Dr. Andrew Forster is a native Oregonian whose interest in dentistry began at an early age thanks to a family history of dental professionals. With a strong educational background and passion for health care, he provides the highest level of treatment utilizing modern technology, informed decision making and always keeping the interests of the patient in mind. Dr. Forster is constantly benefiting from continued education focusing on improved treatment approaches, new materials and better, long-term results. A member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association and Washington County Dental Society, Dr. Forster provides minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry with an emphasis on prevention.
Dr. Forster graduated from the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry following undergraduate education at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and research experience at OHSU. Originally from the small farming community of Nehalem in north Tillamook County on the coast, Dr. Forster is fond of outdoor activities including bicycling, hiking and fishing in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Intraoral cameras and monitors allow you to see what we see. Heated neck pillows, blankets, lavender scented towels, soothing music, massage chairs and computer monitors are just some of the little things that may change the way you think and feel about dentistry. Dr. Forrester and his staff are the best. They always make sure you are well informed regarding any procedures you will or could have and are there for any questions. They also will bend over backwards for their patients.

Hillside Dental at Bethany has the best service and professional attitude of any medical office that I've ever been to. They've got the best Covid-19 practices I've seen, giving me complete peace of mind during my visit. The staff goes above and beyond any of my expectations. Dr. Andy Forster and his team are all incredibly welcoming, caring, competent, and super friendly. I could not be happier with the experiences I've had with my visits this year. The attention to detail and incredible dentistry skills that Dr. Forster possesses are quite impressive. Another thing I liked about Andy was the way he explained all the pros and cons of my dental options. Communication skills are important in order to earn my trust and make me feel at ease. The office was also able to meet all of my scheduling challenges and even offered flexible options for follow up appointments. I highly recommend Dr. Forster and his team to anyone searching for a new dentist. Professional, kind, and affordable are the three best words I can think of to describe Hillside Dental in Bethany. I have been seeing Dr. Forster for dental care for nearly 3 years. I have gotten great care and genuinely appreciate his professionalism and friendliness. I have never been hurt while receiving care and, though I have historically been a more anxious patient, I relax with Dr. Forster and have total trust in him. With Covid-19, Dr. Forster has taken extraordinary measures to protect his patients and staff. I especially like a new and very high-tech "suction" machine that basically inhales any potentially virus-laden droplets and aerosols that either I or staff emit so that dental work can be done in a very safe manner.

ARRIVED 1 hr too early for my appointment. Got in for treatment 15 minutes later. Everyone is a professional and pleasant! I'm seeing Dr. Andrew Foster for more than 10 years. I've been a patient at Hillside for a few years and have always received the very of care. Brandi is our favorite hygienist and we look forward to seeing her every six months. Meeting with doctor Forster is always a real treat. He has a unique sense of humor that makes us smile. You can tell he cares about quality and detail when he checks after every cleaning. Highly recommend.
