Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.

An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.

Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Loved my hygienist, Steven. He was so gentle and personable, as was Dr. Tuft! Minerva at the front desk was just as nice. Great dental group with all the latest equipment! Highly recommend them!

Staff is incompetent with scheduling and has either miss scheduled or rescheduled almost all of my appointments! it is beyond frustrating when you start to dread getting a phone call from your dental office!

Had an absolutely great experience at Hilltop! I have avoided the dentist for years, but the staff here were very welcoming and friendly. Minerva and Mallely were the absolute best, they were thorough, well organized and answered all my small questions. Dr. Tutt and the hygienist Ashlee both helped me understood what I needed and gave a full explanation for all their recommendations, which I extremely appreciated. The treatment went smoothly and I didn't feel rushed nor did they take forever. Overall it was a great experience and I couldn't recommend it more. The front staff even had a pumpkin competition that they had invited patients to vote on! Very family friendly, and I am very glad I found them.

Dr Tutt is just the best...THE actual BEST! He explains things so easy to understand and gives the options for treatment. He has a wonderful calming manner. He does impeccable work even with a complicated patient like me. His office staff and assistants are caring and helpful. I used to panic when going to the dentist, but no more. I have been going here several years. Would not go elsewhere. My daughter also sees him. He's great with kids too.

Top notch dentist office. I have 60 years of experience on the receiving end in the big chair. The staff is warm friendly and knowledgeable. Their equipment and technique are state of the art. Don't procrastinate on your dental care it will cost you! I'm a senior on Medicare with no dental coverage however I was able to purchase dental insurance through their office for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this place.

I've been coming here for years and I have always found the staff professional, courteous and ethical. Most of them now know me by name - it's nice to be treated like a person and not like a number. My treatment has been a struggle but the hygienist, dentist, oral surgeon and the rest of the staff feel with me, so I really appreciate it. I'm a patient for life.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! What an awesome office staff and Dr. Tutt is hands down one of the best Dentists that I have ever been too. Every time I go there Dr. Tutt is kind, attentive, detail oriented, VERY GENTILE, and fast, without being rushed! He and Grace made my comfort a priority throughout my procedure, even giving me a blanket when I got a little chilly! (Who does that?) He answered every question completely and was thoughtful enough to ensure that I understood everything that I needed to have done, while offering me information that I didn't think to ask. I have had several root canals in my lifetime, but NEVER, ever like this one. Not only was it virtually painless, the calm atmosphere and easy banter of Dr. Tutt and his assistant, Grace, made my visit and procedure very comforting and even enjoyable. (I know hard to believe, but it was!) Let me just say this, if you are even the slightest bit uneasy about dental work (as I am), and want the best quality work and honest, caring staff and doctor, not to mention the "top shelf" attention, then Hilltop Smiles Dentistry and Orthodontics, is my recommendation.

I would not recommend this office. We started my childs orthodontic treatment plan there, and halfway into it decided to go somewhere else for the remainder of her treatment plan. Staff was o.k. but overall not a very cohesively run office. One visit they told me my daughter needed a graft on her gums and wanted to do it that day as the specialist was there on this particular day, I was not comfortable with this, and went to an outside specialist who did an excellent job of explaining and caring for my child, and then found another local orthodontist who was amazing and completed the remainder of her treatment. If you get the feeling something isn't quite right...trust your feelings.

Had to get all four wisdom and two other teeth removed. I have a disability that made me very uncomfortable about going under general anesthesia and communicated that with every staffer I spoke to. They told me that no one, in the office or anywhere else, would do the removal locally because of where the nerve was. Long story short: I had a very bad reaction to sedation and instead of taking responsibility for ignoring my wishes, they tried to blame my use of cannabis (which alleviates my symptoms without harsh side effects as has been my medical history). Post-op I went somewhere else to be told Hilltop's oral surgeon removed too much bone, sutured skin to my gumline, and caused trismus (by nicking the nerve they so badly wanted to avoid by putting me out). I have yet to find out if it's permanent as it hasn't been two weeks since the surgery yet. And since I can't open my mouth past two fingers, it's going to be quite impossible to finish the work that still needs to be done. I still have two wisdoms and a tooth to come out. With the lockjaw, I don't know when that will happen. AND with "the several hoops that need to be jumped through" (direct quote from office staff) I won't be receiving my refund for who knows how long. I am FURIOUS. This isn't like someone messed up a car repair or accidentally broke a computer. THIS IS MY BODY. I have to live with this additional and unnecessary pain. And what frustrates me the most is I TRUSTED THEM. If I had just walked out and got a second opinion, I could have avoided all this. Other offices have said they would have done local. Other doctors have said cannabis does not cause reactions like I had. And any other time I have had an issue with service, I certainly have not had to be the one jumping through hoops to make it right.

Went in to have a tooth pulled that was bothering me, which I was assured wouldn't be a problem with my insurance. Some how that turned into trying to upsell me to an oral surgeon so I could have two wisdom teeth that aren't bothering me removed and then the actual tooth that was bothering me taken out, two weeks from now. When I asked why the oral surgeon/surgery, they suggested I be sedated because, like any normal person, I fould the x-rays uncomfortable. After my insurance, I'd be responsible for $1400 out of pocket. I left with my tooth still bothering me and an appointment with an oral surgeon I have to cancel because I don't have an extra $1400 dollars laying around, and they wanted to save my fresh $2000 deductable in 2021 for cleanings and routine exams?
