Dr. Michael Schwarze received his degree in Chemical Engineering in 1994 and his D.D.S. in 1998, both from the University of Minnesota. Following dental school, he completed the VA General Practice Residency Certificate in 1999. In 2001 Dr. Schwarze received his Specialty Certificate in Endodontics from the UTHSCSA. Michael is involved locally in New Braunfels, and is the current President of the local Dental Society. Michaels wife, Dr. Nasha Reddy, is a practicing OB/GYN in New Braunfels. Michael and Nashas pride and joy are Sarina and Nathan.
Dr. Suman Bathina comes to us with 20 years of dental experience. Dr. Bathina did his Endodontic Preceptorship at UCLA receiving his Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry in 2013. Currently, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Endodontics, Texas A&M College of Dentistry. He believes in To Teach is to Learn and is very thankful for the opportunity to teach. Dr. Bathina and his young son enjoy traveling and discovering new cultures and places.
Dr. Greer is a native-born Texan. He attended dental school in Houston, Texas. Upon graduation, he entered the US Army. While in the army, he completed a one-year advanced education in general dentistry, served a tour in Germany, and then was selected for and completed a two-year Endodontic residency. Dr. Greer has 28 years of dental experience, 21 of which as an Endodontist. For fun, he enjoys hiking and has been studying Spanish for the last three years. Dr. Greer and his wife have been blessed with 6 children.
Tanya has worked at Hill Country Endodontics for over 12 years. With that much experience and time, she has watched and been a part of our practice growing and becoming what it is today. Tanya enjoys helping patients understand their insurance benefits and treatment plan. She is a New Braunfels native and is full of love and compassion for our patients.
Ivonne came to us with over seven years of experience in the dental field. She is enthusiastic and willing to help our patients in all areas. She cares for each patient and strives to make our patients feel welcome and comfortable. Ivonne is proud to be a New Braunfels native and dedicated to our patients and the community.
Katie is the smile of the office! Her genuine smile will put you at ease, and let you know you are in good hands. She has eleven-plus years of dental office experience and is the perfect addition to our team. Katies happy disposition is highlighted by a soft hum, so dont be surprised when you hear a sweet sound coming from behind the desk!

Also, be honest about any anxiety you have about this procedure, visit, and about any previous dental procedures. In addition to offering no-charge sedation our doctors can best meet your needs provided you communicate any of the above issues.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to endodontic treatment (i.e. artificial heart valves and joints, high blood pressure, diabetes, rheumatic fever, pregnant, etc) or if you are on any medication (i.e. anticoagulant therapy, baby aspirin, heart medications, medications such as Fosamax, Boniva, Actonel, etc.) If any of these conditions apply to you, a clearance letter from your physician may be required prior to any endodontic procedure.
Radiographs (X-rays) If your dentist or physician has taken radiographs, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time for your dentist to mail them, please pick them up and bring them to our office or have your dentist email them to our office. Email:hcendo@sbcglobal.net. We will often take additional films to ensure an accurate diagnosis.

I was evaluated by both Dr Bathina and Dr Greer of Hill Country Endodontics for a painful abscess. I was scheduled for surgery with Dr Bathina but unfortunately due to my acute anxiety, he was not able to perform any kind of treatment on my tooth that day. Yesterday I had the pleasure to meet and consult with Dr Greer. After a very detailed discussion, it was determined that I would benefit the most with an implant at a local periodontist group. I was most impressed with the time Dr Greer spent with me, his professional recommendations, his meticulous detailed Plan Of Care, his cost awareness of treatment(s), his educational teachings and his compassion. Dr Greer is very genuine and has the gift that made me feel I was valued and cared about as a patient. As a medical professional, I believe the values and level of integrity that Dr Greer retains are difficult to find in our medical community these days. For all your endodontic needs, this group of specialists are highly recommended.

If I could give zero I would. They didn't work with us at all was continued repeating the se things because our insurance didn't cover. We were told a price when I bluntly asked how much. Saved up all month and they tell me that I was told about half of what I was needing to pay. Horrible and rude

I am very pleased with the professionalism of all staff and doctors. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I can tell they really care about their patients. 110% recommend Hill Country Endodontics. Although I hope I never have to see them again

The scheduling process made me so miserable that I ended up canceling altogether. They care more about whose insurance pays the most for procedures than patient care. I was paying with cash!

I had a root canal done here. If you are with Tricare do NOT go here. They are NOT in network, even if they say they accept Tricare.

Dr. Greer was so nice and super helpful. They worked me in, even staying late to make sure my pain was alleviated. Followed up with me the next day and several times throughout the weekend.

My regular dentist recommended Dr. Schwarze for my root canal. I was apprehensive about having a root canal since I've had one or two in the past and the pain was fairly intense. Let me just say, Dr. Schwarze did a fantastic job and I did not feel a thing! Even his shots were painless!!! The staff was friendly and very customer service oriented. Tonya at he front desk was very friendly and Crystal did a great job of making me fell comfortable and informed. Highly recommend this office for anyone who needs a root canal and appreciates professional friendly service.

Oh the dreaded root canal. Not anymore!! I just finished two root canals in two weeks time and I was completely amazed how relatively painless this procedure could be if performed by the right person. Dr. Greer is that person. Straight forward, informative and skilled beyond words. He will even personally check up on you after the procedure to see how you are doing. The staff there is great there as well. Friendly and efficient at their perspective jobs. I couldn't recommend them enough for the great work they perform there. Keep up the great work guys!!

This office provides excellent service! The front staff are welcoming and inviting. The assistants in the back are warm and helpful! Dr. Schwarze treated me for my root canal and I was so impressed! He is caring and answered all of my questions. He didn't rush through my appointment like most doctors do. I really appreciate his whole team and would highly recommend Hill Country Endodontics to anyone needing a root canal!

Dr. Greer performed a perfect and painless root canal on my #18 molar. He explained everything thoroughly and was very transparent with me throughout the entire consultation and procedure!! The staff are amazing and very accommodating!!!

Dr. Keiser and his entire staff out of this world fantastic!!! Experiencing extreme tooth pain, under current social conditions, Hill Country Endodontics got me in the same day for a root canal... Root canal procedure successful and immediately reduced/eliminated my pain!! I have had plain fillings done that were way more painful. The compassion, caring, and communication simply a pleasure, yes a root canal was a pleasure. I wish I remembered all the staff's names cause they were all stellar. Dr. Keiser was very thorough in every detail, and patient care #1 priority. If in need of quality, caring dental work this is the place hands down.

I had horrible pain and could not find anyone in Houston where I live to see me. I called Hill Country and they got me in the next day and performed root canal the same day of my appointment! They were amazing. Even went the extra mile to coordinate a prescription with my doctor back in Houston. The entire staff at Hill Country was excellent every step of the way. Give them a call, you won't be disappointed!!
