Dr. Brian Hoagburg has an unwavering commitment to creating beautiful and healthy smiles for his patients. Dr. Brian Hoagburg grew up in Fort Wayne, graduated from Canterbury High School in 2011 before studying Bioengineering at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry with high distinction. He received his Masters and Certificate in Orthodontics from Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Brian met his wife, Emma, at Miami University and got married in November of 2020. They look forward to moving to Fort Wayne with their two dogs Benny and Max (brother of Dr. Steve Hoagburgs beloved dog, Mandi). Dr. Brian enjoys traveling, spending time on the lake, skiing and is an avid Colts and Indiana Hoosiers fan.
Dr. Steve Hoagburg believes that he has the best career in the world. Orthodontics gives him the opportunity to make an impact on peoples lives by encouraging them to be proud of their smile. He enjoys the challenge and artistry of applying his skills, knowledge, and strategy to determine the best treatment option. Dr. Hoagburg appreciates his experienced and loyal staff, which he can depend on to help provide this excellent care.
Dr. Hoagburg was born and raised in Fort Wayne, and attended Snider High School, where he played football and baseball. Dr. Hoagburg received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from Indiana University in 1982 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1986. He received his Master of Science degree in Orthodontics also from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1988. He learned how to utilize braces and other orthodontic appliances to create beautiful smiles. Since graduating from orthodontic residency, Dr. Hoagburg became certified in Invisalign and has continued his never stop learning attitude to continue being at the forefront of orthodontic knowledge and techniques through continuous study, lectures, and study clubs with other orthodontists.
Dr. Hoagburg is married to his high school sweetheart, Sue, and has three children: Brian is in practice with Hoagburg Orthodontics. Rachel is attending Penn Dental Medicine in Philadelphia and will begin orthodontic residency at Indiana University in the summer of 2022. Dr. Hoagburg enjoys playing golf, snow skiing, and spending time at the lake with his family and dog, Mandi.

The staff at Dr. Hoagburg's office are great. They always have a smile on and are so helpful. We get an explanation of what is happening at each appointment. We have had great experiences with both our kids. One has completed treatment with a handsome smile and the other is in process. We're so thankful for Dr. Hoagburg's excellent work!

I'm extremely glad that I chose Hoagburg as my braces provider. The consultation was free and quick. They were able to show me all the problem areas of my teeth with a 3d model using advanced technology(which was extremely cool). As soon as the consultation was over, I was informed that I would be able to get my braces in less than a week if I wanted. They were very supportive through this whole process and because of them I was able to get braces with no problems and a lot of support! Applying my braces only took about 1-2 hours, and everything went extremely well. They were extremely good at explaining everything I need to do to keep my oral hygiene healthy and explained how to contact them if I encounter any problems. They regularly check up on me to see how everything's going, which is really nice to see. The people at Hoagburg are truly amazing and I would highly recommend anybody who wants braces to go here! :)

I just recently started my Invisalign treatment at Hoagburg Orthodontics. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. I couldn't be happier with how the treatment has gone so far!

My daughter recently found out she needed braces, and we were referred to this office by her pediatric dentist. Her dentist spoke very highly of the office, and we were initially just pleased to not have to travel out of Auburn for the appointments. But I was much more impressed with the office and its staff. The office feels very new and very clean, with zen-like decorations and coffee/tea for parents in the waiting area. Everyone we interacted with was super nice, and made the appointment as fun as possible! The hygienists were really good with my 9yo daughter, and she ended up knowing their names and exchanging stories with them during her first two visits. I only met one of the orthodontists, but he was also very friendly, with a good positive energy, and took the time to explain all the steps of her treatment, answering both my questions and my daughters about how her teeth were doing. As someone who had lots of dental treatment as a child, I was very pleased to see a staff working so hard to make the situation as comfortable and easy as possible. Dental work can be traumatic (and was in the 90's when I had mine done!), but my daughter didn't get upset about anything. She's not dreading her next visit, and that's all I really wanted! For the Auburn area, could not recommend more, for both children and adults! As a side note, the initial consultation was free, and they had several payment options that were explained easily to us.
