Dr. Landon grew up in Alabama, where he attended Auburn University and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelors degree in Biomedical Sciences. He then completed dental school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Following dental school, Dr. Landon and his wife, Gabrielle, relocated to Washington, D.C. where he practiced as a general dentist with a focus on children for two years while his wife completed her certified registered nurse anesthetist program. Once Gabrielle completed her training, they moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where Dr. Landon completed his two years of pediatric dental residency at Childrens Hospital of Pittsburgh, a top 10 Childrens Hospital in the nation.
Dr. Landons education provided comprehensive training in pediatric dentistry with a focus on patients with special health care needs, hospital dentistry, preventative dentistry, sedation and general anesthesia dentistry, and solutions to issues of access to care. He is a board certified pediatric dentist and an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry as well as the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Landon holds an active Colorado dental license as well as a moderate sedation permit.
In his free time, Dr. Landon enjoys playing tennis or guitar and spending as much time as possible outdoors with his family. In the spring of 2020, Dr. Landon and his wife, Gabrielle, welcomed their baby boy, Noah, to the family. Their other two kiddos are their furry pups, Lila and Nahla.
If theres one thing I want parents to know, its that a pediatric dental office can be a fun environment where kids actually enjoy their experience and look forward to coming back. I was personally terrified of the dentist as a child. I had some bad experiences that left a residual fear of dental environments inside of me. A primary goal of my practice as a pediatric dentist is to ensure that every child begins their young life with a positive outlook on dental care as well as to identify those patients with previously embedded fears and help them to overcome them.
Ive always loved being a part of making people smile! Now, getting to work each day with these precious kiddos, I cant imagine doing anything different! Theyre delightful, fun, so sweet and kids really do tell the best jokes.
When shes not verifying insurance, answering phones and scheduling your little ones, she can be found trying out new restaurants, watching scary movies or fussing over her vegetable garden while hanging with the loves of her life, Gabe and their 6.5-pound feisty Chiweiner, Mu.
Our DA Shelby loves her job at Highlands Pediatric Dentistry working with awesome kiddos every day! Shelbys goal as an assistant is to always make the families feel comfortable and happy with their experience at Highlands Pediatric Dentistry all while making it fun for our patients! Shelby has certification in assisting, along with experience in pediatric dentistry since she graduated school in 2016. When Shelby is not in the office making your kiddos smiles bright, she is off spending time with her two little girls, Addalie and Avery, and her husband, Joseph. Shelby and her family enjoy spending their free time going to the mountains, adventuring to all the different parks that Denver has to offer, being involved in their church community, and just exploring and creating fun memories as a family!

Thank you Dr. Landon and the whole team at Highlands Pediatric Dentistry. My kids have been coming here since they got their very first teeth. My daughter never cries or complains she loves getting a prize after getting her teeth cleaned. My son has autism and is a bit more challenging but we get his teeth done very quickly and he gets his prize and is calmed and reassured before we leave that everything is just fine. I love that they always have the names on the board and everyone greets the kids AND literally everyone wears cool shoes at this place! Everything is FUN from the minute you walk in the door. This was our first trip to the dentist for our little one, and it exceeded every expectation! We were greeted right when walked in, my son was instantly comfortable and at ease. Everything went so smoothly, we got great information regarding at home care to start doing as well which is super helpful! I'm so glad we found this office, and look forward to continue to bringing our family here!

Dr Landon and his staff are absolutely amazing. I'll keep this short and sweet. I would highly recommend Highlands Pediatric Dentistry! If reading this you do not need to do any more research. The staff is the friendliest my children have been to in all of Denver. They are well prepared with toys, games, and TVs at the cleaning chairs. Cleanliness is 12/10. And to top it off Dr. Landon is incredible. Seriously, my children have gone here for years now and I can't find a single thing to complain about. It's top notch!

I cannot begin to tell all how pleased I am with Highlands Pediatric Dentistry. The second my daughter (5) walked through the door she was greeted with warm, friendly, gentle, kind faces. She felt comfortable instantly! The office is very clean, welcoming and geared towards children. She was the only patient therefore, she felt important and as if her treatment mattered! The dental hygienist was wonderful. She was professional, answered my daughters silly teeth questions as well as mine with an understanding tone. The TV with whatever your child chooses to watch suspended from the ceiling helped. The doctor was just AWSOME. No doctor complex, introduced himself by his first name. The doc went above and beyond to relieve our fears and did a great job explaining future care to my daughter and myself. I highly recommend Highlands Pediactric Dentistry! If only they had an adult office. Wish they had been around when I was a kiddo.
