Dr. Fitzgerald has participated in numerous volunteer missions to provide dental care to impoverished regions in Nicaragua, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, and the Brazilian Amazon. For many years, he volunteered at 'Bridge Over Troubled Waters' in Boston providing treatment for at risk youth. Presently, Dr. Fitzgerald donates his time to Smiles Change Lives to provide orthodontic treatment for children from low-income families.

He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Mayflower Study Club. Dr. Fitzgerald is very active on the board of the Tufts Association of Orthodontists.

Dr. Fitzgerald and his staff are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home. Cecilia and Joyce are the orthodontic assistants and are certified in dental radiology as well as CPR. Together the assistants offer over 50 years of combined orthodontic and dental experience in treating patients, specifically children with the highest level of care and attention. They are an impressive team performing and sharing the daily responsibilities of a very active practice. Our assistants always prioritize the patients' needs with a warm and gentle approach to assure a positive outcome at each visit. Throughout treatment the assistants guide patients to develop healthy oral habits and hygiene to assure beautiful smiles for a lifetime. They aim to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by attending accredited education courses, seminars and workshops.

Suzanne, Kathy and Megan are the business administrators and one of the first staff members you and your family will meet when you visit our practice. As a team, they work to create a special environment where the patients and their families feel comfortable from the first initial exam until the end of treatment. The experience they bring to the practice includes clinical knowledge, financial and insurance expertise as well as customer service backgrounds. The team attends regular orthodontic meetings and conferences to provide you with the most up-to-date information and care. We enjoy meeting new patients and providing the best service.
