I have been at Hillside since 2009 and love being a part of a team that is warm, friendly, and always professional. I started my dental career 2003 when my children started school and have found it to be a great fit for my family and me.
I am a native Oregonian and grew up locally. I have been blessed with three wild and crazy guys: my sons Will Sam and my wonderful husband Cliff. I enjoy all my boys activities: football, basketball, and school. As a family, we enjoy spending a lot of time at our family cabin hiking, swimming, rafting, and biking.
Alecia began working in the dental field in 2010 and enjoys getting to know the patients as they come into the office. As jack of all trades (and master of none) she enjoys ballroom, salsa and swing dance, photography, wood working, cars, and music.
I have lived all over the US, but live the Pacific the best (being here the longest). I am married and have two daughters, Leila and Shaida. They keep our family busy with sports and volunteer work I do.
I have been in the dental field for the past 14 years and am a member of the American Dental Assistants Association. I love helping people and making them smile. Since smiling is my favorite thing to do, I love giving patients the smile they have always wanted.
I am from Utah, but have been in North Carolina for the past 12 years. I moved to the PNW to be closer to family; I have five siblings, ten nieces, and three nephews. I love to travel and have been to Brazil, Dominican Republic, and Hungary. My favorite holidays are my birthday and half birthday. There is always a countdown to these holidays in case you ever forget!
I attended Oregon State University and graduated from Oregon Health Sciences University in 1982 with a B.S. in Dental Hygiene. I have enjoyed working at Hillside Dental Care since 1986! Caring for patients and their specific needs, as well as being a part of their dental team, is a special aspect of my job that I love. I am also lucky to work with an outstanding group of committed individuals who care about the patients and their dental health.
I have two sons, Bradley and Adam, both graduates of colleges in Oregon, so my husband and I are testing out the empty-nest idea with our Yorkie terrier, Lily. In my free time, I like to hike, read, garden, do all kinds of craft projects, and eventually do more traveling!
I started my education in my hometown in Southern Oregon. I finished as a dental hygienist at PCC in 2018. My passion is to fight the stigma of the dental office and make it an enjoyable experience. Im very thankful to be working in this office with such friendly doctors and staff. Im an overall enthusiastic person and thoroughly enjoy making sure peoples mouths are taken care of for their overall health
I was born and raised in Oregon. I moved to Idaho for college and attended BYU-Idaho were I graduated with an AS in Electrical Engineering. In 2005, I graduated from Idaho State University with a BS in Dental Hygiene. I love getting to know my patients and helping them with their overall health. I look forward to the friendships formed through their regular visits.
My family and I eventually moved back to Oregon ten years ago and have loved living in the Portland area raising my five kids. When I am not at work, I love to Salsa dance, snowboard, run, go on hikes, camp, take beach trips, and any outdoor adventure I can take my kids on.

Dr. Braxmeyer received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree fromOregon Health & Science Universityin 2007, and she is currently a member of theWashington County Dental Society, theOregon Academy of General DentistrytheInternational Academy of Facial Esthetics, and the American Dental Association. Dr. Braxmeyer is always doing continuing education classes so that she can keep up with the most current techniques and technology.
Dr. Braxmeyer is committed to taking the time needed with each patient to build a good doctor-patient relationship. She knows each patient is different and will listen to individual concerns and needs, then explain all treatment options so patients can make informed decisions that work best for them.
Dr. Waterman grew up in Northern California. She moved to Oregon in 2000 to attend OHSU where she started her career in the dental field as a hygienist. Dr. Waterman practiced dental hygiene for four years before going back to dental school where she received her dental degree in 2010 from OHSU. Dr. Waterman loves helping people achieve the smile theyve always wanted. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and has additional training in cosmetics, Invisalign, and sleep apnea.

Dr. Braxmeyer and her team of warrior women are the best in Beaverton/Portland. Every single person at the practice is top notch and I actually like going to the dentist since I found Hillside Dental.

My experiences at Hillside thus far have been extremely pleasant. Everyone I have encountered has been very kind. I would certainly recommend this place for your dental needs. A complete 180 from a previous dentist I had in Beaverton. A real breath of fresh air.

Best Dental care I have ever had and the staff feel like you have known them your whole life. I have had a bit of work done and I couldn't give them a better recommendation. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family. The atmosphere is incredible, a real gem.

All the people at Hillside Dental are wonderful! I have really bad anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist and they are the perfect fit for me. The whole staff is kind, gentle, friendly, and patient. What more can you ask for?

Such a great team at Hillside, Star is my hygienist and she's amazing! I'm usually nervous about going to the dentist, but she works fast and talking with her helps me chill. Allison, my partner's hygienist, is equally talented as well. Maryanne in the front office has always been helpful and responsive to our concerns. At one point we had a billing issue while she was on vacation, and although we weren't expecting a response until she returned, she still helped us resolve the issue. (Please don't retire!) Last but not least, Dr. Braxmeyer is really good at what she does, based on my partner's experience getting Invisalign last year. It was a long process, but he is very pleased with the results. We trust Dr. Braxmeyer and the team at Hillside immensely, and we appreciate their hard work. It does not go unnoticed, thank you!

Fantastic dental office! Always a fun, positive place to go. We've been going there for almost 10 years now and have never had anything but a great experience. We've had different hygienists over the years and they've all been great but we are especially fond of Kim, who has such a calm, friendly & professional demeaner. It's also a treat when you get to spend time with Dr. Braxmeyer. She and everyone in the practice have become extensions of our family.

I've been going to Dr Elise Braxmeier and the Hillside Dental team for years, and have always had excellent care with them. They are very safety conscious, and are really good at explaining any concerns and approaches for dental procedures. I highly recommend them for adults and children.
