Dr. Hoang graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. After working a few years as an electrical engineer, he decided to follow his first career calling that was started in Vietnam but never completed.
Dr. Hoang began his training in the postgraduate specialty program of orthodontics at the University of Texas, Health Science Center in Houston in June of 2001. He received a Certificate of Specialization in Orthodontics and a Masters of Science degree in August of 2003.
In addition to orthodontia, Dr. Hoang is very involved in the area of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Ever aware that OSA can be a contributing factor to ADD / ADHD he looks for signs and symptoms in all his orthodontic exams and alert parents to seek the attention of additional specialists if he feels it is necessary. His orthodontic treatment philosophy encompasses more than just a beautiful smile and a healthy functional bite but in the long term health of his patients.
At Hoang Orthodontics, every member of our staff is friendly, professional, and experienced. We are committed to providing each of our Houston patients with personalized care and exceptional service. We strive to maximize the one-on-one time with each patient and to completely answer any questions they have about their treatment. Our goal is to ensure a comfortable and relaxing experience for every patient.
OLGA RIOS, CDA is our Treatment Coordinator and meets and works with all our patients at the front desk, she is responsible for scheduling and checking in our patients. Olga helps our patients gain a deeper understanding of orthodontia and helps them understand the orthodontic process, as well as, assist them with their insurance claims. Olga has 2 boys who are active in high school baseball. An avid Astros fan, Olga has been with Dr. Hoang since 2005.
Diana Palacio, CDA is our orthodontic assistant. Diana has over 15 years of orthodontic experience. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Always adventurous and fun loving, Diana enjoys traveling and trying new foods.
