Dr. Misako Hirota has been practicing dentistry for 30 years. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis School of Dental Medicine. She is a member of the San Diego County Dental Society, California Dental Association and the American Dental Association, Senior Staff at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, Clinical Instructor at UCSD Department of Family Medicine and Public Health, as well as a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Our front office staff, Donna is more than happy to help you. She has almost 30 years of experience to answer any concern you may have about your dental insurance. Donna has been working with Dr. Hirota for 8 years. When not in the office, Donna enjoys spending time with her family.
Don is our friendly and professional Registered Dental Assistant in the back. He has well over 25 years of experience. Outside of the dental office, Don likes to spend time with his family and grandchildren.

Dr. Hirota Misako is a "stellar" Dentist and an amazing Health Provider, whose services are the absolute best I have ever received from any medical professional, ever! I appreciate her kindness and I am blessed to be one of her patients!

It's always a pleasure to to see doc. And staff. They all are so warm and caring. When doc works on you can't even fill it. I will always go to doc and staff anytime. Donna is a very kind woman she gets me in with doc and doc gets me out. I just love doc whole staff. My whole family goes to them

i amd my family have been with dr hirota for many years. she goes out of her way to return calls and stands behind her work. i still drive from riverside to see her. nobody can provide or cares enough to provide the service i receive from dr hirota!. i recommend her wholeheartedly.

Who ever really says they like to go to the dentist. At least that's who I use to feel, until I came across Dr Bahn . From my first appointment the front desk Donna and Wilma greeted me with friendly smiles and very helpful amd easy to understand exxplaining my copays. Then once I was ready to get my dental work done a very humorous and friendly dental assistant Don brought ease to my mind making me feel comfortable in giving me that peace of mind I needed . As far as dentist I never thought I would say I like going to the dentist, but I can honestly say after going to Dr Bahn for almost 1 year now that's completely changed. Dr Bahn is one of a kind dentist who puts her patient's first in every way. She patiently explains all the work she will perform before and during the time she is taking care of you and always ready to listen to any concerns or questions you may have. If I can say I did one thing right ...was I chose a great dentist in San Diego and hope to keep her as long as I need dental work done !

Always a nice experience coming here-yes, the dental office! Everyone is extremely friendly. Dr. Hirota is very patient with my kids and makes them feel comfortable. I've never had to wait more than a five minutes to be seen. Great dentistry for the whole family! I highly recommend.

Dr Hirota is a very knowledgeable dentist who not only cares about your teeth but cares about the patient and their health. The office is very clean and friendly and the office manager always greets everyone with a smile and is very helpful with insurance. I definitely recommend this Dental office.

I have been coming to this dental office for many years, and I am always delighted by everyone on the team. Today Dr. Ban took care of my cleaning, and she was fast, efficient and very nice. The team works together very well, and they are always considerate of my budget. Love them!

I've been coming to see Dr. Hirota and Dr. Banh for many years now. Prior to Dr. Banh's arrival Dr. Hirota came highly recommended to me by my parents and I have never been happier with the service they provide. Both Dr. Hirota and Dr. Banh are excellent doctors. The support staff are polite, courteous, and very professional. They've always made me feel welcome as if I were family.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! I have always feared and hated the dentist! Not anymore! Dr. Hirota is soo gentle & sweet! She makes you feel calm and comfortable. I have since sent my 4 kids here and my husband is next! I would recommend this office to anyone! Wonderful, friendly office staff too! :)

The location is easy to find and has plenty of street parking. The interior is very clean and bright. The receptionist is exceptional and they offer text and email reminders. The X-ray technician is very nice and quick at his job. Dr. Misako is very thorough and provided a comprehensive exam with recommendations for at home dental care according to my personal medications and lifestyle. I really appreciate the personal touch that Dr. Misako provides and would recommend her to anybody.
