Dr. Israelson obtains advanced digital 3D images of your teeth and jaw as part of his diagnostics. These images allow him to plan your dental implant and other treatments, without exploratory surgery, in most cases. Our ultrasonic scalers clean teeth more thoroughly and comfortably than conventional hand instruments.
Dr. Hilton Israelson is a periodontist, a dentist who specializes in treating the soft tissues and bone surrounding the teeth and in placing dental implants. He has been providing periodontal services to the residents of Greater Dallas since 1981.
Dr. Israelson is skilled and experienced in all aspects of periodontics. In addition to private practice, he has been an educator to other dentists for over 40 years, and has participated in numerous periodontal research studies. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the highest status awarded to a periodontist for knowledge and clinical expertise.
A passion for helping people, along with his brother 's example led him to become a periodontist. 'My older brother became a dentist and I saw how fulfilling his work with patients was, so I decided to follow his path,' he says. 'I am honored to be able to help my patients improve their quality of life by improving their oral function and the aesthetics of their smile.'
Dr. Israelson's philosophy is to provide the same, excellent care to his patients that he would wish to receive himself. Our patients comment on his kind nature, and how he puts them at ease by fully explaining what will happen in their procedures and answering their questions. They note how precise and gentle he is when giving treatment, and how this inspires confidence.
Outside of the dental school, Dr. Israelson is part of a team of practitioners that teach dentists how to create well-fitting and aesthetic replacement teeth for patients receiving dental implants. He also runs a study club for local dentists.
Dr. Israelson has also earned numerous recognitions for his contributions as a member of professional societies and associations. He has received the President's Awards from the American Dental Association, the Texas Society of Periodontists and the Texas Dental Association. In 2016 he received the Texas Dental Association's Gold Medal for Distinguished Service - the highest honor given to one of its members.

I have been going to Dr Israelson since 1986. He and his staff are amazing and caring and really good. Even when I lived in California and Houston I came back for him to treat me. I do recommend Dr Israelson and his entire staff.

The whole staff at this office is incredible! The hygienist, Joyce, was quick AND thorough. Dr. Israelson was so gentle during his exam, it was wonderful. The front office staff was quick and professional as well. They're taking temperatures, making sure you have no COVID symptoms, and making sure the office is taking every precaution they can. Definitely recommend this office!

I am new to the Dallas area and my current periodontist is located in Jackson, MS. After realizing I had an infection and could not go home to MS to see my doctor, he recommended Dr. Israelson. Dr. Israelson fit me in that same day and got me on medication to save my implant so I would not have to replace it! I am so thankful for Dr. Israelson and his staff for their kind and genuine care for their patients.

I was referred to Dr. Israelson for an oral surgical procedure and was seen at the scheduled appointment time. Dr. Israelson made me feel at ease and explained the procedure thoroughly. The staff was very friendly and the exam room was clean. Once he completed the procedure, Dr. Israelson explained the recovery process and scheduled a follow-up. The cost of the procedure was very fair. I healed faster than expected and the follow-up was quick and easy. I will definitely go back to him for any future issues.

He is a great doctor! Soft spoken, very thorough, made me feel comfortable about my gum graft surgery, answered all of my questions, and was readily available when I needed him! Lisa in the front office is also very sweet, kind and caring! She has always been very great about any questions I may have and always relays any questions/concerns I have called about to Dr. Israelson quickly! I would absolutely recommend him!
