We specialize in orthodontics for children and adults and are board-certified experts in using Invisalign and the high-tech Damon brace system to achieve the fastest and most comfortable results possible.
Our practice began when Dr. Frank Klepacki founded our office in 1955. He was later joined by his son, Dr. Mike Klepacki, who has now passed the torch to the husband and wife team of Dr. Nick Riccio and Dr. Susan Blair.
During the last phase of my treatment, when she made a recommendation for a small amount of cosmetic work she felt would really make a final difference, she actually went to meet my dentist in person so she could tell me that she had confidence in his ability to do the work. She really wants her patients to be happy with their results.
Ive had four kids that have had braces at the practice and I have had Invisalign. We have all had an exceptional experience and beautiful smiles. The entire staff knows your name and are genuinely excited to see you and the end result of a great smile.
Being an orthodontist is my dream job! I love being able to help people gain confidence and improve their health in a fun environment. Creating individualized smiles is my passion. I enjoy getting to know my patients, their families, learning about their lives, and interests.
I love learning about a wide variety of subjects, which made deciding on a career path difficult. I followed in my familys footsteps to Oklahoma State University where I majored in Art History and Physiology. I was considering graduate school to become a museum curator or a doctor when I went on a summer-long medical service trip to India.
My energetic personality and my love for kids prompted me to become a pediatric dentist, so I went on to complete my two-year pediatric dentistry residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York. I absolutely loved living in NYC and the program at Montefiore.
I was always interested in orthodontics, but realized I wanted to know all the details about my pediatric patients treatments! I applied to orthodontic residencies all over the country, but was so happy to spend three more years at Montefiore.
I practiced in Brooklyn, NY and Chicagoland for over two years as a pediatric dentist and orthodontist. While I am now concentrating solely on orthodontics, my training as a pediatric dentist allows me to have a deeper understanding of growth and development of facial structures and dentition, enriching my skills as an orthodontist.
I absolutely love to travel and am fortunate to have been to many places all around the world. I continue to frequent museums and learn about history and art. I am passionate about animal rescue and have always been involved with local humane societies. I also enjoy running, particularly training for half-marathons.
My husband, Dr. Nick Riccio, is a Glen Ellyn native. He often talks about the benefits of growing up in a community with a small town feel outside of Chicago. I have grown to appreciate the charm and sense of community in the western suburbs of Chicago as well.
I operate on a patient-first model, which is why I am committed to serving patients and their evolving needs. I use my professional philosophy and my practical knowledge to improve the lives of my patients and create lasting happiness, one remarkable smile at a time.
After graduating from Glenbard West High School, I chose to attend Haverford College, a small liberal arts college outside of Philadelphia. My academic experience at Haverford has served me better as a caregiver than most other coursework I went on to study over more than a decade of higher learning.
After college, I took part in some groundbreaking genetic research out of the University of Pennsylvania. There, I discovered two crucial things about myself: my commitment to lifelong learning, and my desire to care for people through direct patient care.
I graduated at the top of my class with multiple honors from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. It was there that I learned the foundations of caring for patients, and cultivated my affinity for orthodontics.
In order to transform myself into a master of that specialty, I chose an intensive three-year hospital residency dedicated to full-time clinical patient care. This allowed me to amass enough experience to become Board Certified, an honor that is bestowed upon less than a third of orthodontists in the country, and signifies the highest commitment to excellence.
Of course, my learning didnt stop there. I am excited for the future of orthodontics, where high-tech digital diagnosis and treatment planning are already allowing for more efficient and comfortable treatment options for patients.
For example, I have become an expert in treatment with the sophisticated Damon brace system and modern Invisalign clear aligner therapy, as well as, cutting-edge 3D imaging and digital goop-free impressions, all of which make the experience for my patients as comfortable and effortless as possible.
Also, I am really an artist at heart, and love to use those more abstract skills by offering procedures like LASER gum sculpting and aesthetic tooth manicuring. These high-tech treatments yield eye-catchingly beautiful results and add value to your smile investment.
In order to protect those smiles, I promote the use of mouth guards. This partially comes from my personal experience with traumatic tooth loss as a child, for which I now have a dental implant go ahead and try to guess which tooth is the fake one!
Last but not least, as a caregiver, I believe in making the process of orthodontics a fun and memorable experience for my patients. Sometimes that means just making them laugh and feel at home in the office, but always means striving to be one of the best, most carefree parts of their day.
I have climbed two mountains in my life, am fluent in Spanish, and am a huge movie buff but its too hard to pick a favorite! I enjoy running with my dog, Barney, rock climbing with my niece and nephew, playing Frisbee golf with my friends, and cruising around town on my electric skateboard.

My son is nearing the end of his Invisalign with Dr Nick and team and we could not be more pleased! Visits are quick and easy and my son has never had any issues. Love Hinsdale Ortho!

Beautiful people ! Amazing place! After thinking of getting my braces done in Europe i decided to go to Hinsdale Ortho and i am so greatful i found this place.Exceptional practice where everyone is happy and love what they do.The whole staff is so kind,welcoming and friendly,it looks like their main goal is creating and spreading positive energy and Dr.Nick is the one who leads the effort and always makes sure everyone is having a great experience.The one thing that really fascinated me the most is the huge dedication and professionalism of Dr.Blair.I can't say enough good things about her ,beautiful ,wonderful, amazing lady,she is patient and so well educated ,amazingly knowledgeable not only for the job she is doing but also other things in general like being familiar with my place of origin and stuff like that,i was very impressed.I am so glad i met such an awesome and inspiring person ,i have a huge respect for her.It's been a great experience and i highly recommend Hinsdale Ortho to everyone who is looking for the best practice of this kind !

