Welcome to the office of Dr. Lori Ransohoff. Collectively, we have been serving the Tampa Bay community for over 60 years. Our philosophy is that of honesty, integrity, and commitment to excellence. Using our CAD/CAM computer, we can offer you most restorations in as little as a few hours. Our friendly staff and state-of-the-art technology will guarantee a lifetime of excellent dental comfort and health.
Dr. Lori Ransohoff is a 1989 graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. She received a post graduate degree in Prosthodontics in 1991, and then a post graduate degree in Maxillo-Facial Prosthetics in 1992. Dr. Ransohoff chose a career in treating our veterans at the VA hospitals (Manhattan & Tampa) until 2015. She fabricated facial prosthesis, speech aides, and various special oral appliances to aide in speech and swallowing due to cancer and trauma. Full mouth rehabilitation and restoration were also a large part of her practice.
Dr. Ransohoff is a Fellow of the ACP (American College of Prosthodontists) and the AAMP (American Academy of Maxillo-Facial Prosthetics). She is the past president of the FPA (Florida Prosthodontist Assoc.). Dr. Ransohoff is also a member of the ADA (American Dental Association), FDA (Florida Dental Association), the WCDA (West Coast Dental Association), the AO (Academy of Osseointergration) and the Seattle Study Club.
Samantha is a graduate from Florida State University and completed dental hygiene school at South Florida State College. Her focus is on comprehensive hygiene therapy and individualized treatment for her patients. Samantha is passionate about staying up to date with new research, products, and technology to provide the best service possible.
Marie Mirazai is one of our chairside assistants whose job it is to assist Dr. Ransohoff. Marie has 27 years of dental experience. Marie is expert in several areas of dentistry including fabrication of study models and custom oral appliances. Marie is a passionate member of our dental team who places a focus on the comfort of our patients

Doctor Lori Ransohoff (along with Carol and Sam) provided an incredible experience on my 1st visit (June 6th, 2022). Prior to moving to Florida, I had the same dentist for 30years. I "was" nervous about going to a new dentist. The folks here are all kind, compassionate, and take the time to answer your questions. My first visit at Historic Hyde Park Dentistry was worth the wait. I actually look forward to my next visit. The you Dr Ransohoff/Carol/Sam! My 2nd visit (Oct 17, 2022) was just as pleasant as the 1st. This office has the latest technology and is immaculately clean. Sam did a great job cleaning my teeth! Also, she answered all my questions regarding my dental hygiene. If you're looking for a GREAT dentist, make Historic Hyde Park Dentistry your next visit!

This is a fantastic dental practice all around. From Carol at the front desk to Samantha the hygienist to Dr. Ransohoff herself, they are all friendly and very good at what they do. Dr. Ransohoff has had many opportunities to choose the more expensive options for me, but has consistently chosen the more conservative "let's wait and see" option. She has really treated me like family and I'll be a loyal patient for many years to come.

Historic Hyde Park Dentistry is such a top notch dental practice. Both Dr. Ransahoff and Dr. Wiehe truly care about the well being of their patients. I recently had somewhat of a dental emergency after hours and was literally staring at a 3 tooth bridge that had actually fallen out!! I phoned the office and called the emergency number. Dr. Ransahoff answered immediately and listened to my panicked story. She advised she was out of town but would contact Dr. Wiehe to reach out to me. He called within 5 minutes and arranged to meet me , off hours, the next morning. He and his Dental Asst., Dana met me at the office, spent their personal time in correcting my issue and got me right out the door. Then, on his first day back in office, Dr. Wiehe called to check on me and make sure my Invisalign retainer still fit with the work he had to do.. This kind of personalized customer service is rarely experienced anymore so much love and kudos and appreciation to this great practice and their amazing staff!!!

Definitely the best dental practice in Tampa! We recently moved away, but we still drive 90 minutes to Historic Hyde Park Dentistry! We are so happy with every aspect of this practice. I actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned. It is often difficult to find a dentist that is gentle, concerned, professional, and honest when it comes to dental care, but I promise you will find all of that here. So many dentist do unnecessary work just to line their pockets, but not this practice. You will get genuine professional care. And by the way, there's no waiting for two weeks and struggling with a temporary while waiting for a permanent crown. I went to three different, disappointing dental offices in Tampa before this practice was recommended to me, and I will be forever grateful to that person for her recommendation. My only regret is that I didn't find this practice sooner. If you want the VERY BEST in dental care go to Historic Hyde Park Dentistry!

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The presence of adorable small dogs added to the relaxing environment. So here I am just getting a yearly cleaning and ex-rays after 10 years of being a single mother and not being able to afford dental care for so long. I came to Tampa from Ocala and did my research only to find this diamond in the rough. Embarrassed and ashamed of my lack of dental care, the staff treated me with the utmost respect, understanding, care, and most of all,,,,,,Dignity!! The moment you walk in the door you are welcomed as if you are already family, friend, patient, and dear to the heart of the strangers you know nothing about. From the receptionist who is eager to oblige your every need to the dentist, assistant, partner etc, only to satisfy you to the unthinkable degree. A personable service that happens only in the movies and books that we read or the journals we write when we swear at those giving less. I have to say when they dealt with my less than perfect circumstances and my overwhelming emotions after all the years of no healthcare with my mouth,,,,,,well, they dealt with me in a style nothing less than grace, and kindness. Dr. Lori and her partner as well as her entire staff deserve our respect and loyalty as well as kindness in return because they truly do care like no other dental practice I have ever dealt with. They say more than hello. They ask how you are and then stick around for the answer. Hanging on your every word to keep the conversation going with each and every visit. As if it does in fact matter. Indeed it does. What a welcomed atmosphere in this day and age of greed and selfishness. ( Especially in the medical field) After my cleaning they informed me of a life threatening infection and I was sent to the best periodontist for immediate surgery. They sent me to only the best care they believed in. I instantly trusted NOTHING LESS. They have worked with me and given me nothing less than the most healing care. (Believe it or not, your mouth health can KILL you). Do be aware of the good, the bad, and the ugly dental care and physicians alike. It can cost you your life, your smile, your health, and self-esteem. YES,,, they all intermingle!!! They are prompt, polite, considerate, and honest. DON'T be fooled by anything less. This is your health people. No joke! Thank you to all of the beautiful staff at Dr. Ransohoff's office from the inside out because you all embody perfection in the dental industry and are rivaled by no other. Trust me I have spent more money on my mouth than I have on cars, wealth, or other selfish gains in this life. I truly have a comparison that is a speakable truth. I love these guys. Succinctly put.
