Dr. Chad Capps attended Texas A&M University in College Station, and received a Bachelor of Science. He continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. After dental school, Dr. Capps joined a general practice in Richardson, TX. He spent several years in practice, with a focus on aesthetic and restorative dentistry, before deciding to return to Baylor for his residency in orthodontics. During his residency, Dr. Capps obtained a Master of Science as well as a certificate in orthodontics.

Dr. Capps is actively involved in his profession and has a passion for advancing the practice of orthodontics. He was honored in 2011 as the New Dentist of the Year, an award given by his peers in the Dallas County Dental Society. He also won an international award and was recognized at the Orthodontic World Congress for his research on the effects of orthodontic expansion. Dr. Capps is certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and maintains a position on the adjunct faculty of the Academic Orthodontic Department at Baylor University.

Dr. Capps grew up in Crandall, TX. His family has lived in north Texas for more than six generations. His local roots run very deep, which served as one of the principal reasons for his decision to join our practice. He loves serving his patients and cherishes the opportunity to improve their smiles and oral health. Dr. Capps wife, Heather, is in healthcare as well. She practices dermatology in Greenville. They are active in the community as well as their church and love to be outdoors with their son, Colton and daughter, Charli. Dr. Capps enjoys skiing, hiking, fly fishing, inland surfing, and training for triathlons.

Dr. Andrew Hodges attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.After three years at Texas A&M, Dr. Hodges was accepted early to dental school.He attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2004.After winning the Alpha Omega Award for graduating first in his dental school class, Dr.Hodges continued his education at Baylor for a masters degree in orthodontics.

Dr.Hodges truly enjoys getting to help patients of all ages with their orthodontic treatment needs.With todays orthodontic patient population consisting of both kids and adults, Dr. Hodges sees each day as a new opportunity for fun patient interaction and education. He is very thankful for the opportunity to help his patients achieve their desired orthodontic treatment results by encouraging them along the way and working together as a teamto reach an A+ result!

Dr. Hodges grew up and went to school in Rockwall, Texas.He currently lives there with his wife and five children.Outside of orthodontics, Dr. Hodges cherishes time with his family:just hanging out is considered an ideal weekend!Dr.Hodges considers himself to be blessed to have the opportunity to serve his local church alongside some of his closest friends and church family.Traveling internationally to Egypt and Honduras to serve with his church family has been and will continue to be a lifelong passion for Dr. Hodges.

Dr. Clay Spencer attended Abilene Christian university where he received a Bachelor of Science. He attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He then continued his education at Baylor College of Dentistry, where he obtained his Master of Science and his certificate of orthodontics. Dr. Spencer is constantly involved in continuing education. Whether it is through formal lectures, being involved in study clubs or in discussions with respected mentors and colleagues, there is always room for learning. Dr. Spencer believes that keeping up with current technologies and research concerning orthodontic treatment is the only way that he can assure his patients that they are getting the best care possible.

Dr. Spencer feels he belongs to a great profession. He loves what he does, but even more than that, he loves the opportunity it gives him to build relationships and serve others in a unique way. He believes that orthodontics gives him the ability to live out his convictions in a way that is fun and meaningful and at the end of the day, Dr. Spencer feels that he is the one who walks out of the office blessed by his patients, their families, and his staff, and he is truly grateful for that.

Dr. Spencer grew up in Paris, Texas, which is where he lives now with his wife, Maurine, and his daughters Avery, Landry, Mallory, Ellie, and Colbie. In his free time he enjoys playing basketball, snow skiing, hiking, and any kind of hunting and fishing. He is also active in his church, enjoys mission work, and serves on the Board of Directors at Camp Deer Run (a place that all of you should send your children).

I have been with the practice since 1990. What I love most about working at HSC Orthodontics is how our patients and families are not 'customers', they become our extended family. My greatest blessing is my family. In my spare time, I love riding ATV 's and fishing with my husband, kids, and grandkids. I also rock at Wii bowling!! :)

I have been with HSC Orthodontics since 2016, but in the orthodontics field since 1999. the best and most rewarding part of working here is the relationships we form the patients, as well as the parents, over the course of treatment. My time outside work is spent with my husband and our son. I enjoy running, reading, and watching my son play sports!

I love watching how much our patients confidence increases once we help their smile. I love spending my spare time with my family and watching my two boys play sports.

I had my orthodontic treatment here as a child, and was even treated by a few of the same team members. I remember how loved they made me feel as a patient and want to continue to pass on that same feeling to our patients and their families! I have been with the practice since 2016. Working with the parents and patients is what I love most about working here at HSC Orthodontics. I like helping them learn how to utilize their orthodontic benefits to the fullest. When I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids, riding four wheelers, fishing , and watching them play sports.

I have been with the practice since 1980. The main thing I enjoy about working at HSC Orthodontics is working with the patients. It is very fulfilling and exciting to see the difference orthodontics can make in our patients smiles, attitudes, and in their lives. I enjoy being with my family in my spare time, especially my grandson. I also enjoy the outdoors and reading.

I have been with the practice since 2005. My favorite part of working at HSC Orthodontics is that I get to joke around with the kids and I enjoy being able to watch their confidence grow.
