Worst dental clinic ever. They would cancel your appointment anytime they want without giving you a proper reason. Time to change to a better clinic.

I've been calling like last week till now no one is answering. I left message too but no one is answering also. what happened to the two ladies Update may 31 2021 If i could give 0 I would give them 0. It's unprofessional since they changed all stuff they been unprofessional they gonna call you last minute to changed the schedule appointment which is you already save that day since you have to ask the work for day off because you have an appointment but highland dental group gonna call you last minute that they're gonna change the schedule. How come they dont call you like atleast 2 days before. And then now we supposed to have an appointment why they didn't call me to reschedule the appointment they didn't tell me that they're close since its memorial day. But in they're website it say OPEN!! Be professional guys. 9/4/2022 This office is a joke they are getting worst! No answering phone since our appointment got cancelled maybe this time telling me to change my dental now. Omg!

X-ray apartment wasn't bad interior exterior of the building was filthy front door windows were smudged with possibly food near the handle the dentist had a foul mouth as in cursing in front of my child the dentist look like he needed to take a bath and get a haircut there was debris all over the floor on the inside of the building very unprofessional atmosphere and dentist look like he needed to retire and bathe. Also I just obtained dental insurance and visited a wonderful dental office awesome assistance awesome doctor at the VA at McClellan right around the corner from highland dental I asked if I should have a crown put on a certain tooth they said it was not necessary but for cosmetic reasons if I wanted to they could do that the bite was normal there was no decay and it was still sitting above the gum line and relatively clean the dentist at highland dental said I need to come up with $800 to get a crown put on the tooth may have chipped off but there was no problem at all whatsoever what a scam highland dental is!!!!!

They cancelled my appointment on May 5. I called them, left voicemail or even sent text messages to reschedule me, but no call back! Today even I drove there but it was close at 3:30pm!!! While it should be open till 5pm. I spent lots of out of pocket money so far for unfinished job. It's not acceptable..

I gave my friend a ride here he says it sucks I sure can see it. Barley any seats and a small waiting room a disabled kid that can't speak English or walk normal don't have enough seats there sure is something wrong. Not that enjoyable when you back is already in pain. They tried so hard to force people to ware mask including ourselves but we all revolted and they snarkly gave up. I get a lot of people here have low income and medical pays for everything but at least try and make a decent waiting room the TV is not face right no magizens rack no art pictures like every other dentist office I've seen or even toys or kids. But thanks for letting.me use the restroom at least lest imporve the atmosphere of the waiting room glad im not a patent here

1st visit: was excellent, got my teeth cleaned & dental assistants were very professional, friendly, & helpful. Got my ex-rays & had 2 cavities that needed fixed. Made an appointment. 2nd visit: waited a while in the front office. Called me back. Waited in the chair for 45 minutes. Wanted to take more x-rays. What? Dentist came & said "you need a root canal. " Yes, I KNOW, YOU TOLD ME THAT LAST VISIT..... I said can you do it today? Let me see if we can get authorization....FROM MY DOCTOR.....WHAT? Do you have any medical concerns? Yes, I have high blood pressure, but I take medication. "Ok, we need your doctor's permission to do this procedure. It is risky. Takes my blood pressure, says it high. Here, fill out this paper, have your doctor sign off on it...." Ok, I go to Kaiser, follow their protocol & procedures to request "requested paperwork, " & email it to requested email address. Call to confirm that your office received the email, 47 TIMES.....NOBODY EVER ANSWERS.... 1st office visit was 5 STARS 2nd office could've been 5 STARS, BUT was 1 star. Hence the average became 3 STARS. Most other people would've been way harder on you. I feel I was very fair!

This place should not be in business. They are racist and if you are getting dental work through Medi-Cal you get treated like the worse. Dentist are not knowing patients dental plan. Anny the office manager is worse in returning customers call and they whole staff are rude and hang up phones if you call with a issue. They treat my 68 year old mother horrible during her dental visit we requested refund and stop the dental work because they made my moms mouth bleed and in pain till today. Till change us for the visit and crown and some lab work which we didn't move forward with. I do not recommend no one at this horrible terrifying place.

Wow just not a good experience, they never answer the phone, not constant with scheduling and keeping appointments. And my crowns where done terribly. But what do you expect with dental insurance from medical??
