Dr. Leah is dedicated to providing comprehensive dental care to every patient. Her philosophy is to treat oral health as a vital component of systemic health. While accomplished in all aspects of dentistry, she has advanced training in Implantology, Oral Surgery, Prosthodontics, and Temporomandibular Disorder. She is certified in A.C.L.S. and Oral Conscious Sedation, which contribute to her success with the truly anxious dental patient. She prides herself in her sensitive, caring, chair side manner. She enjoys giving back to her community and is truly passionate about the dentistry she practices.
Outside of the office, Dr. Leah enjoys the outdoors, Pilates, SCUBA diving, cooking, and learning the game of golf. She and her husband, Marc, are thrilled to be raising their daughters in west Petaluma.
Dr. Austin Griffith was born and raised in Sonoma County. After graduating from Rancho Cotate High School and Sonoma State University (BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry) he then graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 2011.
Dr. Griffith is married to Heather Anderson, a dentist in Santa Rosa. They have a daughter, Avery, who was born in 2016 and live in an old Victorian home together in Santa Rosa. Dr Griffith keeps up-to-date with new technologies and with scientific literature by participating in extensive continuing education and recently became a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He's also on the board of directors at the Redwood Empire Dental Society.
Dr. Strong, a Sonoma County native, grew up in Santa Rosa, CA, and attended Montgomery High School. She earned her Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences with a Minor in Spanish from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles while competing for four years on the USC soccer team. She continued her education, earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from USC in 2013. Dr. Strong chose to further her dental education and training, completing a 1 - year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry through Lutheran Medical Center in Ventura, CA.
While at USC and throughout her residency, Dr. Strong had the unique opportunity to work within diverse communities while also being trained in the latest dental techniques. Dr. Strong believes that the mouth is the gateway to the body and oral health can be a reflection of ones overall health. She feels that dentists have the unique opportunity to promote and monitor the overall health and well being of their patients.

I've been a long time client at Hillcrest and have always been happy with everything about them. Today, I had a crown put in and was so impressed with Dr Leah and her Associate, Ashley. Such great care by calm and competent people. They took what could have been a very nerve-wracking experience and made it one where I left feeling like leaving this review. I highly recommend this place all the way around!

My Mother, who is 102, has been going to see Dr. Strong. The care, patience and compassion that's been shown by her, as well as the team, is absolutely phenomenal. I see Dr. Leah, who is also excellent, and I love the hygienist.

Elena, Lori, Marie and the whole team are truly great. Some aspects of being a patient here which I enjoy are the cleanliness, communication, respectful tone of the staff, helpful reminders and billing team. They did their best to accommodate for me and make sure my teeth get the best possible care. They tightly manage the appointment book and are able to work well with difficult clients. I hope they pay them enough to stay in this town bcs they need their team here! My dentist is professional, quick and fact driven. The tech team helps me to feel good through the whole visit.

We are new Petaluma residents (2 years) and our former dentists highly recommended the Hillcrest practice. We have had dental cleanings and I had a new crown made and a inlay re-cemented. The front staff are friendly, professional, and efficient. The dental staff pay very close attention to my needs and preferences (I'm a white knuckle flyer in the chair) and treat me as an individual and take an interest in me as a person. In short, I am very, very satisfied with the care I receive, the respect of the dental team, the careful explanations, and the quality of work.

As a a decades-long fan of the folks at Hillcrest Denta, I always feel in such caring hands of Cheryl and Dr. Leah. The quality of care is really top-level, -- and increasingly so, as new technology is acquired -- conducting numerous exams and tests, and giving me thorough and detailed treatment, along with much good advice!
