Dr. Moe Katz grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and later moved with his family to Suffern, New York. He received his dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry and completed his residency program at the VA Hospital in New Jersey.
Dr. Katzs patience and compassion allow him to deliver an experience where every patient feels comfortable. He addresses his patients concerns about their oral health with clear and easy to understand explanations. At his residency at the VA Hospital, he led veterans with severe PTSD to overcome dental fears by creating a calm and trusting environment.
Dr. Katzs attention to detail and understanding of dentistry allow him to provide excellent treatment options to address his patients needs. He is committed to the constant advancement of his skills and knowledge in the field of dentistry. As a result, he attends courses throughout the year to learn the latest technologies that he can offer to his patients.
Away from the office, Dr. Katz enjoys spending time with his wife, family and friends. His love of the outdoors is why he is often hiking, camping or traveling with his wife to the Colorado mountains.

After many years not going to dentists I ended up with 2 root canals. I pushed it off till my friend recommended me this wonderful dental group. People, this place is 1 of a kind! I never ever had a dentist that was sooo caring, gentle, and loyal to there patients. Every dr there is a gem!! I was treated by Dr Spector, Dr Barack and Dr Faber wow wow they're sooo caring... 1 by 1 they are kind and ready to answer all your questions and make sure your comfortable the entire time. Their assistant Alisa is so caring and always there with a helping hand. She herself is working really hard assisting the Dr in every way... The receptionist is Michelle and she's also phenomenal! She's kind, nice, and very sweet.... there's always a positive atmosphere being there. Eventhough sometimes twas a little delay it didn't affect me cause the patients always see a happy Dr... the technology is upgraded and the best I ever saw a dentist could have... doing a root canal was always a scary thing for me, But after doing it with this group my mindset changed and it's not scary anymore... I asked for 2 needles and it was 100% pain free... and best of all it was completely free!! A root canal free!! My fidelis insurance paid every $... wherever I go and whoever I meet I recommend this place cause everyone deserves a good dentist!! BTW they have more locations... call them for your best experience!!

I've been very happy with the two cleanings I've had here. They take time to discuss the exam, and everyone is pleasant. I feel very comfortable recommending this dental practice.

My 3 year old and I were seen here for a regular cleaning and checkup, and we had a fantastic experience. The dentist and hygienist were excellent. The receptionist Melissa was so friendly and was even kind enough to babysit while I had my teeth cleaned. Thanks for being such a family friendly environment!

After my dentist of 25 years retired I needed to find another great dentist. Wow. HFDG exceeded my expectations! I found my new dental home. Amazing compassion from both Dr. Katz and Denis; they explained everything and made conversation so easily it put my comfort level over the top. Even the receptionist was exceptionally pleasant!

I had a really great experience! Sylvia got me an appointment within a day of me asking around for good dentists! I just recently got dental insurance, so I haven't been to a dentist in years and I was nervous. While I try to take care of my teeth, obviously you will never be able to catch all cavities and other issues like a dentist and their staff does. The hygienist/assistant Dennis (I hope that's how you spell his name) was amazing and made the experience very pleasant and fun! I fully trust him to do any deep cleanings, laser treatments etc. I only saw the actual doctor for like 2 seconds, which - I guess - is a good sign so I honestly don't have to say much about them. Sylvia was great and explained what my insurance covers and what I'd have to pay out of pocket in detail, so there were no guessing games and I didn't get sticker shocked! she was also able to schedule all my next appointments close to each other, so I don't have to wait weeks or months to do my follow ups! I recommend this office to everyone who is looking for a dentist office that fosters a judgement free environment

I had a very nice experience at HF Dental group. The receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable about the limits of my insurance. The dental exam was comprehensive, and Dennis the hygienist was so personable and nice. The dentist was also very nice and went into detail about the results of my exam and further treatment. Overall very happy with my treatment and glad to know there is a great dental office so close to home.

I am someone who went 10+ years without going to the dentist. Dr. Katz and his staff came highly recommended and with good reason. Had to get a few fillings to get back to healthy and Dr. Katz made it super easy and painless. His office staff made it remarkably easy to set up all my appointments, and the subsequent cleanings with Dennis were quick and highly encouraging. I will be a regular patient at HF Dental Group.
