During residency, Dr. Mike focused on research and the effect of biomaterials on clinical healing and pain following tooth extraction. Dr. Mike is Board Certified, holding the prestigious title of Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a recognized specialty of the American Dental Association.
Dr. Mike constantly seeks opportunities to refine his clinical skills and patient care through continuing education. He also has a passion for training other professionals and has established a dental hygiene study club with a focus in periodontics and implantology. Had 2 gum surgeries and Dr. Mike did an amazing job! Office is very nice, professional and very responsive to patient inquiries. Dr. Mike is thorough, explains everything very well and his work is outstanding. Highly recommend!!!
I am from Dallas, Texas and I flew to Colorado just to have Dr. Mike Norouzinia work on my teeth. I have had such awful experiences with all my dental work until I saw him. I have never had a more professional and knowledgeable dentist than Dr. Mike Norouzinia and his excellent staff. They are non judgmental about what shape your teeth are in. I came in with no tooth and went above and beyond to help me. I will forever be grateful for all his hard work! I will definitely recommend him to anyone I know.
Dr. Mike is extremely professional. He takes the time to listen to his patients and work out a plan that works best for their needs. I was presented with my options and talked through the pros an cons of each decision. I felt empowered to make the best decision possible. I highly recommend using Dr. Mike.

My experience at Highlands Ranch Periodontics today was exceptional. The young lady who cleaned my teeth was very professional and understanding of my medical considerations. She also was one of the gentlest technicians I've had in recent years. I would highly recommend Highlands Ranch Periodontics to anyone looking for periodontal care.

The entire staff at Highlands Ranch Periodontics made my grafting experience very comfortable and super easy to navigate. I had to reschedule my procedure and the staff was very understanding. Dr. Mike was phenomenal and explained the procedure before and during. His staff was exceptional explaining the post care instructions thoroughly. I highly recommend this office!

Had a graft procedure here. The practice is well organized and efficient, and everyone from the doctor on down are friendly and personable. Easy to get to (but GPS will send you to the back of the building, necessitating having to walk all the way around the building to get in; this obviously has nothing to do with the practice, just FYI). Everything was explained thoroughly several times both before and after the procedure and the doctor called me this evening to see how I'm doing and ask if I have any questions. I received detailed instructions for care with numbers where I can immediately reach doctor in case of emergency. The pain was minimal until the anesthetic finally finished wearing off but they gave me detailed instructions for pain and swelling management too. My insurance didn't cover it but they do take Care Credit which makes it easier to get treatment that in my case was imperative. All in all, if I had to do this again this is the place I'd go. I have an excellent dentist who's been working to save my teeth but she finally couldn't do any more to save these particular teeth and she referred me here. I trust her so I trust them, and I wasn't disappointed. Highly recommended.
