I am a lifelong Washingtonian. My family roots range from Port Angeles to Yakima and from Burien to White Center. My youth was spent hiking, fishing, and hunting with my father. In late elementary school, I began playing Ice hockey. After a long hiatus, I reignited that passion.
Dr. Erhardt grew up in Southern California. He realized at a very young age that he loved health sciences and making things with his hands. He had a close relationship with his childhood dentist and orthodontist which helped him realize that dentistry was the right field for him. Dr. Erhardt attended the University of Washington and earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1990 and then served, as a dentist, in the United States Navy for three years. His service helped him gain an immense amount of knowledge and experience in a short period of time. During this time he also earned his certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support, researched Oral medicine and has worked in treatment of Oncology patients. His practice experience includes Family Dentistry, Geriatrics, Pedodontics, Cosmetic, and Implant dentistry.
And while Dr. Erhardt really enjoys dentistry, he does find time for other things such as landscaping, exploring nature, and building large Lego projects. If you want to discover one of his passions just ask him about trains or airplanes.

Awesome Friendly Staff! My first visit. Everyone's one the ball in this establishment. Funny and reassuring to help you feel at ease. Dr Hixson is exceptional and through! It makes me want to work there.

Broken tooth Call had appointment the next day Went in at 7:30 AM left at 10AM with a new crown. Dr. Nixon and his assistant were great. Tooth feels as normal as can be. Appreciate having it taken care in only one appointment. Wishing Dr. and his whole staff all the best Thanks again.

We recently switched our whole family over to Hixson Dental and have all been so happy. I have never seen my daughter laugh so much at the dentist appt before. The care is so great and everyone makes you feel so comfortable. They are helpful and giving. The goodie bags are above and beyond. They are even a whole lot more cost effective then the last place we were at. They really do care about us.

Absolutely and without a doubt the best dentist around. I'd given up on dentists. The embarrassment I experienced when I would go to the dentist and be criticized for how I cared for my teeth was beyound belief. But then I found Dr. Hixson. Dr. Hixon and his staff do great work and I come out of there feeling like I was a partner. Thank you Dr. Hixon. I am glad i found you and your fabulous staff of professionals.

This place is always on top of it, and will go the extra mile for you. I recommend everyone to go there. Dr. Erhardt gives the most gentle shots I've had from anyone else!! He really cares about the details.

I've not had much dental work done, maybe it's 3 or 4 fillings, so I forget from one time to the next what it entails. I do go regularly for cleanings. Both experiences at Dr. Hixon's office is pleasant and humor seems to always be part of the visit. I don't dread going to "the dentist".

LOVE Dr Hixson and the team who works with him. They are thorough with a conservative approach. Previous dentist was always trying to sell me something or suggest work I didn't need. NEVER at Hixson's office.

My wife and I have been going to Hixson Dental for a few years now and I highly recommend for your dental care. Having said that, billing is a problem and has been from the beginning. We are covered by two very good dental insurers and for some reason they usually can't seem to get it right. In fact I cannot recall a time that we did not have to call and have them fix an issue.
