Dr. Michael Hoffman founded Hoffman Dental Care in November of 1996. Hoffman Dental Care is a comprehensive dental practice that serves over 4,000 patients, primarily in the Metro Detroit area but also has patients that travel as far as a thousand miles for dental services.
Dr. Hoffman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, and the Macomb Dental Society. Dr. Hoffman is a proud alumnus of the University of Detroit Mercy, where he served as the schools Honor Society President, served as a student representative on the MDA Council of Ethics and Peer Review, and finished in the top 8% on the National Board Exam. Dr. Hoffman was chosen from hundreds of applicants to complete the General Practice Residency, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Hoffman has trained with the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics and has completed two residencies in dental implants. He also participates in the dental student mentor program at his alma mater, the University of Detroit Mercy. Dr. Hoffman prides himself on his attention to detail and his drive for the latest technology regarding oral health in relation to overall health.
Dr. Hoffman has earned a black belt in karate and is a long-time supporter of the Special Olympics and veterans affairs. He is the proud father of three amazing children. When Dr. Hoffman is not in the office you can find him in his happy place, the great outdoors.
Dr. Neha Batra, D.D.S., born in Michigan, grew up in Port Huron before attending Kalamazoo College where she obtained her undergraduate degree. Her love for science and art led her to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she completed a general practice residency at the University of Rochester Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York.
In addition to her formal schooling, Dr. Batra is enthusiastic about pursuing continuing education both on a local and a national level. She feels that it is important to keep current with evolving techniques and materials to provide state-of-the-art treatment options for her patients. Dr. Batra loves doing cosmetic dentistry and loves transforming her patients smiles.
Dr. Marcena Gorgaes, D.D.S. was born in Greece and moved to Michigan when she was two years old. She graduated with honors from Wayne State University where she earned her Bachelors in Biological Sciences. She then pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Detroit Mercy. While completing her dental degree, she provided a variety of dental procedures to medically complex patients at Detroit Receiving University Health Center.
Dr. Gorgaes loves providing compassionate and comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry to every age group in the family. She is dedicated to improving and maintaining oral health and general health while developing lasting relationships with patients. She utilizes innovative procedures and incorporates the latest advancements and technology to provide patients the most pleasant dental experience. Dr. Gorgaes is a strong believer in the power of continuing education and is continuously involved in advanced courses in oral surgery, implants, pediatrics, and orthodontics. She is a certified Invisalign provider and a proud member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Macomb District Dental Society.
Dr. Natalie Horn began her career in dentistry as a Dental Hygienist in 1989. She enjoyed dentistry so much that she continued her education and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan in 1997.

Recently moved dentists and my experience has been great. All staff are friendly and nice and I am in the process of getting a crown and it's an easy process. Definitely would recommend Hoffman dental.

Worst experience ever. Although I listed my allergies and adverse reactions, and had two discussions about it with her, Natalie Horn DDS, injected me with the medication that resulted in a very strong negative reaction. I don't trust her for dental care since she cannot adhere to good medical practices that protect the patient.

Worst dentist in Macomb ! Had over 6 crowns done by this clown 4 crowns failed in under 5 years ! Big open margins caused decay to get under crowns . Uses cheap 3d crowns that are rough feeling and terrible color matches!! Please beware .

I just recently switched dentists to Hoffman Dental Care and have never been happier with a decision! I always have terrible anxiety going to the dentist, but Dr. Hoffman and his staff are so welcoming and compassionate. I had a few cavities filled and didn't even need to be numb because he uses a laser! It was incredible and I didn't feel a thing. Highly recommend!

I would like to thank everyone at Hoffman Dental. I needed a crown (my first) and was a bit apprehensive. Everyone there was helpful and I was put at ease by the professionalism and true concern. The crown was made on site and is high quality. The equipment and procedures are state of the art and advanced.I am very happy with Hoffman Dental and will refer this office to those in need. Been coming here since 2016 and absolutely love it! Just had my cleaning done with Jaclyn and she was very engaging and answered all my questions. Has the best flossing technique as well, very gentle. Julia at the front desk was very pleasant to speak with, in regards to updating my information and setting up my appointments. I was able to meet Dr. Horn as well who was fantastic and down to earth from the couple minutes we spoke. Thank you for always making my dental experience fun!

Everyone is so kind and cheerful at 7am. , especially Jackie when she's faced with my teeth. Lol. I can't say enough about Miss Jackie. She is so kind and caring,explains everything in detail, (Not once,but twice) ,very knowledgeable and very compassionate!!! I'm looking forward to the rest of my treatment because of Jackie's wonderful job on my teeth and her great work ethics.

Best Dental Office EVER !! Everyone here is just so nice and helpful. The office is clean & friendly. And the dentist (at least mine) - is SO Amazing. I sometimes get nervous going to the dentist - but no longer feel that way. They are so cool - and they make you feel like you are valued. So glad I found them....WooHoo !

I'm new to the area. My friend recommended this practice to me as she had an outstanding experience. I'm not a fan of going to the dentist in the slightest. I sucked it up and made an appt as I hadn't been in years. I had a WONDERFUL experience! The staff are welcoming. Chairs are comfortable. My hygienist, Amanda, was super friendly and gentle. The dentist was kind/gentle. They offer a welcome bag of goodies upon your initial visit. I'm looking forward to my next visit instead of dreading it. 10/10 recommend! Edit: My oldest is 10. He joined as a new patient this week. Apparently and unfortunately he's developed quite a bit of anxiety for the dental/ortho world. The staff were SO sweet and patient with him. Gave him a stress ball and blanket to try to help calm his nerves. Encouraged him and agreed to pace it slow to prevent future trauma. Outstanding practice and I'm looking forward to the rest of my family joining!!

My husband and I have recently switched dentists and let me tell you, Hoffman Family Dental has provided us above and beyond dental care. Dr. Horn and Dr. Hoffman are passionate about dentistry and it shows in their work! My 3 week old son had to have a lip and tongue tie release done and Dr. Hoffman and his staff were great from start to finish! They did a thorough exam and gave us the informed consent of the procedure and beyond the procedure, that we really needed. Everyone made the experience the best it could be, as we were scared new parents to an infant that needed dental care to be able to eat. I just can't pride and kudos this office enough, all of the staff are welcoming and very pleasant. I highly recommend this dentist to anyone looking! You will not be disappointed!
