Everyone was amazing! I was stressed because I couldn't find my insurance card and the front dest employee informed me that It wasn't an issue and that she had already called my insurance this morning prior to my appointment and had everything verified and approved for me. I was seen by Dr Oakley. I was having pain and sensitivity in 2 of my back teeth. He found 2 cavities and made time to fill them today instead of me having to reschedule and come back. It was the smoothest, most stress free and painless dentist appointment I've ever had. Every employee was friendly, fast and made me comfortable . This office is top notch. They will be my go to dentist from now on. My sister goes to church with Dr. Oakley and his family and recommended their office to me. I highly recommend Hintz and Oakley to anyone seeking dental care. I scheduled a cleaning for February. They stay pretty booked up, which is to be expected for a good practice. Thanks to everyone at the office today that helped me out and made things go so smoothly!

So I was told they would be a great dentist to go to and was excited to give them a call. I am pregnant and have Medicaid for my pregnancy. And they told me they only will accept the Medicaid I have for "existing patients". I'm newer to TN, so I couldn't have already been seeing them, and I don't feel that this is very fair at all. Not impressed.

Have had some experience with one visit super busy. Will not schedule me for cleaning I need twice a year because they are overbooked. Had covid in August missed it the first appointment was in January oh no

Troy b Oakley is the best dentist I've seen in 20 years....explains everything that needs to be done and why??? My insurance sucks, but he trys to do only what they will cover completely.

Look people in the eye when you talk to them, don't sit JUST BEHIND them and talk AT them. Also, the VA DOES NOT provide dental coverage, no matter how much you want to believe they do. Veterans are required to purchase dental insurance.

Called with questions in regards to making an appointment. The receptionist was very dismissive. Barely answered any of my questions and then when I asked if they take my insurance she said "I've never heard of that insurance before".. I responded that if they don't take that insurance that I would have to go somewhere else and the receptionist said "okay thanks" and hung up. Didn't even offer to look into it. Disappointed.

I am a manager at a transitional housing recovery program called Next Step. We brought a resident by. The staff is wonderful. The facility is super-clean. They do temperature and COVID symptom checks to keep everyone safe. The dental staff is top knotch, and we could not be more pleased. I highly recommend them.

I had a really painful abscess & though I was a new patient they got me in same day. I didn't wait long at all until staff took me back. Dr. Oakley examined me & was up front - he would try to pull it, but it was in such a shape that it might crumble & require surgery. They quickly told me up front what the cost & details would be "worst case scenario." I agreed & they went to work. He was able to pull the tooth painlessly without surgery. I HATE dentists. Its not personal, just have a stormy history with them. I love this office & would recommend them to anyone, especially if you just want dental care without pressure to upsell procedures.

Phenomenal Dental Practice! I would have given 6 stars if I could. I've been going to Hintz and Oakley for about 1.5 years and they never disappoint. Both Dentists are awesome as well as their hygiene team and their dental assisting team! Front office team is always so sweet, kind, and helpful as well. Definitely recommend.

Have been able to fit me in, no matter my schedule. Also I apparently left my jacket and they have been holding it, I didn't even know! Love these Ladies and Gents!

I had gotten a broken tooth that went all the way down to the gum on the weekend and waited for Monday to come around. My regular dentist would not see me that day as they were booked, even though It was an emergency. I called multiple dentistry's and when I called Hintz & Oakley Family Dentistry they worked me in even though I was a new patient. As soon as I was finished with my paperwork they saw me immediately. Dr. Oakley examined me and told me in detail what the situation with my tooth was. He answered any questions and concerns I had and referred me to a oral surgeon. A few days later my broken tooth came out after business hours and I called Dr. Oakley. He got back to me that day and alleviated my concerns. I'm never going back to my old dentist again.

There's so many wonderful things I can say so far. I am at stage two of my dental journey and just being able to say that we have made that much progress is impressive to me! I am thankful for Dr Oakley and the wonderful staff that ALWAYS makes me comfortable. I even have visitors (other assistants) that come in and check on me after I have something done. I feel like I am loved when I walk in and I feel like ANY question never goes unanswered. Thank you! This has changed my thinking about dentists completely! I will never go anywhere else as long as your doors are open!!!

Took my mother in law in for a cleaning . APPT was AT 9:30, 1 hour and 45mins later still waiting. Ask if there was a problem, they said just running behind. Sad at 9:30 in the morning they are already behind . Not to mention having to listen to kids on their phones watching cartoons while the TV was playing also...
