Well known for his friendly and compassionate manner, he is passionate about being able to offer his patients the latest dental technologies and techniques. Hoertdoerfer Dentistry is a general and cosmetic dental practice, serving patients from all over the New England area.
Always keeping his patients best interest in mind Dr. Hoertdoerfer proudly offers the latest dental technology to his patients. This includes a CBCT 3D high resolution /low radiation scan and same-day CEREC restorations for porcelain crowns, onlays and veneers. He specializes in the precise design, mill, sinter, glaze, and insertion of a crown within one visit. Dr. Hoertdoerfer also offers Philips Zoom Whitening, an in-office teeth whitening system that gives patients a whiter smile in just 90 minutes. He has extensive experience in implant and denture cases as well as collaborating with the best local oral surgeons in teeth in a day cases.
Dr. Hoertdoerfer is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the International Team for Implantology. He has been the Team Dentist for both the Long Island Lizards Professional Outdoor Lacrosse team, the New York Saints Professional Indoor Lacrosse team and has served as the Cosmetic and Reconstructive Dentist to the Boston Bruins. He creates custom-fitted sport mouth guards for several of the Boston Bruins players, NHL players and members of the USA Olympic Skeleton team.
Dr. Hoertdoerfer is a graduate of S.U.N.Y. Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and later served as an adjunct clinical professor. He completed his General Practice Residency at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens and also graduated from Boston University with a BA majoring in Psychology and minoring in Biology. In his down time, Dr. Hoertdoerfer enjoys spending time with his family, including his two young children, and is a member of a local mens league ice hockey team.

Usually I have no problem, but today I called to make an appt, and they hung up on me. I called again at 2:30p, got a message the office is closed? On the Google Search it says they close at 3:30p.

My 10+ year crown needed help, it popped off. I figured I could see the Dr Hoertdoerfer clean and temporarily glue it back, see him in a week or two and he would replace with new crown.........oh no, they were soooooooo nice and relatable, so they said if I could wait like 1 hour, they could replace my crown with a brand new.one! You betcha sure enough about a total of 1.5 hours I came home with a brand new custom made tooth..... incredible!!! I hadn't been to my regular dentist for 2+years years, now I am a regular here, I already have a.cleaning booked for in April If you're looking for a dentist, check out Dr H

Dr. H Dentistry is awesome! The staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable. The best dental care from routine maintenance to deep cleaning and teeth whitening. Top of the line when it comes to X-ray technology and safety protocol! Best dentist in New England!

My family has been going here since we moved to NH. Very reliable, seasoned staff who all seem to enjoy their work and working here. From dealing with my squirmy kids to responding quickly to my dental emergencies, Hoertdoerfer has done a wonderful job. I honestly look forward going here, seeing familiar faces and all. Hoping Dr. Hoertdoerfer is doing okay since Chara left the Bruins to go play for the Capitals.

I been going here for at least 7 years now. I have had many tooth problems in my life and this is the best dentist I have ever gone to. They are all friendly and never push anything on you. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone.

My former dentist retired recently, and I decided I would check online for the best dentist in the Manchester NH area. Dr. H came right up, and come to find out, he is the official dentist for the Bruins! He must be really good, I thought, and I can honestly say I am absolutely DELIGHTED with Dr. H and his wonderful practice! No detail is overlooked, and the result is one of the best patient experiences I have ever had with any provider anywhere! The waiting area is impeccably decorated and absolutely luxurious. Staff is super friendly and comforting. Mandy, my hygienist, is MAGNIFICENT! As this was my first visit, I was a little apprehensive, but all that vanished within seconds as Mandy made me feel very welcome. As expected, everything everywhere is impeccably clean, with lots of love for The Bruins! Mandy has 2 decades of experience as a dental hygienist, and it really shows. Professionals always make the work look so easy despite everything being harder than it looks. I was a bit overdue for a cleaning, but treated to the best dental cleaning I have ever had in my entire life. This was actually relaxing! My teeth were wondrously clean, and I felt great. Dr. H did an excellent job checking over my teeth, and rocked the black scrubs! Happy to report I am "dentally boring", but I know if that changes, I have a great new dentist I can rely upon. His clinical expertise is off the charts, and I am both happy and relieved. Thank you Dr. H!!! YOU ARE ALL THE VERY BEST!!!

Great dentist and wonderful staff. Dr. Hoertdoerfer takes the time to explain everything that needs to be done so you will not be left in the dark about what is being fixed. What I really like is that he would not do unnecessary work (which happened to me with a different dentist). I trust this dentist. Highly recommend!

Hoertdoerfer Dentistry has been my dentist practice for years now and I think they are awesome! Mandy has been my hygienist since I found them and can't say enough about her! She's the BEST and so caring and compassionate! Although, I don't look forward to dentist visits, the practice makes my experience that best I could hope for. Thankful I found them!