I'm in the beginning stages of my treatment, but I am already SO happy with my experience at Hinsdale Ortho! I am beyond thankful that I was introduced to Dr. Riccio and the rest of the staff by my cosmetic dentist (Dr. Michael Morgan). I have a pretty complicated case, and from the start Dr. Riccio was confident that he could help me solve the issues that I have with my teeth. He took the time to listen to my concerns and explain that he could help me achieve my goals. He is kind, intelligent, and clearly incredible at what he does. I left my consultation feeling so excited to begin my treatment. Hinsdale Ortho is all around excellent. Every single person that works there is so kind and welcoming. I look forward to my appointments because I love the staff so much! I can't wait to follow up with before and after pictures once my treatment is done. I'm incredibly thankful for Dr. Riccio and all of the WONDERFUL staff! 8/29 update: I started my spark aligner treatment last week and am so happy with the experience. As I mentioned, my treatment is a little more complicated due to previous trauma to a front tooth. With that being said, appointments that revolve around my teeth tend to leave me feeling a little nervous since that tooth is so fragile. Thanks to Jamie and Dr. Riccio, I was completely at ease the entire time. They were both kind, knowledgeable and calming during the whole process. It's hard for me to summarize how happy I have been with this experience because I could just go on and on! I'm extremely grateful to be under the care of Hinsdale Ortho and am looking forward to this journey!

By far Hinsdale Ortho is the top notch!!! They are efficient and friendly. My daughter's smile is beautiful and she is constantly asked who her Orthodontist was. She gets compliments on her smile all the time!!! So happy we chose Hinsdale Ortho!!

I could not be more pleased with the journey my daughter had at Hinsdale Ortho. Dr. Nick and the team are enthusiastic, thorough and had a great rapport with my daughter. When my daughter had her braces taken off they made her feel so special with tons of fanfare, pictures and a goodie bag. She had the biggest smile on her face! High fives to the entire Hinsdale Ortho team for the amazing care they provided to my daughter!

My kids both had their braces done with Dr. Klepacki. When it came time for me to get my own teeth straightened in my 40s, I looked to the same place I took my kids. The ownership had changed, but the quality of work hadn't. Dr. Klepacki definitely left the business to the right staff. All of the staff are awesome and very friendly. The work they do is worth every penny and then some. Highly recommend using their services for your kids or for adults. The only issue I have is I waited longer than I should have to get this work done. I personally went with Invisalign instead of braces. Great decision. I travel for work and the ability to just change the trays weekly instead of having to go in for an adjustment made the process almost effortless.

I had my expander, retainer and braces done here and they did absolutely amazing, the results were phenomenal, and the people are so kind and friendly and really make you feel at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an orthodontist

We have had a great journey with Hindsdale Ortho!! Everyone has always been helpful and wiling to answer our many questions. My son had to have surgery as part of his treatment, and they did all of the legwork to make sure everything was taken care of and set up. This has been a seamless treatment with outcomes beyond our imagination! What a great and friendly team, service with a smile. I recommend this team for all of your orthodontic needs, no job is too big.

Dr. Nick and the Ortho team are top class!!! Everyone from the front office to the amazing well- trained assistants in the clinic take good care of you. They are experts and are happy to answer questions. Even when scheduling, the office is accommodating despite being super busy. Recommend % There is no better office to trust with your smile. There is guidance, support, and instruction every step of the way which makes getting braces and wearing retainers to maintain your smile feel almost effortless. My high school age brother also got his radiant, straight smile from this office just last year when he got his braces off. We're very pleased with our collective experience. You truly feel the community spirit at this office. Here you are not just a patient, but part of the Hinsdale Ortho family. Every visit was extremely thorough with the doctor explaining each and every incremental progress and step. A lot of doctors will bore you with unhelpful medical jargon. Not Dr. Nick. The doctor breaks down everything in digestible, relatable pieces of information so you can truly understand where you are with your treatment and what steps you have left. It's all straightforward. I truly felt well taken care of. I have lived my whole life in Hinsdale and was a patient starting at age 7 at this office before it became Hinsdale Ortho. It was amazing then and is amazing now. This office has an excellent reputation throughout the community and the Chicagoland area.

Not happy with the service yesterday. I came for a consultation and we waited an hour past our appt without even seeing the doctor. The coordinator came in and said he still has 4 patients in front of us. We ended up leaving without even being seen.

I couldn't be happier with the way that Hinsdale ortho listened to my concerns. When it came time to remove my Invisalign, me and my family decided my teeth were gorgeous, not perfect. Doctor Nick patiently taught me and my Mom about my natural roots of my teeth and my dental health. The consensus was to manicure my teeth. Doctor Nick did such an amazing job with my teeth. He carefully manicured them until they were perfect. He did a perfect job at making my teeth look naturally straight (even thought they were FAR from that ) with a healthy white glow. Overall I couldn't be happier with my teeth and the patience and communication of all of the staff. Hinsdale Ortho feels like a family for me. I chat with the staff when i'm getting my teeth done and they talk with me and remember specific details about my life. Hinsdale ortho did an amazing job answering any questions I had and making me feel safe well making me teeth look amazing!!!!!
