Today was my first visit to a dentist in many years and I was apprehensive but the team at High Springs dental is nothing short of fabulous. Caysie is amazing. I was very relaxed in her care. Blair is super informative and helpful at the front desk. I'll be returning for some dental work and not nearly so apprehensive now that I know this place is top notch.

There's an old saying about how one really gets to know another during a time of crisis. Yesterday was that time of crisis for me when an old crown fell out of my mouth at around 4:15 pm. Being a cowardly person around dentists, and dental work in general, I panicked but knew enough to reach for the phone to call High Springs Dental. The quick review is that by 5:05 pm, I was on my way home, without pain, and with my crown back in my mouth where it belonged. I've been a new patient of Dr. Von Gunten for the past 6 months (not of this crown which was placed 20 years ago) and after 5 visits, I've gotten an idea of the professionalism and teamwork that keeps the office humming along. But yesterday was the proof. From my panicked phone call, to my relaxed exit, there were caring professionals working to help this nervous patient get through a dental emergency. It takes a team. Very grateful today for Ariel whose soft hand and soft manner was noticed and sincerely appreciated. Especially grateful for Dr. Von Gunten whose compassionate and meticulous (and speedy!!!) work took me from the edge of a panic attack to just another ride home in less than 50 minutes. Wow! Very responsive, knowledgeable and fair. Thank you so much Dr. Von Gunten and the High Springs Dental team!

Broke a crown. Called at 8am was able to see the doctor at 2p that day. Great professional service and staff. Thanks for saving my tooth.

I've been a patient of Dr. Cox for over 40 years......he's become a respected friend and continues to be a World Class Dentist!! Sadly and being a little selfish, I hated hearing from him, that he is retiring...Will NOT be the same not seeing him but he is a family friend, I know where he lives.." ) I may just have to stop by and make sure he's enjoying his much deserved Retirement!!! Sandy is the best Hygienist ever and always kind, patient and good at caring about her patients!! His office staff have always been polite and helpful. I look forward to seeing everyone and catching up. Thank You Dr. Cox for your dedication and caring ways you have always shown to me!! I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy and Healthy 2021!! I have been going to Dr. Cox's dental practice for over 20 years. Dr. Cox and his staff have always been very friendly, caring, and professional. I have NEVER had any problems with any of the dental work that I received. I would recommend them very highly.

I had a prophy and also a consultation with Dr. Von Gunten. Fantastic. I've had enough bad or less than adequate visits with other dentists over the years, and Dr. Von Gunten puts the face on dentistry that I appreciate - he is very honest and straightforward. He won't tell you need something that you don't, and if you think you need something and he doesn't see the same need, he will be perfectly honest with you. Garilee was my hygienist. She was wonderful too. She obviously knew her job and did a wonderful job....as well as being pleasant and having a good sense of humor. Thank you both so much!

BEST DENTAL PRACTICE I"VE BEEN TO IN MY 73 YEARS! Dr. Cox Is a talented caring dentist, as are all his employees. The office is sparkling clean. I've never had to wait. In all respects I would highly recommend.

I was nervous. Never had a crown before and a new dentist, but I had faith that Dr. Cox left me in good hands. I am so happy! Dr. Von Gunter and staff are the best.

Welcome Dr Curtis von Gunten, sorry Dr Cox is no longer there , understand he retired and he will be missed.But he could not have picked a better dentist than you to fill his place. Dr. Gunten and his members of his staff and assistant's are so compassionate and helpful. Dr. Gunten does excellent work and will not try to sell you something you don't need . He is a straight and forward dentist. I highly recommend him , He is just what we need in High springs Florida.

Horrible customer service, can't fit you in schedule for over a month if needed and in pain. Randomly canceled my cleaning that was scheduled 6 months ago. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else

Watch you personal info, withdrawed 160.00 out of my checking. He had no authorization from me, I had no balance on my account. Had never seen Dr. VonGunten as a patient. Did finally get it refund. After we contacted them. Stay away from that front office, rude, loud mouth, lying thefts.
