An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

I have had good visits with this group. Especially Aimee the hygienist. Terrific asset to the group. She is very competent and has the best personality for her job. I highly recommend making an appointment with this group.

My children go to this dentist and absolutely love him so when my tooth broke last week he was the 1st person I called. The office staff was so nice and they even got me in early. The dentist went above and beyond making me feel better about my lack of dental care. I had no idea how bad it was until I saw the xray. He was quickly able to fix me up. The staff was awesome. They even have blankets. I have never felt so much relief at the dentist before. We will be clients for life.

Dr. Baidawar and the other staff were excellent. I had crown made and placed in one visit. Dr. Baidawar was very professional and made sure I was comfortable throughout the preparation process and explained what was going on. I recommend Highland Dental to all for your dental needs. Excellent care provided by Dr Joesting, Faryn, and the rest of the HDG team. I went in for a checkup a couple of weeks ago and Dr J found a crack in a molar. He recommended a crown but did his best to make sure the cost was minimal because I am a self pay patient. When the crown was fitted they did it all in one day with virtually no discomfort. Very good experience and I would highly recommend Dr Joesting and his staff.

I have visited Highland Dental Group in Rpcklin, CA three times, once for an initial review and twice for a deep periodontal cleaning. All the staff I met have been welcoming and warm. My only real interactions, though, has been with the Dental Hygienist, Aimee. Aimee is very skilled and highly competent at her job but beyond that she is very personable and caring. Her personality is such that I immediately felt at ease with her. She was concerned about my comfort. I won't say I'm looking forward to my next dental visit, but if one has to go to a dentist, and most of us do, I highly recommend this office and Aimee.

I needed a dentist asap and Dr Tim squeezed me into his schedule. He listened to my concerns and helped flexed his schedule to help me. They suggested some procedures for me and told me my insurance would cover a certain amount. Long story short, I ended up with a huge bill and was sent to collections when I asked them to check with the insurance again. Decent place but be careful what they tell you will be covered by insurance.

I Love this Dentist. Highland Dental in Rocklin. Is an asset to the Rocklin Community. He takes the time to answer questions, they are helpful with Dental insurance. Also they offer a discount plan on provided services. The Staff is there for the Patient Sean, Salina, Faryn, Courtney are all amazing people. I have been seeing the hygienist she is more than good. I had no pain when work was done from injections or the work she was doing. Aimee makes sure you are comfortable and happy thru the whole procedure. If you need or want a good Dentist this is the place to go. Dentist is Dr. Joesting is the Best.

I highly recommend Michael Joesting, DDS! He is patient, kind, informative, personable and professional. I had dental work done today and it was the best experience I've ever had at a dentist. Another plus is the fabulous dental assistant, Faryn! She is so sweet, funny, and eased the dental anxiety. The entire staff is welcoming and kind from the moment that you walk in.

Seemed like total confusion. I had an appointment for exam and teeth cleaning. After about 1.5 hours the exam concluded with a list and cost estimate of work needing to be accomplished. But....no cleaning,. I was told I was not scheduled for the hygienist for a cleaning. Seriously? And, they were not clear as to who was responsible for the cleaning....the dentist or hygienist. Will NOT be back.

Poor management. 1) At your first appointment they have you sign all the paperwork digitally without letting you see what your signing or pre emailing you the documents first. Front desk was very rude when I asked to see what I was signing. 2) They cancel your appointments. They cancelled two of mine. The first time for an unforeseen remodel...the last cancellation, one of the girls at the front desk called my husbands phone (did not provide them with his cell for my appointments) saying the appointment was cancelled, when I called later that same day to ask why my appointments keep getting cancelled they said I was still in their system for an appointment yet we had a voicemail cancelling that same appointment 3) The front desk does not understand the work the dentist orders. I called three time to set up my second appointment for the work the dentist ordered and entered into my chart. Each time the front desk said they didn't see any work ordered and that they would have to physically find the dentist, talk to him, and give me a call back. The first two persons I talked to did not call back. Will not continue with this dental group. Too bad because the dentist was fine. Professional and informed front desk would really help!

Super hard to get an appointment , my dentist had to sent the referral twice because the girl who works in the office was super confused and she was no organized at all. Finally got an appointment after 1 week . They ended up canceling my appointment 3 days before. Definitely not making an appointment here never again.

Just fyi for anyone visiting. Dr. Tim is no longer associated with this office even through the web page doesn't list him as gone. I didn't recognize any of the staff, except for the hygienist Amee, and I have unfortunately, spent a lot of time at there. Even when I asked specifically before my appointment if I was seeing Dr. Tim I was told the dentist was in, leading me to believe he was. I spoke to the office 3 times in the past month scheduling appointments and rescheduling due to miscommunications over what I was having done at my visit. It was never mentioned to me he was gone. If I was just reviewing Amee I would give 5 stars hands down. She is the best hygienist I've ever had. However, with the turn over of the practice, the office staff being somewhat inexperienced in scheduling, taking payments, and check-in, my overall experience was oK. It just wasn't the quality of attention to detail, care, and communication I have come to rely on from this office. It was practices like these that made me leave other smile generation offices.

Get a second opinion. I was given a list of work they deemed necessary. Several thousands of dollars. I went to a nearby more reputable dentist who saw no such issues.
