You will find our entire staff works hard to make your visit to our office relaxing and to relieve any uneasiness you may feel about coming to the dentist. We want to make you comfortable. Headphones with your favorite music, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and blankets are available if you choose.
Dental disease such as gum disease can be controlled and in most cases prevented, providing you with beautiful, healthy, strong and functional teeth for life. We believe in the importance of regular preventative dental care, and will advise you when it is time for your preventative care visit.
Dr. Hoffman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Washington County Dental Society. Dr. Hoffman has been recognized as one of the Top Dentists in the Portland area every year since 2013! He actively pursues continuing education and is involved in a variety of study clubs.
Dr. Hoffman and his wife Susan have three children: Parker, Sydney and Riley. In his free time he enjoys skiing, golfing and spending time with his family. In the summer, you can find him cheering on the Hillsboro Hops Baseball Team, and frequenting the Portland Blazer games in the winter. When Dr. Hoffman is not on the green or cheering on a sports team, he enjoys utilizing his pilots license to explore the skies.
Dr. Sydney believes in compassionate and comprehensive dental care. She prioritizes her patients' unique needs and desires in order to create an individualized treatment plan for each patient. She is passionate about patient education and prevention. Dr. Sydney looks forward to the opportunity to establish long-lasting relationships with her patients, while providing them with confident smiles and the best quality of care possible.
In her free time, Dr. Sydney enjoys running, skiing, and backpacking. Dr. Sydney has completed 3 marathons and looks forward to her yearly ski trip with her dad and 2 brothers. When she is not spending time outdoors, you can find her reading a book and cuddling with her cat, Pip.
Katie our Patient Care Coordinator grew up in Hillsboro, but is now is living life out in the country! She has been in the dental field since 2015, and joined our dental team in 2017! You will find her smiling face and happy demeanor at the front desk when you walk in. She loves taking care of our patients, and ensures that they leave us with a smile! Katie is a lifelong beaver fan and OSU graduate! She enjoys camping and fishing with her husband, Fletcher. When they arent outdoors, you can find them at home, hosting game night with close friends!
Cara started off her career in the dental field as a Dental Assistant in 2009. She went on to receive her degree in Dental Hygiene through Pacific University in 2017, and joined Hoffman Dental that same year! She is an outstanding hygienist, and loves providing patients with quality care. Cara enjoys spending time with her husband, Drew and their two doodles: Piper and Huck. They have recently taken up a love for wine tasting and have a goal in life to one day visit every National Park.
Hannah received her degree in Dental Hygiene studies from Pacific University in Hillsboro Oregon in 2018. Growing up locally, she has always had a passion for giving back to her community members and loves all the Pacific Northwest has to offer. As a hygienist, she strives to always have her patients be a participant in their dental care, rather than simply a recipient of it. With this in mind, Hannah has always appreciated having the opportunity to educate her patients and helping them learn how best to care for their teeth and gums. Outside of work, she enjoys kayaking, camping, and attending local concerts as well as spending time with her family.
Susan received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Lane Community College in 1987 and has been with Hoffman Dental since 1989! Susan will always greet you with a smile, and treat you like family. She is a native Oregonian who loves traveling the world and discovering new places and cultures. When Susan isnt traveling, she loves to spend time with her husband, Dr. Hoffman, and their adult children in Sunriver, Oregon.
Tiffany received her degree in dental assisting from Portland Community College in 1990. She also joined the Hoffman Dental team that very same year! Tiffany is a vital part of our practice. She is an excellently skilled dental assistant, as well as a friendly face to our patients. Tiffany grew up here in Hillsboro, and enjoys spending time with her son, Tyson and their three dogs: Thor, Winston and Luna. She loves shopping and is passionate about interior design. One day you may find Tiffany fulfilling her lifelong dream of owning a small piece of land, while taking care of her favorite animal, a Clydesdale.
Savannah is a New York native that moved to Oregon to begin her new adventure! She has been a dental assistant since 2016, and joined our office in 2021. Savannah enjoys getting to know our patients and making their dental experience a great one. She aspires to continue her dental career in the future as a dental hygienist. She loves her two kitties, Salem and Luna, and traveling to new places.

Dr. Sydney Hoffman is the best dentist I have ever had - considerate, helpful, and relatable. I just had a dental emergency and Dr. Sydney and her team helped me the same day. Being a 26 year old, its great to have a Dentist who is younger; it makes that dentist-chair-small-talk so much more enjoyable. Moving my dental care over to Dr. Sydney and her team this year was the best decision I've made for my teeth in a long time. I'd give a 6th star on this review if Google would allow it!

Dr. Hoffman came highly recommend to me by Dr be of his current patients. I had been terrified of the dentist and had gone 16 years without routine care because of it. As I now cannot avoid dental work there is no one else I'd feel more comfortable with! He was so kind, worked out a wonderful scenario and is working with me to accomplish all of my goals! While I'm still nervous to get the work done I feel I am in the best hands!

As always I find Doctors Hoffman are both excellent dentists. Their Gentle touch and good listening skills make it a pleasure to visit the dentist. Cara is a caring, patient, and thorough hygienist who always leaves with a bright smile. The staff a perfect fit for me and my wife. It has been so great being their patient. Anthony Hoffman has taken care of my dental care and my little sisters dental care since we were 13 years old. I'm almost 30 now. He is by far the best dentist in Oregon. His team is knowledgeable, caring, soft handed and professional. Although I don't go there any longer due to insurance changing, I recommended him 100% He is just THE BEST OF THE BEST 10/10

Tony Hoffman and his staff are the best. I've had many dentists over the years. I like Tony's conservative approach--don't fix it unless it needs fixing. Not all dentists are like that. I've had him for more than 10 years now. His work sticks, not needing to be redone. His referrals are excellent and good value. I don't have insurance and he doesn't overcharge as other dentists I've been to have done. The attention to detail of his hygienists is great and their advice is thoughtful and focused on improving my dental health. They are always ready for me on time. I never have to wait.
