Dr. LoCascio began his career as a dental associate in Detroit before joining a group practice in Waterford, MI. He felt a group practice didnt give him the freedom and flexibility to provide his patients the care they deserved, so he opened his own dental office in Waterford in 1997. He moved his practice to Highland 10 years later and has been in Highland Township ever since.

He has continued to stay abreast of the latest dental training and research to ensure his patients receive the highest quality care. He received advanced dental implant training at the Misch Resnik Implant Institute, holds a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and took courses in advanced restorative dentistry, including TMJ and bite issues, from the Pankey Institute.

Dr. LoCascio performs the Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique, agum recession treatmentthat is much less invasive and time-consuming than traditional surgical procedures to repair gums. Dr. LoCascio was the first general dentist in Michigan to be certified in this innovative technique.

Like Dr. LoCascio, members of our Highland dental team have completed extensive training in many areas of dentistry. For example, several team members have received certification from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Helen has worked in dentistry since 1983 and with Dr. LoCascio since 1988. Her training includes dental assistant certification, X-ray certification, CPR certification, and implant training through the Misch Implant Institute and the ICOI. Outside the office, Helen loves traveling and spending time with her large family.

Amie has worked with Dr. LoCascio since 1991, moving to this location with him in 2007. Her history as a dental assistant aids her in answering your questions about your dental treatment and billing. Outside of work, Amie enjoys spending time on the lake with her family and friends.

Candice graduated with honors from the University of Michigan. She has worked as a hygienist since 2003. Besides keeping our patients teeth clean and healthy, Candice runs the sleep medicine part of our practice. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and dogs.

A 2000 graduate of Mott Community College, Bonnie has worked with us since 2001. Her continuing education courses include local anesthetic and ICOI implant certification. Her hobbies include water skiing, snow skiing, and playing with her dogs.

Carly earned her certificate through the Oakland Dental Assistant School in 2015. She is X-ray, CPR, and first aid certified. Raised in Wolverine, MI, she moved to Highland in 2011 to be closer to her family. She enjoys working as a crew member on her familys Christmas tree farm.
