Dr. Hilleary was born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. He graduated from Morgantown High School in 1996, and completed his undergraduate studies at West Virginia University in 2000, earning his degree in Biology. Dr. Hilleary graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2004 with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Following completion of dental school, Dr. Hilleary decided to stay close to his roots and remain in the area. He has practiced dentistry in his current location since that time, first working as an associate dentist before transitioning to partner. Dr. Hilleary eventually purchased the practice from Dr. Taylor in 2012.
Dr. Hilleary met his wife, Dr. Tara Hilleary, in dental school, and have been married since 2004. They have two daughters, Madelyn and Anna Kate, and also two Chihuahuas. Dr. Hilleary enjoys traveling with his family, golfing, and attending WVU football and basketball games in his free time.
Dr. Hilleary is passionate about dentistry in his community and strives to deliver the best, most up-to-date comprehensive care to his patients. He regularly attends continuing education events and training to stay current on the latest advancements in dentistry. Dr. Hilleary is a member of the American Dental Association, West Virginia Dental Association, and Mon Valley Dental Society.

Dr. Hilleary is amazing! He and his staff are so kind and professional. he makes each visit pleasant and pain free. He takes time to get to know you and your family. They always get me in as soon as possible. the environment is so calm and relaxing. I would highly recommend Dr. Hilleary and his staff whether is just for your cleaning or more serious dental issues.

Absolutely fantastic dentist. The way they discuss a care plan with you is absolutely understandable and they stay on track 100%. Happy I chose this dentist when I moved up here

Dr.Hilleary is a amazing dentist, she made me feel so comfortable. All staff is pretty nice besides the office manager, she didn't even tell me her name. She's very rude on the phone and doesn't seem to want to help at all. You would think someone in that position would be nicer, especially when asked about a payment arrangements for an outstanding balance. I suggest saving your good mood and avoid talking to her

I went as a new patient due to bad experience elsewhere, and I reviewed many many dental practices in the area before choosing Hilleary Family Dentistry. After going to my first appt, they did nothing but EXCEED my expectations! The entire staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable! I have already referred a new patient to their practice and will continue to do so as I've finally found a place to call "home".

Dr. Hillary found a developing cavity and professionally and quickly filled it. No pain and, as always, a very caring dentist who makes the whole procedure comfortable while instilling confidence that the work is well done.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Hilleary and his team. I feel so at ease in getting dental work done and with my regular cleanings. They all take so much time and care about you, making sure that you are not in pain, your concerns are addressed and giving you a wonderful smile. Definitely a dentist I would recommend and have recommended to family and friends.
