An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

Went here as a new patient. Got a bill with duplicate charges and noticed that I was charged for lots of differnt kinds of imaging. Would have been nice to have known that was the other imaging was going to cost more. 4 imaging charges, standard xrays, and a panoramic xray seems a bit excessive and more of a money grab. I am no medical billing expert so I tried to call the office but got a corperate phone voice mail and no return call. The people were nice so that adds a star; however I would not recomend this office with so many others in the area where I have not had this issue before.

It has been so long since I have seen this level of professional, yet genuine common courtesy. It was fun! I had a broken crown replaced, and it was FUN! Everyone in that office was joyful, professional and just an absolute pleasure. Crown fit perfect. I would give more stars, but it only allows 5. Mike Kindel

Horrible experience. PATIENT BEWARE!! They told me my tooth was fixed and I paid for the procedure. I looked at the tooth and it still had many black spots. I got a second opinion, and they said the tooth was not even stable enough to hold the fillings they had put in. I had to have the tooth pulled and still pay for the work hillsboro dentist did, even though it was done in poor judgement on their part. I decided to give them a second chance. They put me on a payment plan for a crown, which I paid on each month. They gave me a paper explaining the costs. They scheduled the procedure in 4 separate appointments. Each time I went in they added additional costs on top of the payment plan. All for the same procedure on the same tooth. When I held up the paper they had given me outlining the full procedure and costs, they would simply say, "Yeah, but that doesn't include..." After they did this to me several times, I called the companies head department. They told me they would rectify it and never did. I called the director many times and they simply stopped returning my calls. I waited and waited for someone to help, all the while my bill is getting higher for non payment. I even went to the location and got turned away. To this day, I owe thousands for a procedure that never got completed. I never finished the procedure because each time I went in the bill got higher and I was afraid to go in again. The full bill finally hit my credit and ruined my score. I was left with nothing but a filed down nub for a tooth. When I finally switched dentists and asked them to finish the procedure, they told me Hillsboro Dentist had removed so much of the tooth structure that it wouldn't even hold a crown anymore. Worst dentist ever. Negative ten stars.

I can not say enough good things about the staff at Hillsboro Dentist Office. You can tell that all of them truly care about their patients. The dentist I saw made sure each step of the way that I was not in any pain. I just had a two hour crown put on and unlike normally where I need to have someone else drive me home because I am sensitive to anesthesia. At no time was I in any real pain. The dentist was gentle and also answered all my questions. I am only hoping that this dentist stays in our community for a long time.

Everyone was friendly from start to finish! As you enter the practice, there's a very warm, welcoming feeling from the staff. I needed my premolars extracted in order to start braces. My procedure, went very smooth with Dr. Gutierrez! Dr. Gutierrez is an incredible dentist. He is quite the artist at what he does and puts his patients mind at ease and has an excellent bedside manner. If any of my friends or family need any dental work, I would recommend that they see Dr. Gutierrez with out a question or doubt! Thank you so much Dr. Gutierrez! Will definitely be coming back! Also the dental assistants working their go above and beyond! Shout out to Jen and Josh! :)

So amazing! Doctor Krishna was great, Emma was friendly and informative, and Rachel had me laughing and feeling totally at ease from the moment I walked in the door. The perfect place for someone who has always struggled with anxiety at the dentist.

Was really great my first time around, but there were too many inconsistencies in conversations for me when I was attempting to get my wisdom teeth removed. Appointment suddenly canceled (I almost think they didn't even schedule me, since it was a next day cancellation after I called to make it) and pricing changed multiple times from in the office, to my first phone call, to my second phone call. Astronomically high pricing for a single tooth with local anesthetic only as well. Over $500- no thank you. I took my business elsewhere, too many red flags. I won't be going back here.

Friendly staff, awesome dentist's, can get you in last minute (sign on door says they accept emergency walk-ins, too!) And still take their time to give comprehensive care. Will definitely be coming back.
