I was so excited about the prospect of finding a dentist close to home, but I was not a fan of my visit. The dental hygienist and front desk ladies could not have been nicer. When I met with the doctor, however, she berated me for not wanting my wisdom teeth removed. She told me my opinion was "stupid". I felt this was incredibly demeaning, and I have gotten several second opinions on if I need them removed and I was told that I did not have to. In addition, everything at the office was expensive. They tried to get me to buy a more expensive toothbrush and that I needed a more extensive teeth cleaning for an additional cost. I work in healthcare and didn't want the surgery for several reasons. I understand that she has gone through extensive schooling but I was not a fan of being talked down to in such a manner. I will not be back and will warn others to not visit here.

My cleaner was great! Hope to have her always, she was so sweet and personable. Kind of miss Dr. Pfeiffer though. I came to him for years and it is different having a new person.

I had a great experience as a first time patient here. Sam was very concerned about making sure that I was comfortable during my cleaning and dental work. Dr. Hunter was very pleasant and very helpful as well.

The team was excellent! Informative, detailed about the status of my teeth, safe environment and engaging. I highly recommend this dentist. Also, great followup after my crown procedure to check on my recovery status.

I haven't been to the dentist I'm years and had a checkup and cleaning today. This is definitely the most educational dental/medical office I've ever been in. Sam did an awesome job cleaning my teeth and managed to make a decade worth of neglect painless to clean up. I was anxious and she talked to me the entire time. I'm excited to get my teeth healthy again and I'm so happy to have found an office who actually cares. Would highly recommend to everyone.

I had planned to get dental care closer to home after Dr. Pfeiffer retired. But after only one visit with the current doctor and staff, I will continue to receive my dental care from this fine group of professionals. Super friendly and good at what they do. Samantha is friendly, smart and funny. She is very good at her job and cares about the patients. Top notch dental care.

Samantha did a good job at cleaning my teeth & explaining the way a couple things work, and the reason why a couple things are as important as they are, everyone here is always pleasant and make it easy to keep coming back time after time , even though they say nobody likes going to the dentist! I had Samantha clean my teeth and she was great. Her personality really shined. Typically I'm not a huge fan of going to the dentist but this visit was very pleasant and there were a lot of laughs. I hope I get her next appointment!

I've always been nervous about going to the dentist so when I crackled a tooth, I was skeptical even though I knew it had to be fixed. I chose Highland Family Dental for the simple reason that it was close to home. I can't recommend them enough. Dr. Hunter and Marie made the visit so comfortable. I actually looked forward to my follow up appointment. The whole team was wonderful and I highly recommend Highland to anyone. The office is clean and comfortable, the staff treat you like an old friend, and the professionalism is top notch.
