Dr. Steven Hill received his DMD degree from the university of Pennsylvania in 1978. He practiced dentistry in the United Staes Naval Reserve from 1978- 1981. He then received his certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science degree in 1983 fromthe Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Dr. Hill opened his Endodontic practice in Commack, NY in 1983 and became partners with Dr. Edward Russo in 1988. He is an active member of Suffolk County Dental Society, New York StateDental Society, American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics and various dental study clubs.
Dr. Edward Russo is a lifelong resident of New York and has been practicing in Commack for over 20 years. Dr. Russo received his DMD (1985) and his certificate in Endodontics (1987) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He is an activemember of Suffolk County Dental Society, New York State Dental Society, American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontists and various study clubs.

From the staff; the receptionist, dental assistant and the expert endodontist Dr. Russo my experience is 5 Star all the way. Ive had two episodes in the past 8 yrs where it ended up that I needed root canals on three different teeth. I'm a denist's nightmare with my hysteria and fear yet I did not feel anything. I must share my experience with the dentists at Hill an Russo so you know you're in good hands. The doctors and staff are amazing. I am a dentistphobe and I did not even feel the novicane go in my mouth. Just to give you some context, this is my first time writing a review, so you know I am am pretty passionate about the care of these dentists. Hats off to the best around. And thank you Dr. Leo and Dr. Koys for the recommendation.

Russo is a not a good guy, watch out he will try and take all your teeth out so that he can make more on you. Bad craftsmanship, nothing but problems with rootcanal he performed. find some else. would not recommend.

Had to have 2 root canals (2 different times) and both times i was able to come in, in a timely manner (root canals are very painful), i was evaluated and all of my questions were answered, the procedure itself was as painless as possible, I thank Dr. Russo and Dr Hill as well as his staff for their expertise and skill in getting through 2 painful root canal procedures.

Thank you to Dr. Steve and Dr. Russo! It was my first time coming to this office and I was very nervous of losing my front teeth. After Dr. Steve evaluated me I was still worried about losing my teeth during the root canal. Up until the day of the root canal, I still had doubts and fears but Dr. Russo drew me a detailed picture of my teeth and explained in depth of what was going to happen. He made me feel no pain during the procedure and my fears of the dentist were wiped away. It was an amazing feeling and I'm so happy with their work and their personalities. I rated 5 stars but if there were 6 I would most definitely give it to them.-Tong
