Dr Ho has been my dentist for about 14 years. He is simply the best - kind and gentle and puts everyone at ease. He explains the treatment in great detail. I recently visited his practice for a cleaning and Mai is superb - attention to detail was outstanding - my teeth have never felt so clean.

A Canadian perspective. I was in SF earlier this year at a nearby hotel and was moving to SF for a job and decided to go in for a cleaning. Had a great experience, had a great hygienist, they spent like 40 minutes cleaning all the stains out (I've never had someone spend this much time cleaning by teeth in Canada before). All the costs were cleared with me before hand (unlike Canada where I've been surprised at least 5 times from 5 different dentists). Dr. David T Ho is amazing, very clear and helpful, referred me to a few other folks to do some check ups. Only downside was that my insurance said he was in network but apparently he is not so I had to pay a little more for a filling (10%)

I love going to Dr. Ho's office. It is so clean and welcoming. There are even massage chairs to make you feel relaxed while you are waiting.!!! I just had a cleaning appointment recently. I loved the dental hygienist, Shiela! She rocks. She made my teeth squeaky clean!!! She was warm, friendly and happy. I love Dr. Ho. He explained everything happening to my teeth and provided suggestions on how to maintain my teeth. I came out of my cleaning appointment really happy, clean and informed!!! I always feel happy whenever I go to Dr. Ho's office.

As someone who doesn't especially enjoy visiting the dentist, my experience at Dr Ho's practice was fantastic. From my first interactions with Michelle, to Enrique's fantastic bedside-manner/humour, to Dr Ho clearly and concisely explaining everything to me. I felt at complete ease. I cannot praise enough.

I had my first filling with Dr Ho. I was very nervous and he quickly made me feel at ease. He outlined what was involved in the procedure before starting and continued to update me throughout. During the procedure, I was able to watch Netflix and relax. It wasn't painful and he was very efficient. I had a great experience at Van Ness Dental Care and would highly recommend Dr Ho.

Offers Saturday appointments! Dr. Ho's shots are pretty painless. Folks are friendly. Office makes good use of text messages and email.

Dr. Ho has been my dentist for 9 years. I have never had such a thoughtful, gentle, and attentive dentist before! Teeth cleanings are truly a pleasant experience and Dr. Ho makes any fillings or drilling work as pleasant as possible. I highly recommend this fantastic family run practice!

Outstanding patient care. Dr. Ho and his team are so kind and pleasant, efficient, and calm. You watch Netflix during cleanings and procedures. I have had several cleanings and a filling done here. I've never looked forward to the dentist before coming here. Best decision made in SF, can't recommend enough.
