Dr. Ruff achieved his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 1998. He graduated cum laude in the top 10 percent of his class and received awards in oral diagnosis, periodontal therapy, and oral surgery. Previous to this, Dr. Ruff completed his undergraduate studies in chemistry at Colorado State University. From 1998-2002, Dr. Ruff served as a dental officer for the US Navy. He was on active duty in Washington State and was later deployed to Japan and served on board the USS Blue Ridge. In his dental training with the Navy, Dr. Ruff gained valuable experience working on comprehensive complex cases. He received a Navy Achievement Medal in recognition of outstanding patient care. Furthermore, Dr. Ruff has been named a Top Dentist in Denvers 5280 Magazine several times.
Dr. Ruff continually expands his skill and expertise in dentistry through continuing education. He is able to offer his patients the latest dental treatment options in the field, including Invisalign and same-day crowns. Dr. Ruff has been practicing dentistry in Colorado since 2003. He has won an achievement award from Colorado Delta Dental for the past four years and was ranked in the top 3% for quality care and efficiency. As a dentist, Dr. Ruff emphasizes effective preventive care and working towards optimal dental health for each patient. In his free time, Dr. Ruff loves skiing, playing hockey, and fishing.
Diane joined Dr. Ruffs office in July of 2015. To say she is always busy is an understatement. She runs the front office, processes payroll, insurance, and keeps the staff running efficiently. Before entering the dental world, she worked in medical for years. When not bust at work, Diane enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and cross stitching. She also enjoys photography and volunteer work.
Janet has been at Dr. Ruffs office since August of 2015. She is a Fort Collins native and graduated from Rocky Mtn. High School, CSU, and University of Colorado Health Sciences with a BS in Dental Hygiene. Janet is very passionate about dental hygiene and loves educating and helping her patients with their oral health. In her spare time she enjoys attending her daughters sporting events and spending time with them during their teenage years. She loves traveling, photography, and camping.
Desiree came to Dr. Ruffs office in October of 2015. She is a Greeley native and has been assisting for a little over six years. She is our Lead Assistant and keeps our back office organized and ready for treatment. She loves helping patients and making them feel confident about their smile. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves being outdoors and enjoys fishing and camping.

Dr. Ruff and his team are truly amazing. He is exceptionally gentle, honest and fair. His entire team is kind and caring and their work is always above expectation. If you have any kind of dental anxiety, trust this team!

Great dentist. Visits are relatively painless, friendly hygienists, I feel the doctor has my best interest in mind and they got me floss more. Don't require anything else

Dr. Ruff is the best dentist I have ever had in my nearly 60 years of life! Whether you are young or old, Dr. Ruff will make you feel respected and at ease. He is very personable and explains technical dental information in an easy-to-understand manner. He has outstanding problem-solving skills. He was the only dentist who resolved my inflamed gum issue (and I've been to many dentists). He thinks outside the box to determine the best treatment approach for the patient. He is honest and compassionate. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Ruff and his helpful staff!

Dr. Ruff has been our family dentist for over 10 years now!! Even though I moved from Windsor to Fort Collins, I still see him and send referrals to him all the time. Thanks Dr. Ruff for always squeezing me in even when I have waited over a year!

Just had a root canal with Dr. Ruff. It was actually painless minus the small pinch when the Novocaine was given. Great staff and if you haven't seen a dentist for a while Dr. Ruff wont lecture you. He will see where you are at and work with you from there. I recommend Dr. Ruff with no reservations. Also, how can you not trust a dentist who is the official dentist of a hockey team (Colorado Eagles)?

My kids and I recently moved from MN. We were in search of a dentist. We feel very fortunate to have found Highland Meadows Dental. Dr. Ruff and his staff are wonderful. They have made me and my family feel very comfortable. My daughter had her wisdom teeth out and the staff was amazing. She was extremely anxious. Dr Ruff and Lisa took the time to discuss everything with her and make her feel completely at ease. Dr Ruff is exceptional at regional analgesia! She didn't even flinch. Dallas took great care of me during my procedure as well! And my son's experience was just as good! The entire staff is terrific!

I've been visiting Dr Ruff since I was a young kid and he has consistently provided me excellent care with general cleanings and X-rays, wisdom tooth removal, and Invisalign. It is evident he strives to keep his facility up to date with the latest and greatest dental equipment and his staff always are friendly and helpful. I now travel from out of state just to see the team every 6 months!
