is fantastic and makes sure your never in pain. It's obviously his top priority making sure the patients are comfortable. I have been to many dental practices in my life and this has been the best one BY FAR. I have been here 3 times already, and the staff it always polite and competent. Dr. Cinski is fantastic and makes sure your never in pain. This dental office is so pleasant and supportive, that it literally makes going to the Dentist a positive experience. The staff go out of their way to accommodate you. My first experience five years ago was with Dr. Chanin. I was undergoing cancer treatment and had developed an ache that could have been a filled sinus...or an abscess. My dentist of 20 years had relocated and I needed someone closer. Dr. Chanin quickly X-rayed my mouth and pointed out the need for an antihistamine. The ache came from a filled sinus. I immediately became a patient. Several years later, I had a filling break at a Christmas breakfast at work 40 miles away. The staff were about to go on their own holiday lunch but told me to come in immediately and Dr. Cinski refilled the tooth. Their hygienist, Heather, is highly informative and does a scrupulous job on maintaining my mouth. All the staff are pleasant and appear to have excellent working relationships with each other unlike those you see in most offices that interact with the public. This is truly a "Five Star" experience!

I love Dr Chanin. He is the most talented dentist that I have ever gone to.. Dr Chanin brought back my smile.. I used to have anxiety when I would sit in a dentist chair but not anymore.. Dr Chanin has made me feel very comfortable and relaxed.. Dr Cinski is great too both my boys go to him..

I went to this Dentist last night and I have to say, I had a wonderful experience. Over the course of my life, I have never truly been to a doctor's office where EVERY EMPLOYEE was kind, patient, and pleasant. This place has that. And the Dental experience itself was comprehensive, technologically relevant, and comfortable. I am glad I found this place.

The dentists and staff are wonderful. I have been going there for years. My son had an emergency was he was younger and Dr. Cinski was so great with him and saved his teeth and made my son feel so comfortable. I highly recommend them.

Pleasant, professional staff. The longest I've had to wait has been about 10 minutes. Once in the chair, everything is done quickly and is explained thoroughly. Dr. Chanin is cordial and funny and takes an interest in you. And the work he has done on my teeth has been nothing less than exceptional. How many doctors can work on two cracked teeth and not use anything for pain, but yet you feel nothing. You never seem rushed or like you are number. I'm probably one of the only people in the world that will say that I love going to the dentist. Also, I love the text message verification for appointments. If you ever forget that you have an appointment, you receive a text two days prior where you have to confirm the appointment.

My first visit with Dr. Chanin was an emergency visit to cement a bridge that fell out. I was very pleased that he took me right away in his schedule and restored my bridge into my mouth. Pending work to be done to restore my bridge permanently. All personnel were very professional and made me feel comfortable. He explained to me that saving my existing teeth is most beneficial to my health. He is a top dentist and would highly recommend him. Patient described above is my husband Paul B.
