My boys have loved coming here since they were 2. They are always so excited to go to the dentist. The doctors and staff are so warm and welcoming, cute theming in the practice with lots of easy distractions for the kids to make it fun! Always a highlight and leaving with their "goodie bag" with new toothbrush! Will recommend them to everyone!

Good doctors but incompetent front desk staff. They will not notify you that your insurance is no longer accepted untill you start getting bills. They apparently can't tell the difference between plus and a minus, i had a remaining positive $50 balance they saw as negative essentially cheating me out of 100$, i had to call and argue to have them admit to it. When scheduling appointments they right down refuse to disclose when is next evening or weekend availability (i don't mind waiting) and instead they insist you come in mid day. To the good doctors I recommend getting a better front desk staff, looks like the current ones are only good at replying to Google reviews, perhaps they should focus on the job a bit more .

This is a Dr. Patel review. My child was seen by a general dentist but needs nitrous so we came to see Dr. Patel with x-rays. Dr. Patel refused to treat and did a "limited exam" but recommended an extraction and a filling. They didn't have an appointment for another 6 weeks. Dr Planz is amazing but we likely won't be back.

I was dreading bringing my almost 5 year old to the dentist and today proved all of the recommendations true. My daughter was so nervous and almost cried when she sat for X-rays. I was just about to step in when the wonderful women who were helping us immediately calmed her nerves. From that moment on, every part of our visit was wonderful. She wasn't scared at all and every single person made her feel comfortable. Thank you Dr. Shah and the entire staff!

Dentist has been always friendly and I have been taking my son to see her for past four years. A few months ago, I switched insurance and realized that her office does not take it or I would end up paying out of my pocket. So I decided to go elsewhere. However, front desk kept calling me asking the reason I left. I explained the insurance situation and they told me to bring my son and I would only pay 60 dollars. On day of visit, the front desk person (after making us wait 20 mins) stated our insurance shows as terminated. I told her it was impossible specially that the termination date is EXACT date as activation date. I even told her that insurance is debiting my account each month and asked her to call. She informed my husband and I that she already double checked in her system and it shows terminated and the visit will cost 290 dollars. My husband got very upset and stated it was not right for them to drag us here after he already provided them with insurance info prior to visit and then tell us AT the visit there is an issue. My husband expressed his frustration and the lady in the front stands up (as in challenging him) and says to him if you want to see the dentist, it will be 290. He demanded to speak to the office manager then she says with an attitude, I AM THE OFFICE MANAGER. I was shocked at her behavior. Customer service is all about SERVICE. Front desk is the facade of each doctor's office. I was very disappointed. Dentist did not even come out once to rectify the situation. We have been seeing her since my son was 2. Whoever that young lady in the front desk was...she was rude and unprofessional. Her job is to find a solution; not give attitude no matter how upset a client/patient is. We walked out with my husband saying "we will not be coming back" her reply "tell me where you want your records sent". I was speechless.

The detist is very friendly and patient. However, the front desk clerks are poorly trained. Earlier this year, I called the office and to postpone my daughter's regular check up a week later (about 2-3 days ahead of her original appoitment). The front desk lady did it for me. When we showed up for our arranged check up, the front desk lady asked me to pay for a late change of appointment fee because I gave them short notice of rescheduling. I told her that I rescheduled 3 days ahead of my appointment, but she insisted that I called on the same day of the original appointment. So I asked her to show me the prove, which she could not. The front desk lady then pulled out an agreement I signed a year ago, with a small note on the bottom that I agree to pay for late/cancelling fees. I was a little bit annoyed, because the note was in an unnoticable place and when I was signing it there, nobody even point out the note to me. So I told them this is a very malicious term and I request a waive for the fee due to first time violation. It took about half hour to get the whole issue solved, and the front desk lady was very rude during the whole process. My kids like the doctor there, but I am not sure if I want to go back or not. If I could find another kids dentist close, I think I want to switch. ============== update: the office manager called me and expressed apology for what I have experienced. After all, my kids like the service provided and doctor and nurse was really patient and friendly with the kids. I think we will keep going there in the future.
