Our flagship dental office, Painesville Dental Group, first opened its doors in 1969. Since then, we have added three additional dental offices to better serve patients in our communities. Dental Group of Jefferson joined the PDG family in 1971 Chardon Smile Center in 2008 and Hilltop Family Dental in 2019. In 2020, Painesville Dental Group relocated to a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility custom-built to offer patients better, more modern and streamlined oral healthcare experiences. After completing his undergraduate degree, Dr. Slezak went on a mission trip to Costa Rica and Panama in 2010. He was tempted to volunteer for both the medical team and the dental team, but the leaders made him choose just one. He chose dentistry, which is a decision hes been grateful for ever since. The experience was fantastic overall, but there was one point where he was cleaning a young girls teeth. It was her first time ever visiting the dentist, and when she was finished, she got a goodie bag. She looked inside the bag, pulled out her new purple toothbrush, and then sprinted to her mom with a big smile. That was the moment when he knew this field was the perfect fit for him!

After studying at the University of California in San Diego, Dr. Slezak pursued his dental doctorate at Case Western Reserve University. He also completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Cleveland Clinics main campus. Today, he is a proud member of the American Dental Association and Ohio Dental Association. He has also completed state-of-the-art continuing education at the prestigious Pankey Institute.

Dr. Slezak is happily engaged to his tolerant fianc Ashley, who is a pharmacist. They are planning a wedding for May of 2023. He also has his parents who live in Southern California (hes trying to tempt them to move out this way), a sister who works halfway around the world in Africa, and a Golden Retriever puppy named Ramsay. As for hobbies, you can typically find him playing video games, jumping into a game of baseball or soccer, playing golf, shooting guns, exercising, or being obsessed with lawncare.

Briana is originally from Chardon, and she studied at both Lake Erie College and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. One of her favorite parts of being a hygienist is getting to meet new people! She always works hard to help patients feel comfortable in her chair, and she wants them to leave feeling much better than when they came in.

Briana is blessed to have the most amazing family, which includes her brother, her mother, and her dad. She is also currently engaged to a wonderful, kind man and cant wait to start on a new journey with him. In her spare time, she loves anything to do with cars, dancing, attending church at Chester Christian Center, and helping her mom with events.

Angelas career in the dental field spans 30+ years! She completed her EFDA training at Case Western Reserve University. Today, shes always ready to go the extra mile for our patients, teaching them plenty about the importance of good oral health.

Angela is the proud mom of grown boy/girl twins who are currently seniors at Kent. As for her own interests, she enjoys being outdoors, camping, hiking, taking road trips, gardening, practicing photography, cooking, working out, and reading.

A Chardon native, Margaret has been working in the dental field for over eight years. She really enjoys interacting with our patients and her coworkers each day. Everyone promotes a great culture of teamwork, which is vital when it comes to providing the best service possible!
