Dr. Shiney George received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in India. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. She enjoys learning new things and keeping abreast of the latest advances in dental technology, continually expanding her training and education. She belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Texas Dental Association (TDA).
Her mission for Highland Oak Dental is to provide the best care to her patients. A large part of this includes creating a clean, modern and soothing atmosphere where her patients feel welcome and relaxed. She and her staff work as a team with the patient, making sure that all information and options are available so that informed decisions can be made. She loves working with her patients, young and old, and seeing them smiling and healthy.
Dr. George says that she truly feels excited to go to her office every day. She has been practicing for many years and still finds dentistry exciting, challenging, and rewarding. Her favorite part of her job is having the ability to help people smile. In restoring a persons teeth, she feels that she is also restoring their self-confidence, their self-image, and their ability to speak and eat and laugh, and also relieving them from pain and discomfort. Her love for her profession and her patients certainly shows.
Mary has been working in the dental field for over 30 years. Her position as a dental assistant is something she finds rewarding. She loves talking with her patients and getting to know them as she works with them. Besides spending quality time with her patients in the office, she also loves going on dental mission trips to help restore smiles and health to others in need. She loves her job and it shows.
As a dental assistant, Mary is an important part of the Highland Oak Dental team. She is invaluable in assisting our dentists during many different treatments and procedures. Her day is never boring as she moves between the front and back office to take care of anything that is needed to make sure both the patient and the doctor have everything they need. Her duties are fast paced, hands-on, and she finds the day feels like it has passed so quickly. At the end of the day, she says that seeing her patients have healthier, better smiles as a result of her hard work, is the best satisfaction.
Veronica enjoys working as a dental assistant and receptionist at Highland Oak Dental. As part of the skilled team, she always ensures that her patients are comfortable and their questions have been answered.
Often, Veronica is the first face or voice our patients experience as she greets them by phone or in person at our office. Her calming presence and friendliness is something our patients comment favorably on, as well as her willingness to find an answer to any questions they might have. Good communication is one of her strongest suits, as she knows how important it is to understand her patients and help them get their needs addressed. She also knows how crucial it is to help them understand what the doctor has directed them to do. Whether she is working in the front or the back office, she takes her role as part of a dynamic team very seriously. She receives a lot of satisfaction in helping people take care of their health and also seeing them smile again.

I was referred by a third party and I'm glad Highland Oak was where I was referred. The waiting area and exam room were both very clean, the staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. I'd definitely recommend Highland Oak Dental to anyone looking for a family dentist.

Very brief but pleasant interaction with Dr George. She performed a very non-invasive VA review of my dental needs. She was polite, professional, and very friendly. The young lady working the front desk was very nice as well.

I just relocated and wanted to find a frisco dentist because my checkup was long overdue. I have an unreasonable fear of dentists and I was dreading the visit at first. When I entered their office though, my fears and anxieties were washed away. Every member of the staff was courteous and friendly that's why. Also, the dentist frequently asked if I was comfortable during my procedure. They were quick to respond to any questions I have too. The office is clean and equipped with the most up-to-date technology and devices.

After a couple of years of horrible dental experiences with a variety of dentists, I finally found an office that is worth visiting to. Their office has new, cutting-edge instruments and technology. My procedure was simple, quick, and nearly painless. Dr. Shiney George is an amazing dentist frisco. She has taken such good care of me.

A dentist from a different dental office mishandled my fillings about 2 months ago, causing me to feel discomfort ever since. That dentist dismissed my concerns, telling me that it "needed time to recover." By the middle of last week, the mild pain had escalated to the point where I was in tears. I searched for an emergency dentist near me on google and found highland oak dental. When I visited, the emergency dentist was able to listen, diagnose, and fix my problem in less than an hour. The price of the treatment is quite affordable too. I slept pain-free for the first time in 2 months last night.

I had an extremely painful abscess and spent all weekend in pain. Highland Oak Dental was able to take me in as a new patient first thing Monday to correct the issue and relieve me from all of the pain I was experiencing. Very friendly and I would recommend to anyone.

I'm happy I found this dental clinic. My two front teeth were knocked out and I needed an emergency dentist ASAP. Luckily, I was able to see Dr. George within hours after my accident. Great team. I felt comfortable from start to finish. If you have a dental emergency, I advise you to visit this location.
