Dr. William Himm graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1977.He spent a year treating patients in a children's clinic in Jackson, Michigan and has been practicing in Livonia for the past33 years.Dr. Himm is a long time active member of the Michigan Dental Association (MDA), American Dental Association(ADA) and the Detroit District Dental Society (DDDS).
He regularly attends continuing education classes to improvehis dental knowledge and skills. Dr. Himm is very calm and likes to cater to cowards. He has often heard the comment thathe has gentle hands. We are fulfilling our dream to practice together and we look forward to providing dental services to you in a stable and comfortable environment.
Dr. Rebecca Himm is a graduate of the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and a third generation dentist. She is excited to be a part of this growing practice with her father, Dr. William Himm. She decided to work in dentistry because she feels the field is a perfect blend of art and science. Consequently Himm Family Dentistry is full of the dental technology essentials to benefit the patients, such as digital x-ray technology, intraoral cameras and iPad educational tools. She is committed to helping all her patients achieve the smile of their dreams and become healthy in their dental habits.
Dr. Rebecca also believes in helping the community as much as she can. She has educational presentations for the seniors at the Livonia Senior Center and has participated in several Give Kids A Smile events at the University of Detroit Mercy. She has served as a co-chair of the New Dentist Committee for the Detroit District Dental Society. She is currently an active member of the Detroit District Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association (MDA), American Dental Association (ADA) , and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
Carol is an active member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers. She is committed to pursuing excellence in dental practice management. Dentistry has been an integral part of her life as Dr. Paul Watson, her father, Dr. Bill Himm, husband, Drs. Rebecca and Andrew, daughter and son are all dentists in which she has happily worked with all of them.
Vanessa is one of the newer member of our team. With her working for over a year, she is happy to take the time to help when patients have questions. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, baking, and playing video games.
Geri is new to our office in 2009 and her background is in Communications. As Care Coordinator it is her pleasure to tend to your needs and answer your questions and she loves being a part of the Himm Family Dentistry team. Outside the office, she enjoys time outside gardening andheranimals. Geri also is avolunteer at Brightmoor Prayerhouse Mission and isactive in her church.
Robin has been a part of Dr. Himm's office since 2002 as a dental receptionist.In 2009, she becameour chair-side assistant.She has anx-ray certification through the UM radiology program and has completed a career certificate for dental assistingthrough thePenn-Foster online program.Outside the office, Robinenjoys spending time her family, dogs and volunteering in theChristiancommunity work as well as outdoorrecreation.
Ann has been working with us since the end of 2019. She is a very hard worker, always ready to take on any new task with 'Can-Do' attitude and will always greet you with a smile and a kind 'Hello!' Out side of work Ann loves to shop, cook, travel and take her two dogs on long walks.
Daniel is a nationally board certified massage therapist who graduated with an Associate of Science degree and Massage Therapy Certification from Schoolcraft College. When Daniel is in the office, it is his pleasure to make sure our patients feel comfortableandrelaxed with complementary hand or chair massages. Daniel is Dr. Bill's son and Dr. Rebecca's brother. He enjoys golf, disc golf, rock climbing and gaming.

Staff is very kind and well organized. I'm no xray equipment expert, but they seem to have top of the line modern stuff. Joy was so gentle and did an amazing job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Rebecca was very nice and professional. I would highly recommend.

This review is for Himm Healing Hands, which is housed in the same area as the dental practice. I got a Groupon for my husband to receive a full massage here and Dan, his massage therapist, was great. He enjoyed the massage, felt so relaxed afterward, and said that Dan also gave him some tips for home. Would recommend!

I went to see Dr Rebecca about some major tooth pain. She was very honest and pinpointed exactly what the problem was without trying to rip me off with a fake diagnosis and unneeded expensive procedure like so many other dentists would. The procedure went flawlessly and very quick and i was in sweet relief immediately after. Thank you Dr Rebecca for fixing my problem and not scamming me or taking advantage of my situation. I definitely recommend her for your tooth pain needs.

Himm Family Dentistry is a wonderful family practice! They are friendly, professional, helpful and informative! They keep up to date with the latest techniques and look at the health of the whole body not just your mouth. They are accommodating and have provided excellent, affordable, care for me even though I have never had dental insurance!

I was visiting friends in Michigan and needed extensive work done and heard of Himm Family Dentistry. Dr. Rebecca Himm was awesome. I've always been afraid of dentists and she and her staff made me feel very welcome, comfortable and at ease. the office was clean. The staff very friendly. Dr. Himm had a wonderful bedside manner. I needed a crown and Dr. Himm made it in the office and it looks so real I can't believe it. No waiting - no labs - no temporary crown. Done all in one day. Awesome !!! I would recommend Himm Family Dentistry to anyone who asked.

Dr HIMM is amazing! She takes her time, very friendly, and does great work. You're not just another person sitting in her chair. She talks to you, she makes a point of getting to know you, and each visit (for cleaning or otherwise) gets better. This place is relaxed, and they pipe great music while you're in there ( oh... and Dr Rebecca CAN sing!!!) She takes our insurance so I can't talk about that - but I can say I've never had an issue with any bill. I hope this was helpful

They screwed up and charged me $200 for a filling when it was their fault. Also, every filling I have had filled my mouth has been sore and painful afterwards. Don't waste your time going here.
