Dr. Hill enjoys all aspects of dentistry, especially having the ability to make people smile, restore their self-confidence, and make the people around him feel welcome and happy. His kind and generous personality, and his desire to share with others, drew him toa career in dentistry.
Dr. Hill received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2005 from the Oregon Health & Science University. Continuing education is an essential part of Dr. Hills job as a dentist. He makes every effort to stay current with the latest advances in dentistry, and through continuing education courses, Dr. Hill is able to provide his patients with the most up-to-date care possible.
Born and raised in Grants Pass, Dr. Hill is proud to be serving the community in which he grew up. Withhis wifeKelle, he hasfour children:Brevik, Marly, Elliott and Wyatt. When hes not at the practice, Dr. Hill enjoys playing the guitar (he is a singer/songwriter; seewww.matthillband.com), steelhead fishing, traveling, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. Dr. Hill also enjoys giving back to the community; heprovides charity care to several patients each year at the practice.

I love dentistry because I love being a part of the reason that someone can love their smile. I graduated from the Rogue Community Collegedental assisting program in 2006 with my EFDA certificate. I never thought then that I would love my job as much as I do now. I am thankful to work with such an amazing team that has as much passion for this profession as I do!
My love for dentistry first began when I was a patient in the Orthodontists chair! Being in an environment surrounded by positive and genuine care for others is something I truly adored and desired to become a part of. Thats when I decided that I wanted to be involved in dentistry and helping others. Creating an enjoyable dental experience with modern technology is something I shoot to achieve daily. I cherish the relationships made both with staff and patients!
I was an expanded practice dental assistant nearly 10 years at Hill Dentistry, and now I am returning to my dental family as a new health care provider with even more enthusiasm for dentistry than before! I graduated from Portland Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene, and long-term, my goal is to complete my Bachelor of Dental Hygiene at the Oregon Institute of Technology to fulfill my desire of teaching other students someday.
Everyone has a calling, and I have found mine in practicing as a caring and compassionate dental hygienist. It is my mission to continually strive to provide optimal oral health care for the individual, and the community. I will be a strong advocate for the public's total health - observing the oral-systemic link - through education and prevention strategies using evidence-based practice. I am dedicated to help guide patients back to health and maintain a higher quality of life.
My roots are set deep in the mountains of Gold Hill near the river. I fell in love with the Rogue Valley right away and never wanted to leave. In my free time, I enjoy snow skiing, dirt biking, and hanging out on a boat. I attended OIT in Klamath Falls, earning my bachelor's degree in dental hygiene, which leads me here today to be part of the amazing team at Dr.Hill's.
I enjoy being in a profession that allows me to improve the health of my community and connect with my patients to make their experience the best. My goal is that each of my patients feel relaxed, comfortable to ask questions, and enjoy their experience!
I graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology with my Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2014. I am passionate about providing patients with comfort as well as the best care possible. The whole team at Hill Dentistry is passionate about caring for our patients and it is a joy to work with this team every single day.
Born and Raised in the beautiful Southern Oregon. I've been in dentistry for 21 years and love it! I've been involved with numerous community dental related events such as WOW Wagons which provided mobile dental care to District 7 children who couldn't otherwise receive dental treatment. Outside of work, I love to bless people with my cooking, mountain biking, quad riding and an occasional Karaoke performance! :)
