Hofmeister Family Dentistry specializes in treating patients like family. We take pride in taking care of everyone that comes to our practice and we're humbled by the trust our patients have in the work we do. We know that taking care of your teeth is hard. And we want to help each and every one of our patients get the best results possible.
Dr. Mark Hofmeister established the practice in 1987 after plying his trade in the US Navy. He grew the business by being there for his patients through thick and thin and was able to build lasting relationships with individuals and families. After 30+ years of service, Dr. Mark sold the practice to his daughter, Jamie Hofmeister. Dr. Jamie embodies the same family-oriented principles Dr. Mark established back in 1987. And we're excited to carry that tradition forward.
Jamie Hofmeister owns Hofmeister Family Dentistry. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Illinois Chicago. And she completed a residency at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. In addition to practicing dentistry, Jamie teaches at the University of Illinois Chicago. She is the mother of Caleb and Charlie, and daughter to Mark and Jan. Jamie loves true crime stories, horsing around with her two boys, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
Rob Snell is married to Jamie Hofmeister. He helps run the dental practice with Jamie. Rob graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Industrial Engineering. In his spare time, he works at Blue Cross Blue Shield helping people buy and use health insurance. Rob loves golf, physics, and a good joke.
Flora is our all-star hygienist whos been practicing for 34 years (17 of which have been with Hofmeister Family Dentistry ). Her loyal fanbase comes to the office for witty banter and stays for competitive hygiene battles between family members. Shes passionate about dental hygiene and is dedicated to helping her patients achieve the best possible outcome. Flora is a mother, wife, grandmother, and part-time comedian always happy to share a laugh.
Debbie is the first voice you hear when you come into the office. Shes been in the dental field for over 30 years and part of our family for the past 3. She lives in Bartlett and is a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loves bowling, spending time with her girlfriends, and is the only person in the world that can challenge Dr. Jamies claim to worlds biggest Bachelor Franchise fan.

We've gone to Dr Mark Hofmeister for years! Loved him! Now we go to Dr Jamie Hofmeister and love her just as much if not more. I have nerve damage in my face and she is so gentle and caring! I love this dental office. Thank you for always caring for us!!!

From the instant you walk in the door and meet Rob, through the entire experience, everyone and everything is as close to perfect as any experience with a dentist and a dentist's office can be. They are friendly. They care about your comfort (both mental and physical). Dr. Jamie explains what she is doing (I imagine this is particularly helpful if you're afraid of the dentist, which I am not). My first experience with Dr. Jamie was a cleaning, followed by a crown, which, for various reasons (COVID protocols, change of insurance, insurance requirements, old dentist dropping my insurance) had been delayed. From the cleaning through the crown was three months, which, after waiting at least three years to get it done elsewhere (as noted above), was amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Jamie, this practice and Rob, who I'd love to clone. I love talking to him.

Dr. Jamie's personalized approach and integrity is at the front of what makes her practice so unique and different from other Dentist. Her practice has a very "family feel" while accompanied by a high level of empathy, which made my dental procedure feel easy and comfortable.

My endodontist recommended Dr. Mark Hofmeister to finish treatment (sealing) a tooth that had an infected root canal (originally treated 8 years ago). I greatly appreciated Dr. Hofmeister's conservative approach in sealing my existing crown instead of replacing it! Since then, Dr. Mark Hofmeister retired and his daughter, Jamie, is now my primary dentist. I couldn't be happier to have found Hofmeister Family Dentistry! Flora, the hygenist who cleaned my teeth after a 2 year hiatus due primarily to Covid-19, was very thorough and educational about the best way to care for my teeth and gums. I actually enjoyed having my teeth cleaned, something I've never been able to say before! The warm atmosphere, kind staff and their conservative approach to my issues will keep me coming back as well as referring Dr. Jamie to friends and family.

I have had great experiences with Dr. Hofmeister. Staff is pleasant and understood when I had to change my appointment. They took the time to get to know me. The cleaning was thorough and not unpleasant. Going to the dentist isn't my favorite thing to do, but Dr. Hofmeister and the staff make it as pleasant as possible.

I could not be any happier with Dr Jamie and Flora. I miss Dr Mark in his retirement. But very happy that Dr Jamie took on the practice. She is fantastic Dr. Look ford to seeing Flora to enjoy our laugh. I look forward to going to the dentist every 6 months. 5 stars are not enough.

I have worked in the dental field for 35+ years and would highly recommend Dr. Hofmeister. She is currently taking care of my father in-law. I observed as she explained his dental health and options of treatment with him. She takes care of the dental work that is needed and does not conjure work that is not necessary. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great office dynamic. They accept an array of dental plans. If you are looking for a dentist who provides quality dental health care and really cares about her patients then contact her office. Our family has and yours should also.

From the moment you check in they make you feel cared about. Every aspect from the check in process to your dental care Dr. Jamie and Maureen the hygienist are so knowledgeable and professional giving you excellent care. I have never had a dental experience like this !!!

I have been a patient at Hofmeister Family Dentistry for 35 years. I have referred family and friends and they are now patients as well. The staff is super friendly and understanding. I love Flora, and this time I had Maureen she did a great job. Dr. Jamie is more than nice, she really cares about her patients and her work. My husband had an emergency and she got him all the care he needed and followed up with him several times. Rob is also so competent and helpful. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

The minute I walked into the office I was greeted happily by Rob (Dr. Jamie's husband) with a smile! I immediately felt calmer and less anxious. Her hygienists were kind and calming as well and I felt at ease. When Dr. Jamie came in the room I was relaxed and we shared some fun stories from both of our families. My cleaning went very well. Since the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and attended to. Rob provides outstanding customer service. Flora was my hygienist and did a phenomenal job of explaining my oral health. She is patient and listens to any concerns. Her positivity is dynamic and it is evident she enjoys what she does. Dr. Hofmeister is very approachable, knowledgeable, patient and thorough as well. I began coming to this office a year ago after having the same dentist for over 20 years. I was hesitant in making the switch, but Hofmeister Family Dentistry did not disappoint. My husband and daughter also switched and feel the same way. If more stars were available I would rate them higher! I highly recommend Hofmeister Family Dentistry.
