Dr. Gerald Hoch was born and raised in Bayonne, New Jersey. He earned his undergraduate degree at Rutgers University and went on to attend New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Hoch graduated top of his class and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.After receiving his DDS, Dr. Hoch served in the Vietnam War before returning to specialize in orthodontics back at New York University.
In 2007, Dr. Gerald Hoch started teaching in the Orthodontic Department at New York University. He continues to teach residents in their program on Fridays and plays an active roll in preparing the residents for the board certification exams.
He and his wife, Joyce, live in Holmdel, NJ and have three children: Allison, Andrew, and Amy. They have lived in Holmdel for the past 39 years. Dr. Hoch and his wife enjoy traveling, playing golf, and spending time with their three children and their spouses and 7 grandchildren.
Dr. Andrew Hoch was born and raised in Holmdel, New Jersey. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and went on to attend dental school at the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine.
At the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Andrew completed a one-year long Advanced Education in General Dentistry program before finishing a three-year postgraduate orthodontic residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in New York. Dr. Andrew excelled in his residency, earning the distinction of Chief Resident in his final year.
Dr. Andrew has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics since 2007.This is the highest honor awarded in the field by the only specialty licensing board recognized by both the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association.
Dr. Andrew has been named a Top Orthodontist inNew Jersey Monthly's Survey of Top Dentists in New Jersey every year since 2012. He has also been consistently recognized as a Premier Invisalign Provider.
He and his wife, Ellen, live in Westfield, NJ and have three children: Morgan, Ryan and Spencer.They enjoy skiing in the winter, beaching in the summer, and following football and basketball as a family in between.

Dr. Amy and her husband, Eric, live in Westfield, NJ with their daughter, Sloane and son, Shaun. The whole family love skiing in the winter, biking in the spring and relaxing on the beach in the summer. As a hobby, Dr. Amy also loves running marathons, triathlons, andbaking/decoratingcakes for family and friends!

I highly recommend Hoch orthodontics. Both of my children have been going to this practice for years and I can't say enough great things about the doctors and their staff. The BEST doctors and staff!

So grateful for hoch and what they've done for me and my teeth. I had very very bad teeth and went through both Carrier and invisilign to get me where I'm at now. I couldn't be happier and now I can smile with confidence!

I brought my two children years ago to Dr. Hoch for braces. Their teeth came out excellent, per their dentist. Now years later Dr. Hoch's daughter and son have joined his practice and I knew as soon as my granddaughter needed braces this was the office I was going to bring her because of the excellent care and concern for every patient they see.

We've been there 3 times so far, we were referred to them by my son's Dentist in Red Bank, for us this location is perfect. Other than that, they treated us so nicely since the beginning, all personnel, from front desk, nurses and doctors outstanding attention to detail. I'm very happy we decided to work with them. *** Update: they are the best, not complaint at all. Customer service, nurses and doctors, best of the best. I just can say THANK YOU

Always a pleasant experience when visiting Hoch Orthodontics with my children. From the front desk, to the assistants and of course the wonderful Hoch family who always do an amazing job of making us all feel comfortable and happy with every visit. Not to mention the amazing work they do. Highly recommend to anyone needing orthodontic care. A practice above the rest!!

Dr Hock and all his associates are the most wonderful people to work with I have ever met. I am so happy I found them. I love my teeth, they came out just the way the good Dr said they would. If anyone needs to see an orthodontist - u will be in the best hands with Dr Hock and his team.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the entire Hoch team. In addition to always being professional and exceptionally clean, they go above and beyond for their patients. I was treated by Dr. Amy from start to finish and can say without reservations that she is one of the best around! She is kind, patient, gentle, and knowledgeable. She also has a great sense of humor! :) From the very beginning we knew that my treatment might take a bit longer than I'd hoped but Dr. Amy explained what she was doing at every appointment and patiently walked me through each step. She gave me treatment options and helped me weigh the pros and cons of each. Most importantly, Dr. Amy gave me the confidence to smile BIG and I am so so grateful! :)

It is always a pleasure visiting Hoch Orthodontist. The staff is wonderful, so welcoming. The Dr's are very patient and strive for the best possible results. I got braces in my 50's and the results were great. I highly recommend the practice for anyone, young and well 'mature' lol
