I have been a patient for decades. The office is pleasant, well run but most of all is professional. Dr. Hochenberg is highly skilled. So are the colleagues he has referred me to. He is considerate about pain and explains things. He keeps my teeth and gums in good shape. I am grateful. Susan is also professional, also warm and competent. She submits to insurance for us which I appreciate.

Not only has my experience with the Dr. been good but he's just such a nice guy. The office, under Susan, has been very helpful and friendly to me as well.

Dr. Hochenberg is amazing! I strongly recommend his services. He has extensive knowledge and experience and takes a great deal of care with his patients. I like that he goes the extra step for me and my family. He dedicates time to us and we never feel rushed. Because he is both a teacher (NYC) and practitioner, he draws from a diverse and deep pool of experience and ideas. Additionally, his office is run exquisitely by Susan who is deeply committed to patients.

I've been to way too many dentists in the past 70 years but Hochenberg is by far the best I've seen. I've been a patient of his for the past 20+ years and he and Susan almost make visiting a dentist an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend them.

Finding Dr. Hochenberg and his assistant Susan was a lucky day for me. The Dr. listens to the patient, has a light touch, exercises a conservative approach and makes sound suggestions for solving issues with older dental work. His fees are reasonable and his office an immaculate and peaceful sanctuary on W 86th St. In my book he is a dental artist of the highest order.

Dr. Richard Hochenberg is in my opinion the best Dentist in Manhattan. I have been his patient along with my wife for decades. My grown children now seen him as well. We would be reluctant to trust anyone else. He is a consummate medical professional and expert Dentist who has always provided us with the best possible Dental care. Moreover he has a very strong personal code of ethics and is very caring. Susan his long time Dental Assistant is such a treasure as well, pleasant and warm and comforting. Being their patient gives me complete confidence that I am in the best hands and is a such pleasant experience as well.

Dr. Richard Hochenberg is a truly wonderful Dentist with many years of experience and an expert in examining and treating all types of Dental conditions from minor to complex. I have been his patient as has my husband and my children for many many years and we trust him completely. I am so pleased with my first visit to Dr. Hochenberg. He was kind, thorough, and incredibly expert in his care. When he requested prior X-Rays in order to evaluate a potential problem with a particular tooth I was able to provide them two days later. I almost immediately received a follow-up call from his office that allayed my fears of a further problem. I was so impressed by his concern. Due to past dental issues I have what could be seen as a "dental phobia" but seeing Dr. Hochenberg I believe I am completely relieved of that discomfort. I am actually looking forward to seeing him and his equally pleasant assistant again in 6 months.

Dr. Hochenberg and Susan are the very best dental healthcare team I've had in my life. I first arrived at their office 15 years ago with a mouthful of faulty cosmetic dental work done by an inexperienced and overly ambitious dentist. I was in rough shape. Dr. H assured me that he could help me, and he did, 100%. I'm still smiling with his original work. He and Susan work so well together; they are patient, competent, and understanding. The office is responsive to emergencies and very accommodating. Dr. H explains all options and invites the patient to participate. My appointments have always started on time, and the value of his service is exceptional. Even when I moved 90 minutes away, I never considered changing dentists. Dr. Hocheberg will be my dentist for as long as he is in practice.

Dr Hochenberg and Susan are wonderful. Going to the dentist a pleasant experience. I am always welcomed with a smile and feel I am receiving the best care. I believe Dr. H to be honest, caring, and very experienced. Susan is a delight, so helpful. They are a wonderful team. Thank you both for all that you do!
