Kenny Morris moved to Wilmington in 1968 with his family. Both his mother and father were healthcare providers. His father Kenny Morris, Sr. helped start Delaney Radiology and his mother was a nurse until she started to raise her family. As a child Kenny was a Boy Scout and continued on to receive the achievement of Eagle Scout in 1981 for Troop 13. Consequently his son Kenny Morris, III would receive this very high honor himself with the same troop in 2010.
Kenny graduated from Hoggard High School in 1982 and attended University of North Carolina. There he received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in 1986 and then his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1990. After graduation Dr. Morris was quick to return to Wilmington to become as associate with Dr. Clayton Smith while he began construction on his current office. The doors to his very own, newly constructed practice opened in May of 1991. Here Dr. Morris practiced dentistry solo along with his staff until his wife Vicki joined him in 1996. Both doctors have worked together over the years to serve their patients providing exceptional dental care.
Today, and as a child, Dr. Kenny has been an active member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) located on Oleander Drive. He started our running 5K races and has progressed to the point that he has run numerous half marathons. And no, there are not any aspirations to run a marathon.
In his free time Dr. Morris enjoys deer hunting and running. Although he enjoys many outdoor activities his true passion is for offshore fishing in the Gulf Stream, both out of Wrightsville Beach and Hatteras Village, in the Outer Banks. Another true love of Dr. Morris is Disney World. He and his family are Disney Vacation Club Members allowing them to travel to the Happiest Place on Earth over two dozen times and counting. He is also no stranger to the Disney Cruise line, with several voyages under his belt.
Dr. John Hoggard is a proud native of North Carolina and grew up in Greenville, NC. He attended Arendell Parrott Academy and then went to Rhodes College in Memphis, TN where he obtained a B.S. in Biology and played football. After pursuing a Masters degree, he graduated from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine where he received an Endodontic Achievement Award. Dr. Hoggard has spent the last 5 years in private practice in Greenville gaining extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, prosthodontics, and complex restorative dentistry cases.
Dr. Hoggard has a passion for treating complex cases and finds it extremely fulfilling to see the transformation of a patients smile and the huge impact it has on their life and well-being. His numerous hours of continuing education are a testament to his dedication to providing the most up-to-date, advanced, and individualized care to every patient. Dr. Hoggard has completed numerous programs in advanced dental training. Annually he attends a week-long training at the world-famous Kois Center. He is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and has completed numerous courses focusing on occlusion, treatment planning, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, endodontics, oral surgery, and implants.
When Dr. Hoggard is away from the office, you will find him enjoying time with his wife engaging in many outdoor activities. He shares a love of all things fishing, hunting, surfing, kiteboarding, and boating. He is excited to become a father to a baby girl in May.

Dr. Hoggard and Jillian were the best each were caring and Knowledgable as well as All of the front desk staff. Everyone was willing to go tthe extra mile to make me the patient feel comfortable and included in how to handle my oral health care. Over all the expeirence was relaxing .The view inside the room,and the tv showed some visually great outdoor scenes which made me relax that much more. Awesome!

I had a great experience. I felt like part of a family. I didn't want to leave. My check up was very thorough an informative. I found out about implants and bridges something I had been wanting to know about. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Very great bedside manner. Takes his time with patients. Appears to know his field very well. Looking forward to continuing as a patient with him, although disappointed Dr. Kenny Morris is no longer practicing.

This is the best dentist practice in Wilmington, NC hands down! Always friendly, fast and elite service when going here...And Kelly A. is the BEST dental hygienist on this side of heaven. She's always thorough and keeps a smile on her face each and every time. I've been going here for 20+ years and I wouldn't change one thing about it! It's always a pleasure when visiting.

Shannon was really great with my insurance and scheduling! I had a very nice lady, Diana clean my teeth and she did an AMAZING job. Dr. Hoggard was really well with explaining when I had questions and was overall a very good environment! I will be back :)

I've been using them for several years, and have always been very pleased with their service. The staff all have smiles on their faces, and are always friendly and personable. Kelly is my hygienist, and actually makes my dentist appointments something I can look forward to!

I have been going to Morris&Morris since I was 8 years old. I have always enjoyed the staff. Even when I have had other procedures besides my regular cleaning, they are very reassuring and comforting. Kelly has cleaned my teeth since I started going. She is gentle and very thorough. 14 years with this Denistry and I still love them.

I recently moved to Wilmington, NC with my wife and we were both in need of a new dentist. We were lucky enough to find Hoggard and Morris. I can't say enough good things about this place. Every staff member was very friendly and great to work with. Each time I went I worked with Sheila and she did a great job cleaning and taking care of my teeth and I will recommend this place to anyone because of the impression she made. My wife had an equally pleasant experience here and we are thankful for everyone who works there. Great dentist, great people.
