Dr. Droege opened the doors of his new facility upon completion of his education in 1987 from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Droege consistently strives to bring the highest degree of care to his patients by utilizing many continuing education programs. He recently received his Fellowship for implants from The Misch Institute creating the opportunity to deliver all services here under one roof. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Droeges hobbies include spending time with his family, golf, and hunting. Dr. Droege works out of the Breese Dental Care location.
Dr. Kasey Santel completed his education in June of 2015 from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. He joined the practice immediately upon graduation fulfilling his desire to provide care in a rural community. Dr. Santel looks forward to developing his own practicing style while having a practitioner like Dr. Droege with many years of experience as a guide along the way. He has completed additional studies in lasers, clear aligner therapy for orthodontic care and oral conscious sedation. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Santels hobbies include spending time with his family, reading, and golf. Dr. Santel works out of both, the Highland Dental Care and Breese Dental Care locations.

Dr. Droege and Dr. Santel are both certified by the World Clinical Institute to use lasers. Waterlase Dentistry uses laser energy and a gentle spray of water to perform a wide range of dental procedures without the heat, vibration, and pressure associated with the dental drill. With many procedures, it is possible to use less anesthetic, and often no anesthetic at all. Laser light and a gentle spray of water typically cause little or no discomfort. If anesthetic was not needed, you can return to normal activities immediately.

Dr Santel & his staff @ Highland Dental Care are very professional & courteous & do a great job of getting you in right on your appt time. I feel I am in great hands and they always let you know they are doing & why. I recommend you check them out for yourselves, they are located at 10 Apex Dr #2 Highland, IL & they have another location in Breese, IL.

Extremely happy with my experience. I was having excruciating tooth pain, they got me in ASAP. The doctor is super nice, he was gentle with the numbing and he even called me at home to make sure I was doing okay after having 2 teeth pulled. I've never had a dentist care so much. Best experience I've ever had at a dental office.

I can honestly say I love going to the dentist again because of Dr. Santel and his team at Highland Dental Care. The office is welcoming and staff really care about their patients. Dr. Santel is really great! I had a couple of procedures that needed to be done and he walked me through the process and my options. I felt very comfortable because it's obvious that he cares and what was best for me was considered in the decision-making at each step of the way. The thing I really appreciated was that Dr. Santel personally calls to check in with you on how you are doing after the procedure. His staff are wonderful and put you at ease from the moment you walk in. My entire family goes to Highland Dental Care now and I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for great dental care!
