I became enamored with dentistry as a young child. My father, Dr. Milton Hodosh, was a prominent dentist, as well as a leading researcher and inventor in the dental field. As I matured, I learned about the role oral health plays in a persons overall wellbeing physically and emotionally and how improving dental health could have a lasting impact on an individuals quality of life.

It is amazing to have the opportunity, every day, to establish and nourish lasting friendships through my profession. Working with a diverse community, and hearing individuals stories and learning from their experiences, expands my life: I am a better person, and dentist, because people share insights with me!

My desire is for each person to know: I listen without judgment; care about who they are, what they need, and what they want; and will always put their health, comfort, and wellbeing at the forefront of all I do.

Dental school was rigorous and challenging. It gave me a foundational understanding of oral health, as well as skills to address general dental issues. I also learned that dentistry is a constantly advancing field.

Ongoing research leads to innovative technologies and materials, improving diagnostics,procedures, and outcomes. It is crucial I stay at the forefront of the latest developments, seeking improved methods and technology, in order to provide the ideal care,experience, and results.

It is also critical for me, I believe, to constantly expand my knowledge and skills, in order to offer a wider range of services. This belief led me to complete the Brookdale Hospital Implant Maxi Course. This advanced training in dental implants, including surgery and restorative techniques, allows me to better serve our patients.

I grew up in Providence and have been a Rhode Island resident my whole life. When Im not in the office, I prioritize time with my children and enjoy their various interests and activities. I also value quality time with friends and enjoy fishing and skiing.

Dentistry is a way to help people lead healthier, happier, more enjoyable lives. Whether Im providing a checkup, brightening a smile, relieving pain, or restoring function, my focus is always on what is right for the individual: I want them to have a worry-free experience and be pleased with the results.

I appreciate how every procedure is a combination of art, science, and personal connection. The conversations patients and I have, prior to designing their treatment, are key to providing optimal care. Learning a persons needs and desires allows me to come up with different treatment options that will meet their expectations and provide the best results.

I especially enjoy educating people on their oral health, explaining whats happening in their mouth and how we can address the situation. In those exchanges I also talk about the connection between oral and overall health, and discuss changes the individual can make to improve their wellbeing and their smile.

I completed by Bachelor of Science in Chemistry in 2010, at Carnegie Mellon University. I then attended Columbia University, where I was awarded my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and a Master of Arts in Science and Dental Education in 2010.

In addition to being in private practice at Hodosh Dental Associates, I am currently attending Harvard University. There I am pursuing an MMSc in Oral Biology and Certificate in Prosthodontics; I expect to complete these by the end of 2020.

Continuing education is part of my commitment to my profession, my patients, and myself. I want to stay at the forefront of the newest innovations and latest research, so I provide patients the best care possible through evidence-based dentistry.

I am a member of the American Dental Association and the American College of Prosthodontists. These organizations offer numerous opportunities to broaden my skills and deepen my understanding of the science and methodologies of dentistry.

I grew up in New York City and now live in Federal Hill, Providence with my wife were recently married and our cat and dog. If Im not in the office, or studying an oral healthcare journal, I enjoy trying new restaurants, working out at the gym, snowboarding, and reading.

I like making our patients happy and pleased with their smiles! I share that with the doctors and my coworkers: everyone is friendly, caring, and devoted to helping people develop healthy smiles they love!

I enjoy helping people and making them feel confident in their smiles. Our patients are like family to me and I want them to be happy! Our doctors truly care about our patients, too, as does the team. We provide dental care that helps our friends enjoy happier, healthier lives!

When Im not caring for smiles, Im usually found with my two children, who are very active in sports. We also have two cats, Toby and Benji, whom I think of as my babies. I love crocheting and traveling; every year I go to California to visit my family.

I love interacting with my patients and building a rapport with them over the years. We start as new friends and soon they feel like family! That is the same for the doctors and my teammates. We all give our patients the best possible dental experience and healthy smiles!

My family is everything to me. I am happily married to my best friend and we have a little one on the way. Our dog, Amis, keeps us laughing and quite entertained. I love to travel and especially enjoy spending time by the ocean.
