What I enjoy most about dentistry is witnessing a patients joy when he or she completes treatment and sees the results. Whether its regaining proper function or a smile that is bright and healthy, its those moments that make this profession special.
I truly appreciate the investment my patients put in me, and I dont take that lightly. Not many people look forward to going to the dentist, and I enjoy the challenge of improving each patients opinion of dental treatment and creating a positive association with our work. I value my patients trust, and I develop treatment plans with their best interest as my primary concern. Ultimately, I hope my patients say two things about me:
Kristen is the Practice Manager of Operations at Highway K Dental Care. She has been working in the dental field for over fourteen years! Kristen has knowledge of both the clinical and business sides of dentistry. Her passion has always been with the dental industry. The most important thing to Kristen is that each patient has a wonderful experience each time he or she steps into our dental home. Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending quality time with her two children, visiting with family, and traveling to the beach!
Born and raised in Missouri, Jessie brings three years of experience to Highway K Dental Care. Jessie attended Forest Park Community College and William Woods University, where she graduated with her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She has been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2016, and she absolutely loves getting to know and interacting with her patients. Jessie is passionate about educating her patients on the importance of oral hygiene. She recently moved back to Missouri from Colorado, where she practiced for a little over a year. Outside of the office, Jessie enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and traveling.
Beth has been in the dental field for more than 35 years, she graduated from Bryan Institute in 1983. Her knowledge ranges ranges from Dental Assisting to Office Management. Beth's passion is Assisting with her Expanded Functions! Her daily goal is to make sure each patient has an amazing experience with their dental visit and leaves with the knowledge of how to achieve a healthy and happy beautiful smile. Beth is a proud wife, mother of 3 children and also blessed with 3 wonderful grandchildren! She enjoys hiking and walking a few miles everyday for exercise. Beth is looking forward to many more years serving her community at Highway K Dental.
Amber is a Business Assistant here at Highway K Dental Care. She attended the Dental Career Institute in Chesterfield, MO and has been working in the dental field for three years. Amber finds immense joy in her work with patients and is dedicated to making the world a brighter place, one confident smile at a time. 'My goal is to help every one of our patients leave our office feeling like the best version of themselves!' Amber is blessed with a beautiful family and spends every minute she can with her four-year-old daughter who she describes as, 'the absolute light of my life.'
Kaitlyn graduated in April of 2019 from the Center for Advanced Dental Assisting and is now a Dental Assistant here at Highway K. She plans to pursue further educational opportunities and work toward becoming an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary (EFDA). Kaitlyn loves helping patients relax, smile, and even laugh during their visit. She is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal oral health and particularly enjoys how patients become a part of the Highway K dental family over time. The patients are her priority and she always makes sure to go beyond simply providing treatment services by also educating them on how to maintain their best smile for many years to come. In her free time, Kaitlyn loves to run, spend time with her family and friends, and seek out new adventures by traveling to new places and exploring new cultures.
Amber has been in the dental field for 12 years as a dental assistant. Her favorite part of being a dental assistant is helping people boost their confidence with their smile. She loves Mexican food, going to the beach for vacation and her favorite color is pink. She enjoys watching the St. Louis Cardinals games! Amber has two children. Logan (13) and Lilly (7), theyre her whole world.
Lora has been in the dental field a total of one and a half years now. She also has been a hairstylist for over 30 years! Lora loves both of her jobs because they are about helping people look and feel better about themselves. She is also very blessed to be a mother of four and a grandma to one lucky grandson! She enjoys having her family around as much as possible.

Dr Pastorek is extremely knowledgeable not only with dentistry, but also with TMJ related issues. I have had issues with my TMJ for years and he was able to answer all of my questions and explain what proper steps to take in place of surgery. 10/10 recommend!!! The staff is extremely lovely and helpful as well!

Will not be going back. This dentist is only interested in providing services that will put thousands in his pocket. He told me today that if I won't do a dental implant he is not interested in helping me with any other services, even regular dental care.

Everyone at Hwy K Dental is nice, knowledgeable and make going to the dentist a "not so scary" ordeal. I am happy I chose them when I had to find a new dentist. MyI highly recommend them.

We had the most wonderful experience at Highway K Dental Care. Dr. Pastorek and his entire team of professionals helped my 4 year old twin daughters feel so comfortable. They made it a fun experience for them. Dr. Pastorek is a top notch professional who truly cares about his patients. He has the best bedside manner. My entire family has switched to the office and we could not be happier. I highly recommend this amazing office.

Dr P and staff got me in for an emergency procedure and stayed late to make sure I was taken care of. Although not pleasant having 2 teeth pulled was not pleasant, they were very supportive getting me through.

This was my first visit. The exam is very thorough. Everyone took time to answer my questions and explain what they were doing. The office is clean, the staff is pleasant and friendly. Dr. Pastorek is excellent.
