An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

This is a bit overdue, but growing up I had enough bad experiences with Dentists that I swore off going altogether. When I finally decided it was time to go as an adult here I was practically shaking in the chair, before meeting the Dentist. Dr. Duro changed my perception on day one, and I can not say enough great things about his staff & him. He understood where I was coming from, he takes his time in explaining things, and genuinely cares for his patients' experience and comfort. If you've been holding out on going to a dentist, visit Dr. Duro, you will not regret it. That's coming from someone who went almost 10 years avoiding Dental offices!

As a new client, I would not recommend this dentist. I was a bit caught off guard with my first appointment, all they did was take X-rays and I had to schedule to come in 2 weeks later for a standard cleaning. Never had to do that before. Then, with less than 12hr notice they changed my cleaning appointment start time by an hour which I could not accommodate with such short notice so I called back to cancel my appointment. I also need my wisdom teeth removed and the dentist said multiple times that I would be sent an email with more info and pricing which I did not receive. As someone with extremely high anxiety who has avoided dentists for 5 years now due to negative experiences, I am very disappointed in my experience with this office.

Highly recommend Dr. Durometer and his team. All very friendly and efficient. It has been a few years since I had my teeth cleaned when u first came in. They helped me get my gums back in shape and didn't make me feel bad that I had skipped some cleanings.

I have been going here for the past 3 years and see no reason to stop. The front of house staff are amazing, friendly and so helpful it's almost beyond belief. Drs. Nijar and Duro are wonderful. I always get their undivided attention when I have an appointment to address any concerns or questions.

I've been seeing Dr. Duro at Hillsboro Modern Dentistry for the past few years. He's very approachable and explains any issues clearly. The staff members are all very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are modern and open so I don't feel claustrophobic. The only negative is that it's sometimes difficult to schedule appointments. I usually schedule my exams a few months out so it's not too bad.

I lived overseas for a long time but always stopped here when home because they are simply fantastic. Now that I'm back in the US, they continue to be the best at what they do. My emergency need for a crown was met with efficiency and smiles AND they so took care of my daughter who is terrified of dental work. Thanks for going above and beyond!
