Dr. Lauren Peterson is a 2009 graduate (Magna Cum Laude) from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, where she received her Doctorate in Medical Dentistry. Her undergraduate studies in History were completed at UCLA. Shortly after receiving her DMD, Dr. Peterson moved to and began practicing in Colorado.
In addition, Dr. Peterson is a participant in a local Spear Study Club, a group of skilled dentists and specialists, who consult on complicated cases and attend continuing education at the Scottsdale Center in Arizona. She has attended advanced courses in facially-generated treatment planning, worn dentition, anterior cosmetic dentistry, occlusion and airway prosthedontics.
Dr. Peterson was raised in southern California and currently resides in Wheat Ridge, with her husband, Justin, and their children, Kallie and Karsten. She enjoys all four seasons in Colorado where she can hike, mountain bike and ski.
A Florida native, Dr. Allison Soffer graduated from the University of Florida (Go Gators!) and received her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine (Magna Cum Laude). She continued her dental training with a General Practice Residency at Denver Health Hospital in Colorado. She returns to Hlsa Dental with over a decade of experience in private practice in Colorado as well as Texas.
Dr. Soffer enjoys providing excellent individualized care to her patients. Striving to give the patient the outcome they desire, whether it be cosmetic or functional, Dr. Soffer is proud to offer a comprehensive scope of dental services to her patients.
To provide the best care for her patients and to stay abreast of the latest scientific and technological advancements, Dr. Soffer participates in prestigious continuing education courses and is involved in her local study club.

Halsa dental is great! Everyone is so friendly and it's very clear that providing a top notch patient experience is important to them. Kim has been my hygienist for both visits I've had so far and she is always making sure that I'm comfortable. I would recommend this team to anyone!

Everything about my visit was great. Team at the front desk are very pleasant and very tuned in to what is going on in the office. Hygienist was professional, thorough and wasted no time. Dentist (and hygienist) reviewed findings...clear communication and VERY pleasant. A rarity these days!!!
