I am a dental phobic and find that the staff, hygienist Annalise and dentists are the most caring and compassionate people. From making (and changing) my appointments to my actual experience is calming and makes it easier for me to show up and be treated. I would recommend them to anyone whether a dental phobe or not. I call Annalise an artist and marvel at how she works gently and calmly in my mouth. I am grateful to have found them... oh and if needed they are able to provide alternative sedation, which I have but needed to this point and that has never happened before for me

Couldn't be happier with making my choice to visit today -- after looking at literally hundreds of reviews from several dozen dentists. First of all putting off the dentist for awhile and going back is sort of scary enough on its own, but I was going in for an emergency issue too. The subdued coloring in the waiting room has a calming effect, and the receptionist was prompt with greeting and was able to squeeze me in. Really was my lucky day because I can't imagine going anywhere else now that I've been here! I was seen sooner than I expected and was walked back through an updated and modern space for x-rays. The technician (and also dental asst?) was outstanding! She was clearly knowledgeable, perceptive, and liked what she was doing which made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She is a shining star of the operation for newcomers especially. Then I met with the Dr. and had a thorough exam and he told me exactly what I needed and if I would like a plan for immediate services or for additional non-emergency needs as well. I chose to just have plan and price for immediate needs which was reasonable. It could have been more, and I feel I would be hard-pressed to find for anything less especially for this quality of care. The Dr. himself was pleasant, professional, and entire demeanor was comforting. It felt like I was in good hands-- and that's what I was looking for. I'm looking forward to continuing services here and will recommend for anyone else to do the same. Save yourself the time and anxiety of scouting reviews or worse choosing the wrong place. Do yourself a favor and book online right now. Huge thanks to the entire team at Hillview!

I had a great visit with the dentist himself some time ago. Unfortunately I called recently to schedule a cleaning and pay cash or credit card but was told they only take insurance. Rather than charge me the full price, it seemed the only interest was to move on to someone that they could charge the insurance more money and not one of customer service. Truly disappointed.

Mask policy is completely asinine. Waited 30 min for a ten minute cleaning. As soon as I refused unnecessary diagnostic imaging, customer service quality plummeted. Dentist was barely personable. Hygienist was cold and incredibly short. Administrative staff are nothing but salesmen who try to upsell. Unprofessional from start to finish, but won't be back based on mask policy alone.

I have never been a fan of going to the dentist; that all ended today. I was greeted by a very friendly receptionist who processed my insurance with no problem. Dr Hodge and his staff of professionals were so kind and gentle and thorough. I had a great appointment. If you are fearful of dental procedures please go to Hillview Family Dental. Extremely professional and pain free.....best experience ever.

I love Hillview Dental. The space is lovely from front to back and the people more so. Angela Smith is especially deserving of 5 stars. Her professionalism and level of excellence is reassuring. She explains every thing from the procedure to the cost, making it all easy to understand. She's empathetic and takes her time. I highly recommend Angela and thank her for the new smile we're working on!

I had a great experience at Hillview Family Dental today. The level of caring and commitment was palpable at all levels from reception check in to check out . Dr. Bettner, Amy and Angela were each outstanding and took the time to explain the reasons for their recommendations in a manner and level of detail that I have not experienced before. Going to a new dentist for the first time can be nerve-racking.. Thank you for making the process a comfortable and informative one.

Great experience, even from the phone call to make the appointment! Everyone is very friendly and professional. This practice was recommended to us by a friend after hearing our poor experience at another local dentist and we cannot say enough great things about this place.

Just had an exam but the Staff were very friendly and professional. The radiology tech was very personable and efficient. Dr. Bettner has a wonderful bedside manner. I look forward to seeing them in the very bear future for my cleaning

This was one of the most successful dentist visits I've had in a long time. Friendly staff and no payment anxiety because this office not only gave me the price before they started but they also have My next visit priced out as I was paying for this one! Ill be only useing this office from now on

Best cleaning and dentist visit I ever experienced. I have had not so pleasant experiences at other dentist since moving to Sarasota 13 years ago. This was pain free and there was no pressure to have unnecessary work done. Analise is very professional, explaining every service provided beforehand and she worked efficiently and with care. Hillview Family Dentistry cares about my time, budget, comfort, and health.

The experience at Hillview has always been positive. This particular time I came in with a problem of a cap that was coming off. Dr. Nagle explored the situation did not just pull it off without taking a look at the x-rays. She noticed a line through the tooth root. She went back to look at the previous x-rays to compare. This Is the kind of dedication to make sure OfThe best solution.

Everyone at Hillview Dental was wonderful!! Given my fear of dentists, they completely put me at ease and comfortable. Dr. Hodge was great! He listened to what I was hoping to achieve long term as well as explained other avenues I could take. My brother-in-law highly recommended this dental office to me and I am so happy that he did!
